    Survey on Secure Data Aggregation using Clustering Methods in WSN

    Wireless Sensor Network is a group of specialized transducers with communication infrastructure for monitoring and recording conditions at diverse locations..It is constrained in terms of computation, communication,memoryand energy due to node failure, limited scalability and low battery power. Data aggregation is used to reduce communication overhead and energy expenditure in(WSNs). Data aggregation is a process of aggregating the sensor data using aggregation approaches. But the Data Aggregation techniques are prone to link and node failure, significant variation in readings and time consuming. In this survey, the cluster based data aggregation methods are discussed which overcome the issues in convectional data aggregation approaches. In clustering technique, a Cluster Head (CH) is selected which collects data from other sensor nodes in that cluster and forward aggregated data to the base station. Since cluster head is responsible for the aggregated data it is highly prone to malicious attacks. Therefore, different security frameworks which ensure data confidentiality and data integrity have also been surveyed

    Performance of Chemical Vapor Deposited ZnO thin film as thermal interface material on optical properties of LED

    Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) was used for the synthesis of ZnO thin film on Al substrates at various flow rates of O2 gas. ZnO thin film coated substrates were tested as thermal substrates on influencing the optical properties of high power LED at various operating currents. Spectrometer analysis showed that ZnO thin film prepared at 10 sccm O2 flow rate showed better performance by reducing the Color Correlated Temperature (CCT) at driving currents. CCT values were maintained with respect to driving currents by ZnO thin film interface at all driving currents than air interface (bare Al substrate). On luminous flux analysis, 5 sccm samples showed good performance on increasing the light of the give LED at all driving currents than bare Al boundary condition. The observed results were evidenced with help of particle size distribution analysis on all film surface using Nanoscope software. Overall, ZnO thin film deposited at low O2 flow rate would be an alternative to solid thin film interface material in electronic packaging applications

    In this paper image segmentation techniques have been explored which uses super pixel as intermediate step along with fuzzy clustering methods. Superpixel segmentation is the process of partitioning an image into multiple segments called superpixels, which are homogeneous as in pixels inside every portion are comparable concerning certain attributes, for example, shading and surface. This step connects between physical chemistry and electronic science which is also known as electrochemistry which is proved to be a tool which is clean, versatile and powerful for the development of new advanced methods for water purification. This electro-assisted process is used for water purification because it is unlike from the other well-built technologies. The pressure-driven membrane-based methods consists of process like microfiltration, reverse osmosis, biological treatment, ultra-filtration, treatment of water by means of various chemicals such as chlorine or ozone, and treatment with UV. As this method gives the freedom of choice in adjusting the electrode potential and electrode material to meet almost any demand it is extremely flexible and selective.     Characterisation of SiC reinforced aluminium matrix composites for engine cylinder liner application

    Aluminium matrix composites are finding increased applications in automotive industry due to its lightweight nature and improved mechanical and tribological properties. The present material used for Liners is Cast Iron. The tribological properties of CI are poor which leads to  friction losses leading to inefficiency of Engine. This paper focuses on preparation of SiC reinforced Aluminium 2024 matrix composite of Weight percentages of 2,4,6 and 8 respectively by Stir Casting followed by Heat treatment and testing the properties of Density, Tensile Strength, Hardness, Wear Resistance, Coefficient of friction and Thermal Conductivity. The experimental values from the test results are compared against Conventional Cast Iron. It is been observed that 8% reinforced Al- SiC performs better than Cast Iron in all the tests
