Modeling and Simulation of Hybrid Generator of Photovoltaic, Genset and Battery
In Proc. of the 2013 International Workshop on Modern Research Methods in Electrical Engineering (IWORMEE 2013)Electrical power system generating from renewable energy sources especially solar and conventional power plants such as the generator is designed as an educational model for the public to understand how the hybrid system can generate electrical power as a unified system. This paper is aimed to investigate the hybrid system performance between photovoltaic, genset and battery as well as the system units, so that they could work as an integrated system in generating the electric power. This is a descriptive paper with simulation approach. Simulation parameters were obtained through data documentation of the photovoltaic, genset, battery and Solar radiation intensity, they were input into a Simulink/Matlab simulation program. The simulation model parameters created were adjusted with the unit component characteristics of the existing generator in the Laboratory. The results obtained from the simulation indicates that if the photovoltaic and battery power can still serve the load, the genset will be "off" or vice versa. The power magnitude generated by photovoltaic is 110.17 Watts at 0.88 kW/m2 solar radiation, whereas the power magnitude of the genset is 98.08 Watts on the lap of 350 rad/sec. At 31.78 and 55.79 hours and 67.70 hours until 70.04 hours of 72 hours simulated, the power supply decrease occurs from the generator. This can be overcome by using a larger battery capacity

Beberapa tahun terakhir populasi kendaraan di Negara berkembang termasuk Indonesia mengalami pertumbuhan yang cukup pesat. Kota Makassar saat ini pun mengalami problematika transportasi seperti kota-kota besar umumnya di Indonesia, dengan adanya pertumbuhan jumlah kendaraan yang tidak diimbangi dengan pertumbuhan jaringan jalan ini cenderung mengakibatkan perlambatan hingga kemacetan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat kebisingan lalu lintas di ruas jalan dengan tipe 4/2D di kota Makassar dan memprediksi tingkat kebisingan lalul intas di ruas jalan dengan tipe 4/2D di Kota Makassar menggunakan Model Prediksi ASJ-RTN 2008. Penelitian dilakukan pada ruas jalan yang memiliki empat jalur dua lajur dengan median atau 4/2D dengan jumlah titik pengamatan sebanyak 11 titik. Hasil yang didapat adalah tingkat kebisingan ekivalen atau LAeq telah melewati ambang batas yang dipersyaratkan pada Pedoman Perhitungan Kapasitas Jalan PU no. 13 tahun 2003 dengan tingkat kebisingan LAeq,day adalah sebesar 79,5 dB. Dari hasil prediksi menggunakan model ASJ-RTN 2008 menghasilkan nilai tingkat kebisingan prediksi rata-rata dengan klason sebesar 77,6 dB dimana nilai tingkat kebisingan prediksi ini dibawah nilai tingkat kebisingan hasil pengukuran dB dengan nilai Korelasi Pearson (R) didapat sebesar 0,99 dan nilai RMSE sebesar 0,61. Oleh karena itu prediksi kebisingan menggunakan model ASJ-RTN 2008 dengan klakson dikatakan cukup baik digunakan untuk memprediksi.\ud

Analisis Karakteristik Spasial Kota Pare-Pare Berbasis GIS dan Remote Sensing Menggunakan Citra Landsat 8
Perkembangan teknologi informasi pun berkembang sangat pesat hingga sekarang ini sehingga masyarakat akan lebih mudah untuk dapat mengakses informasi. Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) atau Geographic Information System (GIS) merupakan sistem informasi berbasis komputer yang digunakan untuk mengolah dan menyimpan data atau informasi geografis. Aplikasi SIG dapat digunakan untuk berbagai kepentingan selama data yang diolah memiliki referensi geografi, maksudnya data tersebut terdiri dari fenomena atau objek yang dapat disajikan dalam bentuk fisik serta memiliki lokasi keruangan. Salah satu aplikasi yang digunakan adalah Quantum GIS (QGIS). Data referensi geografi untuk keperluan GIS diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode penginderaan jauh (Remote Sensing). Penginderaan jauh adalah ilmu dan seni untuk memperoleh informasi tentang suatu obyek, daerah, atau fenomena melalui analisis data yang diperoleh dengan suatu alat tanpa kontak langsung dengan obyek, daerah, atau fenomena yang dikaji. Penginderaan jauh menggunakan citra optik dari satelit untuk melakukan pengukuran dan intepretasi data di lapangan. Citra optik yang biasa digunakan adalah citra Land Satellite. Salah satu kegunaan dari GIS itu sendiri yaitu kita akan lebih mudah dalam mengklasifikasi potensial untuk perencanaan jaringan jalan dari suatu wilayah. Dalam merencanakan jaringan jalan diperlukan data berubah kontur (elevasi) dari suatu wilayah yang bisa didapatkan dengan menggunakan citra satelit. Daerah yang ditinjau untuk penelitian adalah Kota Pare-Pare. Adapun tujuan penelitian yaitu 1. Menaganalisis bentuk demografi berbasis GIS di daerah Pare-Pare ; 2. Menganalisis karakteristik spasial Kota Pare-Pare dengan citra satelit. Dari hasil analisis ini menghasilkan karakteristik jalan, demografi, indeks vegetasi dan indeks hidrologi dari Kota Pare-Pare.\ud

varieties had a significant effect on growth of plant height (4, 8, and 12 weeks after\ud
planting), number of tillers (10 and 12 weeks after planting), wet weight, dry weight of\ud
plants and root length. Accession Pare Pinjan showed growth of plant height, number of\ud

Keanekaragaman Jenis Kupu-kupu (Lepidoptera:Rhopalocera) Di Blok Hutan Kaikalu Kawasan Cagar Alam Kakenauwe Kabupaten Buton Sulawesi Tenggara
Penelitian Keanekaragaman Jenis Kupu-Kupu (Lepidoptera : Rhopalocera) Di Blok Hutan Kaikalu Kawasan Cagar Alam Kakenauwe Kabupaten Buton Sulawesi Tenggara, telah dilakukan pada bulan Juni-Juli 2017, bertujuan mengetahui tingkat keanekaragaman jenis kupu-kupu (Rhopalocera) di Kawasan Cagar Alam Kakenauwe, Kabupaten Buton, Sulawesi Tenggara. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian lapangan, yang bersifat eksploratif deskriptif, menggunakan metode jelajah dan point sensus, dengan 3 stasiun. Jenis data dikumpulkan adalah jumlah spesies, jumlah individu perspesies, parameter lingkungan, dan kondisi vegetasi. Sampling kupu-kupu dilakukan dengan teknik jaring ayun. Hasil penelitian diperoleh 41 spesies kupu-kupu yang tercakup ke dalam 5 familia. Nymphalidae merupakan familia yang relatif dominan dengan persentase 78,01%, kemudian Pieridae 11,63%, Papilionidae 7,79%, Lycaenidae 2,45%, dan terendah dari Hesperiidae hanya 0,11%. Jenis Cethosia myrina dan Troides hypolitus termasuk yang dilindungi berdasarkan peraturan pemerintah No: 7/1999, yaitu, sedangkan Throides hypolitus termasuk kedalam Appendiks CITES II. Spesies yang paling banyak dijumpai adalah Ideopsis juventa dan Pareronia tritae sarasinorum. Berdasarkan kriteria penilaian indeks keanekaragaman Shannon Wiener (H???), diperoleh tingkat keanaekaragaman jenis termasuk kriteria sedang, indeks keseragaman (E) termasuk kriteria stabil dan indeks dominansi Simpson (C) termasuk kriteria rendah. Disimpulkan bahwa kondisi komunitas kupu-kupu di Blok Hutan Kaikalu Kawasan Cagar Alam Kakenauwe Kabupaten Buton, relatif masih dalam keadaan stabil, dan tidak adanya spesies yang dominan
ANALISIS PENGARUH ION LOGAM Co(II) TERHADAP AKTIVITAS ANTIOKSIDAN ANTOSIANIN DARI EKSTRAK ETANOL KULIT JANTUNG PISANG AMBON (Musa paradisiaca L var. sapientum)
Penelitian mengenai pengaruh ion logam Co2+ terhadap aktivitas antioksidan antosianin dari ekstrak etanol kulit jantung pisang ambon (Musa paradisiaca L var. sapientum) telah dilakukan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menentukan kadar antosianin dari ekstrak etanol kulit jantung pisang ambon, aktivitas antioksidan antiosianin dari ekstrak etanol kulit jantung pisang ambon, dan pengaruh ion logam Co2+ terhadap aktivitas antioksidan antosianin dari ekstrak etanol kulit jantung pisang ambon. Pada penelitian ini uji identifikasi antosianin dilakukan menggunakan Uv-Vis dan FTIR, kadar antosianin ditentukan menggunakan metode perbedaan pH, dan uji aktivitas antioksidan menggunakan metode DPPH. Hasil yang diperoleh bahwa kadar antosianin dari ekstrak etanol kulit jantung pisang ambon yaitu sebesar 33,0808 mg/L. Penambahan ion logam Co2+ pada antosianin memiliki aktivitas antioksidan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan antosianin tanpa logam. Nilai IC50 antosianin yaitu sebesar 14,61 ??g/mL, kompleks Co-antosianinn pada konsentrasi 50 ppm dan 150 ppm memiliki nilai IC50 berturut-turut sebesar 3,92 ??g/mL dan 3,82 ??g/mL
Traditional Versus Modern Procedures of Village Head Election in Indonesia
This research focuses on the traditional versus modern methods in conducting the election of the head of a village in Indonesia. A village head has a major role in organizing and managing community interests. In participating in the election of the village head, a village head must deliver his the programs. One tool that can be utilized in delivering some programs is social media. Despite so, there are some village heads that use the traditional ways, which are commonly known as 'door to door' approach. The purpose of this study is to investigate traditional versus modern methods as a technique of village head in transmitting and spreading programs to people. The research design of this study is qualitative study. This research used interviewing method. This research was conducted in Makkawaru Village, Mattiro Bulu Subdistrict, Pinrang Regency, and South Sulawesi Province. -This study aims to describe and analyze the level of public service innovation field permits held by local governments at the district Pinrang, South-Sulawesi province of Indonesia. The approach used is a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches to case study research strategy. Informant is an element of local government, community leaders, and the user community. While the respondent is the user community and the experts/ expert. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tracking documents. Quantitative data analysis techniques using interval scale (Scale Likert) and processed using SPSS software, while the qualitative data analysis techniques using an interactive model which consists of four activities namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results showed that (1) Level of innovation of the eight dimensions of best practices; impact, sustainability partnerships, leadership, community development, transfer programs, local context, and gender equality as a whole to obtain an average value high.
