Disserta??o de Mestrado em Log?stica apresentada na Escola Superior de Ci?ncias Empresariais do Instituto Polit?cnico de Viana do CasteloA log?stica interna assume um papel fulcral no funcionamento da generalidade das unidades produtivas das empresas, seja atrav?s do fornecimento de materiais ?s linhas, seja atrav?s da organiza??o dos materiais em armaz?m. Todas essas atividades t?m, no seu conjunto, uma enorme import?ncia na produtividade da empresa. A partir da an?lise das atividades efetuadas no ?mbito da armazenagem e expedi??o, das caracter?sticas dos produtos armazenados e sua rota??o, dos movimentos entre o fluxo de produtos ou mercadorias e respetiva documenta??o, e tendo por base metodologias de melhoria, este relat?rio procura apresentar propostas de melhoria na organiza??o e arruma??o de um armaz?m de forma a otimizar os recursos dispon?veis. Na primeira parte s?o abordados temas como gest?o da cadeia de abastecimento, log?stica e armazenagem, uma vez que ? nestes que se foca a gest?o eficaz do armaz?m analisado. Nesse sentido, foram ainda abordados temas como a gest?o de stock e t?cnicas que permitam classificar a import?ncia dos itens, dado o universo de artigos que a empresa possui, nomeadamente a an?lise ABC ou de Pareto. ? ainda feita uma abordagem ?s metodologias Lean, Kaizen e 5S?s numa perspetiva de melhoria cont?nua e de t?cnicas que permitam a organiza??o do armaz?m. Numa segunda fase ? realizada a apresenta??o da empresa, desde a descri??o da sua hist?ria at? ? exposi??o do processo produtivo. A terceira fase do relat?rio consiste essencialmente na compreens?o e an?lise do funcionamento geral do armaz?m da empresa t?xtil em estudo, que permitiu posteriormente diagnosticar os principais problemas como a distribui??o incoerente das localiza??es, inexist?ncia de sinal?tica, presen?a de in?meros stocks obsoletos e excessiva sujidade nas instala??es f?sicas do armaz?m. Por fim, de forma a colmatar alguns dos principais problemas de falta de efici?ncia e organiza??o encontrados, s?o apresentadas algumas propostas de melhoria, tendo como por base a metodologia Kaizen, uma das ferramentas fundamentais do pensamento Lean, aliada ? metodologia dos 5S?s.Internal logistics play a central role in the functioning of most of the companies' production units, either through the supply of materials to the production lines or through the organization of the materials in the warehouse. All these activities have, on the whole, an enormous importance in the productivity of the company. Based on the analysis of the activities carried out in the area of storage and shipping, the characteristics of the products stored and their rotation, the movements between the flow of products or merchandise and their documentation, and based on improvement methodologies, this report seeks to present proposals for improvement in the organization and storage of the warehouse in order to optimize the available resources. In the first part are covered topics such as supply chain management, logistics and warehousing, since it is in these that focuses the effective management of the analyzed warehouse. In this sense, we also dealt with topics such as stock management and techniques to classify the importance of items, given the universe of articles that the company has, namely the ABC or Pareto analysis. An approach is also taken to Lean, Kaizen and 5S's methodologies in a perspective of continuous improvement and techniques that allow the organization of the warehouse. In a second phase the company is presented, from the description of its history to the exhibition of the production process. The third phase of the report consists essentially of an understanding and analysis of the general functioning of the textile company, which has subsequently been able to diagnose the main problems such as the illogical distribution of locations, lack of signage, numerous obsolete stocks and excessive dirt on the warehouse. Finally, in order to fill some of the main problems of lack of efficiency and organization found, some proposals for improvement are presented, based on the Kaizen methodology, one of the fundamental tools of Lean thinking, allied to the methodology of the 5S?s

Disserta??o de Mestrado em Marketing apresentada na Escola Superior de Ci?ncias Empresariais do Instituto Polit?cnico de Viana do CasteloO presente estudo centrou-se no caso espec?fico portugu?s e pretendeu compreender como ? que a comunica??o pode ser eficaz na angaria??o de jovens dadores de sangue, entre os 18 e 24 anos. Para tal visou responder ? seguinte quest?o de partida: qual o impacto das a??es de comunica??o na angaria??o de dadores de sangue jovens, entre os 18 e 24 anos, em Portugal? Para responder ? quest?o foram operacionalizados quatro objetivos espec?ficos: estudar o grau de conhecimento dos jovens nesta faixa et?ria sobre a d?diva de sangue; estudar e compreender a comunica??o que ? desenvolvida pelo IPST para promo??o ? d?diva de sangue; compreender motiva??es e barreiras para a d?diva de sangue; aferir estrat?gias e a??es de comunica??o eficazes na promo??o da d?diva de sangue. No cumprimento do primeiro objetivo espec?fico levou-se a cabo uma an?lise de conte?do de 14 campanhas de apelo ? doa??o de sangue. No segundo objetivo espec?fico realizou-se uma entrevista explorat?ria junto de um especialista do Instituto Portugu?s de Sangue e Transplanta??o. O terceiro objetivo espec?fico foi cumprido recorrendo ? aplica??o de inqu?rito por question?rio a 390 jovens, onde se concluiu que, mais de metade n?o s?o dadores de sangue. Ao n?vel da elabora??o de futuras campanhas, os resultados permitem sugerir a implementa??o de estrat?gias de segmenta??o mais efetivas e assentes em crit?rios comportamentais e um recurso ? comunica??o integrada de marketing mais generalizado.This study was focused on the specific Portuguese case and aimed to understand how communication can be effective in attracting young blood donors, between 18 and 24 years old. To this end, it was targeted to answer the starting question: what is the impact of communication actions on attracting young blood donors, between 18 and 24 years old, in Portugal? To be able to answer this headline, it was implemented four specific objectives: study the level of knowledge of young people between these ages about the blood donation; study and understand the communication that is developed by IPST to promote the blood donation; understand motivations and barriers to blood donation; check actions and strategies of effective communication in blood donation promotion. To reach the first objective, a content analysis was carried out on fourteen appeal campaigns to blood donation. In the second specific objective, an exploratory interview was made with the collaboration of a specialist from the Intituto Portugu?s de Sangue e Transplanta??o. The third objective was accomplished using a questionnaire survey to 390 young people, where it was concluded that, more than a half of the inquiries are not blood donors and don?t have intentions to be. In terms of developing future campaigns, the results allow to suggest implementation of segmentation strategies more effective and based on behavioral criteria adding more use of widespread integrated marketing communications

A terapia da dignidade: uma interven??o especializada no conforto da pessoa em situa??o paliativa

Relat?rio de Est?gio de Natureza Profissional no ?mbito do Mestrado em Enfermagem ? Pessoa em Situa??o Paliativa apresentada na Escola Superior de Sa?de do Instituto Polit?cnico de Viana do CasteloAo longo dos ?ltimos anos, temos assistido a um aumento da esperan?a m?dia de vida e o consequente envelhecimento populacional, aliados ao aumento da preval?ncia de doen?as cr?nicas. Isto leva-nos a refletir sobre o fim de vida, e sobre a necessidade de conforto e qualidade de vida at? ao ?ltimo momento. Portanto, emerge a necessidade de Cuidados Paliativos (CP), que t?m o objetivo o al?vio do sofrimento f?sico, psicol?gico, social e espiritual, com base na identifica??o precoce e no tratamento rigoroso da dor e outros sintomas f?sicos, mas tamb?m psicossociais e espirituais, das pessoas que s?o portadoras de uma doen?a incur?vel e/ou grave, progressiva e avan?ada assim como as suas fam?lias ou pessoas significativas. Neste sentido, dando continuidade ao processo de aprendizagem, optou-se por realizar o est?gio num servi?o de cuidados paliativos de um hospital central com o objetivo de desenvolver compet?ncias comuns e espec?ficas de enfermeiro especialista na ?rea da enfermagem ? pessoa em situa??o paliativa. O presente relat?rio do Est?gio de Natureza Profissional contempla a descri??o e an?lise critico-reflexiva das atividades realizadas e as compet?ncias adquiridas ao longo do mesmo. Para dar resposta aos objetivos propostos, das atividades desenvolvidas destacam-se o estudo de investiga??o, que se debru?ou sobre a dimens?o espiritual, ?concretamente sobre a Terapia da Dignidade (TD) no doente em cuidados paliativos. Neste sentido realizou-se uma scoping review, com o objetivo de mapear os efeitos da terapia da dignidade em doentes em cuidados paliativos. Os principais resultados mostram que esta terapia produz efeitos ben?ficos a n?vel espiritual, psi-emocional, f?sico, social e da pr?pria qualidade de vida. Com este estudo percebeu-se que a TD tem efeitos bastante positivos no al?vio do sofrimento do doente em situa??o de fim de vida pelo que pode ser considerada uma estrat?gia ?til no ?mbito dos cuidados paliativos tornando-os em cuidados cada vez mais dignos, humanizados e com um olhar hol?stico sobre o doente e a fam?lia. A n?vel do desenvolvimento de compet?ncias comuns, nomeadamente nas compet?ncias de gest?o e forma??o, destacam-se nas atividades realizadas a elabora??o de uma ?Proposta de Protocolo de Apoio no Luto?, e ainda ? realiza??o de duas forma??es ?Dignidade em Fim de Vida? e ?Apoio no Luto? dando resposta as necessidades da equipa e do servi?o onde foi realizado o est?gio. A n?vel do desenvolvimento de compet?ncias espec?ficas, as atividades assentaram nas dimens?es essenciais dos CP, nomeadamente: gest?o de sintomas; comunica??o; trabalho em equipa, apoio ? fam?lia e apoio no luto, respeitando os princ?pios ?ticos, deontol?gicos e legais. Concluindo, verifica-se a necessidade de continuar a concetualizar e desenvolver cuidados paliativos especializados, nomeadamente pelo enfermeiro especialista em enfermagem ? pessoa em situa??o paliativa, atrav?s da inclus?o de estrat?gias sustentadas na melhor evid?ncia, tais como a terapia da dignidade, e assim, proporcionar cuidados mais dignos ao doente e fam?lia, com o prop?sito de os ajudar a um melhor entendimento das formas de al?vio de sofrimento na sua fase final de vida.Over the last few years, we have witnessed an increase in life expectancy and the subsequent aging of the population, along with the rise in the prevalence of chronic diseases. This leads us to reflect on the end of life and the need for comfort and quality of life until the last moment. Thus, the need for palliative care arises. Palliative care?s goal is the relief of physical pain, psychological, social and spiritual suffering for people diagnosed with an incurable and/or severe, progressive and advanced disease and their families or close friends. To achieve this, it uses early identification and rigorous treatment of pain and other physical, psychosocial and spiritual symptoms. In this sense, continuing the learning process, it was chosen to carry out the internship in a palliative care service at a central hospital aiming to develop common and specific specialist nurse skills in the field of nursing for individuals in palliative situations. This Professional Nature Internship report includes the description and critical-reflexive analysis of the activities carried out and the competencies acquired throughout the internship. To address the proposed objectives, among the activities carried out, the research study is highlighted, which focused on the spiritual dimension - specifically on Dignity Therapy (DT) in palliative care patients. In this regard, a scoping review was conducted aiming to map the effects of Dignity Therapy (DT) on patients in palliative care. The main findings show that this therapy has beneficial effects on the spiritual, psychosocial, physical, social, and overall quality of life aspects. Through this study, it was understood that DT has highly positive effects in relieving the suffering of patients in end-of-life situations, making it a valuable strategy within palliative care, which contributes to providing increasingly dignified, humanized care, with a holistic approach to the patient and their family. Regarding the development of common competencies, namely in management and training skills, the activities undertaken included the creation of a "Proposal for a Bereavement Support Protocol." Additionally, two training sessions were conducted on "Dignity at the End of Life" and "Bereavement Support," addressing the needs of the team and the service where the internship took place. Regarding the development of specific competencies, the activities focused on the essential dimensions of palliative care, including symptom management, communication, teamwork, family support, and bereavement support, adhering to ethical, deontological, and legal principles. In conclusion, there is a need to continue conceptualizing and developing specialized palliative care, particularly by the nurses specialized in nursing for individuals in palliative situations, through the incorporation of evidence-based strategies, such as dignity therapy, to provide more dignified care for patients and their families, aiming to help them better understand ways to alleviate suffering in their end-of-life phase

Ades?o dos enfermeiros aos equipamentos de prote??o individual numa Unidade de Cuidados Intensivos: um imperativo em cuidados especializados

Relat?rio de Est?gio de Natureza Profissional no ?mbito do Mestrado em Enfermagem M?dico-Cir?rgica apresentada na Escola Superior de Sa?de do Instituto Polit?cnico de Viana do CasteloAs Unidades de Cuidados Intensivos assumem-se como um local qualificado para a presta??o de cuidados integrais ? pessoa com fal?ncia m?ltipla de ?rg?os. Estas unidades disponibilizam meios diferenciados de monitoriza??o e protocolos terap?uticos ao doente cr?tico. Um dos seus desafios ? o desenvolvimento de cuidados seguros, dado que s?o os servi?os hospitalares com maior preval?ncia de Infe??es Associadas aos Cuidados de Sa?de. Fortalecer as pr?ticas de preven??o e controle de infe??o e implementar a gest?o antimicrobiana s?o medidas essenciais para a sua diminui??o, bem como evitar a dissemina??o de resist?ncia antimicrobiana. Preocupa??es com estas quest?es, aliadas ao facto de exercer fun??es em cuidados intensivos h? longa data, nortearam as decis?es quanto ? continuidade do processo de ensino/aprendizagem. Assim, optou-se por realizar um est?gio de natureza profissional numa unidade de cuidados intensivos de um hospital do norte de Portugal, com o objetivo de desenvolver compet?ncias especializadas em enfermagem m?dico-cir?rgica na ?rea de enfermagem ? pessoa em situa??o cr?tica. A execu??o do relat?rio assenta na apresenta??o de uma reflex?o cr?tica e anal?tica do processo de aquisi??o das compet?ncias. Para tal, foram mobilizadas metodologias ativas, participativas, sustentadas nos referenciais te?ricos e na melhor evid?ncia dispon?vel. No ?mbito das in?meras atividades desenvolvidas, realizou-se um estudo relativo ? ades?o dos enfermeiros ao uso de equipamento de prote??o individual face ? tipologia de isolamento, estabelecido na referida unidade. Tratou-se de um estudo descritivo correlacional com uma amostra de 41 enfermeiros. Os principais resultados mostram que a ades?o dos enfermeiros aos equipamentos de prote??o individual variou conforme a tipologia de isolamento. Relativamente ao isolamento de prote??o a ades?o foi de 100%, ao isolamento a?reo foi de 95,3% e ao isolamento de contacto foi de 68.8%. Assim, conclui-se que ? imperativo que as institui??es continuem a investir em estrat?gias de ades?o ao uso destes equipamentos. No que concerne ao desenvolvimento de compet?ncias, destacam-se as da ?rea de enfermagem ? pessoa em situa??o cr?tica. N?o descurando nenhuma, deu-se especial relevo ? preven??o e controlo da infe??o e resist?ncia a antimicrobianos, perante a complexidade da situa??o e imperatividade de respostas adequadas e atempadas. Em suma, o enfermeiro especialista em m?dico-cir?rgica ? detentor de compet?ncias que lhe permite uma interven??o t?cnico-cient?fica, ?tica e humana.Intensive Care Units are considered a qualified place to provide integral healthcare to people suffering from multiple organ failure. These specialised units supply different types of monitoring and protocols to critical patients. One of the main challenges is the development of safe care, given that they?re the hospital services with the highest prevalence of healthcare associated infections. Strengthening prevention and infection control practices as well as implementing antimicrobial protocols are essential measures for decreasing and also to avoid the spread of antimicrobial resistance. Concerning with these questions and associated to the years of experience with critical care patients, it was decided to follow this theme regarding the continuity of my learning process. This being said, it was opted to do a clinical pratice, as a subject of my master degree, in an intensive care unit in a hospital in the north of Portugal, with the goal of developing specialized skills in medical-surgical nursing for people in critical situations. The execution of this report lays on presenting a critical and analytical reflection of the competences skills acquire. To do this, active and participative methods were deployed, sustained in theoretical references and in the best evidence possible. Within the scope of the multiple activities developed, a study about the adherence of nurses to the use of individual protective equipment given the type of isolation established in that unit was accomplished. It consisted on a descriptive and correctional study with a sample size of 41 nurses. The main results showed that the adherence of the nurses to the individual protective equipment varied considering the type of isolation. Relatively to protective isolation, the adherence was 100%, in the respiratory isolation was 95.3% and contact isolation was 68.8%. With this information, it was conclude that it?s imperative that institutions continue to invest in strategies to endorse the adhesion to the use of this equipment. Regarding the development of competences, it was highlighted the areas focused in the care to people in critical condition. While not neglecting any of them, the prevention and infection control as also as the antimicrobial resistance before the complexity of the situation and the imperativeness to adequate and timely response, were enphasised in this essay. In conclusion, a nurse specialized in medical-surgical nursing is the holder of many skills that allows to have a technical-scientifical, ethical and humane approach

Relat?rio de est?gio apresentado para obten??o do grau de Mestre em Atividades de Fitness na Escola Superior de Desporto e Lazer, do Instituto Polit?cnico de Viana do CasteloO est?gio curricular foi desenvolvido no gin?sio Fisicamente Health Club localizado em Coimbra, por apresentar as condi??es necess?rias ? pr?tica de exerc?cio f?sico, pelas aulas de grupo apresentadas e pela disponibilidade que a administra??o demonstrou em receber-me e em explicar-me como se iria desenvolver o est?gio. Este encontra-se aberto h? cerca de 8 anos tendo sido desenvolvido um dia diferente na data do teu anivers?rio. Foi poss?vel desempenhar algumas fun??es autonomamente no final do est?gio, ap?s ter passado por v?rias avalia??es e forma??es, como acompanhamento de sala, avalia??es f?sicas, aulas grupo (indoor cycling, strong by zumba, localizada, fisic xtreme, circuito e fisic ball). Este serviu para vivenciar e por em pr?tica tudo o que aprendi na teoria, podendo complementar o meu conhecimento te?rico com as experi?ncias vividas na pr?tica. No decorrer do est?gio participei em v?rias aulas, tendo uma delas suscitado a minha curiosidade, a modalidade de zumba, relativamente ?s exig?ncias f?sicas que esta fazia sentir no decorrer da mesma. Pode concluir atrav?s da caracteriza??o do tipo de aula e dos estudos que foram realizados, que quem pratica esta modalidade ser? fisicamente mais saud?veis trazendo-lhe vantagens, pois n?o s? ajuda a melhorar a sua aptid?o f?sica, como tamb?m ajuda a melhorar o seu sistema cardiovascular e proporciona o aumento da perda de peso. O relat?rio final ? o resultado de um ano de experi?ncias vividas, tornando-me numa instrutora de fitness com mais experi?ncia e conhecimentos adquiridos. Considero que aprendi muito e superei todas as minhas expectativas relativamente as experiencias vividas. Preparou-me para o mundo do trabalho ganhando consci?ncia de que os gin?sios evolu?ram muito desde os seus prim?rdios e que existe bastantes amea?adas pela quantidade de instrutores formados e com grandes conhecimentos na ?rea. Este relat?rio serve para analisar a minha presta??o enquanto estagi?ria e ajudar-me a reflectir sobre o futuro pr?spero.The curricular internship was developed at the Gymnasium Fisicamente Health Club in Coimbra, for presenting the necessary conditions for physical exercises, for the group classes and for the availability that the administration showed in receiving me and explaining to me how the internship would be developed. This one has been open for 8 years and has been developed a different day on the anniversary date. After various assessments and trainings, such as room monitoring, physical assessments, group lessons (indoor cycling, strong by Zumba, localized, fisic extreme, circuit e fisic ball), you can perform at the end of the stages some functions autonomously. This served to experience and put into practice everything I learned in theory, and I can additionally my theoretical knowledge with the experiences lived in practice. During the internship I participated in several classes, one of them aroused my curiosity, the modality of Zumba, due to the physical demands it made during the class. In the end, through the characterization of the type of class and of the studies, those who practice this modality will be physically healthier, bringing various advantages, as it not only helps to improve their physical fitness, but also helps to improve their cardiovascular system , as it helps in increasing weight loss. The final report is the result of a year lived experiences, making me a fitness instructor with more experience and acquired knowledge. I have learned a lot and exceeded all my expectations regarding the practical experiences. It has prepared me for the world of work in the gyms that it have evolved a lot since its beginnings. Animals in biomedical research : towards a more compassionate approach

The development of novel biosensors and other medical devices often implies extensive animal testing before the final phases of product development are reached. Most products do not reach the market. On the other hand, natural disease in companion animals often mirrors disease processes in humans, being a more accurate representation of the complexity of disease processes than laboratory animals. These are poor models of genetic variability, environmental exposure influence and often, pathophysiology. Potenciar o design de produtos com mat?ria org?nica proveniente de desperd?cios da ind?stria alimentar

Mestrado em Design Integrado na Escola Superior de Tecnologia e Gest?o do Instituto Polit?cnico de Viana do CasteloEste estudo analisa o papel do designer como ve?culo de sensibiliza??o social, no ?mbito do reaproveitamento de desperd?cios gerados pela ind?stria da carne, investigando os processos de gera??o desses desperd?cios e os seus diferentes destinos. No que diz respeito ? reutiliza??o, o presente estudo abordou os processos naturais associados ? prepara??o e manipula??o de intestino bovino de forma a poder ser utilizado em produtos n?o comest?veis. No ?mbito do design ? poss?vel utilizar estrat?gias inovadoras que ajudam a criar um ecossistema c?clico integrado, de forma a obter produtos, cujo intuito ? facilitar o processo de reutiliza??o de uma forma sustentada e com baixo impacto ambiental. ? neste contexto que o designer interv?m como agente inovador, capaz de criar novos usos, de forma a contribuir para a resolu??o de um dos atuais problemas ambientais: o elevado e ca?tico lixo de material pl?stico que tem transformado, ecossistemas e provocado enormes desequil?brios ambientais. Com este estudo foi poss?vel demostrar que o design pode ser usado como catalisador para uma mudan?a efetiva do problema ambiental, substituindo material pl?stico tradicionalmente usado nessa tipologia de produtos, por mat?ria org?nica com propriedades ?nicas.This study analyzes the role of the designer as a vehicle for social awareness, in the context of the reuse of waste generated by the meat industry, investigating the processes of generation of such waste and its different destinations. With regard to reuse, the present study addressed the natural processes associated with the preparation and handling of bovine intestines in order to be used in non-edible products. In the scope of design, it is possible to use innovative strategies that help to create an integrated cyclical ecosystem, in order to obtain products, whose aim is to facilitate the process of reuse in a sustainable manner and with low environmental impact. It is in this context that the designer intervenes as an innovative agent, capable of creating new uses, in order to contribute to the resolution of one of the current environmental problems: the high and chaotic garbage of plastic material that has transformed ecosystems and caused huge environmental imbalances. In a first phase, the importance and the need to change the approach to the paradigm related to extractive materials was investigated, and information on organic materials was gathered, in a context of circular economy. In a second part it was studied, the physical chemical behavior of the bovine intestine in the laboratory and in conformation tests for different products. of the IPVC-ESTG and the second making several prototypes. In the third phase, organic matter was applied to the development of a lighting product taken to the prototype phase. With this study it was possible to demonstrate that design can be used as a catalyst for an effective change of the environmental problem, replacing plastic material traditionally used in this type of products with organic matter with unique properties

In silico validation of personalized safe intervals for carbohydrate counting errors

For patients with Type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM), accurate carbohydrate counting (CC) is essential for successful blood glucose regulation. Unfortunately, mistakes are common and may lead to an incorrect dosage of prandial insulin. In this work, we aim to demonstrate that each person has their own limits for CC errors, which can be computed using patient-specific data. To validate the proposed method, we tested it using several scenarios to investigate the effect of different CC errors on postprandial blood glucose. Virtual subjects from the T1DM Simulator were used in a clinical trial involving 450 meals over 90 days, all following the same daily meal plan but with different intervals for CC errors near, below, and above the limit computed for each patient. The results show that CC errors within personalized limits led to acceptable postprandial glycemic fluctuations. In contrast, experiments where 50% and 97.5% of the meals present a CC error outside the computed safe interval revealed a pronounced degradation of the time in range. A n?vel econ?mico os benef?cios para certas regi?es s?o incompar?veis com qualquer outra atividade, sobretudo na cria??o de postos de trabalho e no aumento de receitas, fruto do turismo nacional, mas sobretudo internacional. No entanto, ? imposs?vel deixar de referir os impactos negativos que uma m? gest?o da atividade tur?stica tem vindo a desenvolver na sociedade, presentes na perda de identidade de certas regi?es, no trabalho prec?rio, no aumento dos pre?os das habita??es, aumento das desigualdades sociais, entre outras e, sobretudo na natureza, com a utiliza??o irrespons?vel de recursos naturais, a destrui??o de habitats, v?rios tipos de polui??o, etc. Nesta linha de orienta??o o objetivo principal deste projeto ? criar uma empresa de atividades de natureza, a NaturTirso, que em simbiose com a cultura local do concelho de Santo Tirso, utilizar? a comunidade local, como forma de potenciar toda a riqueza natural e/ou cultural do territ?rio, aumentado a sua visibilidade e acess?vel para todos. Ap?s a realiza??o de um estudo de mercado e da avalia??o do potencial natural e cultural do concelho, foi estabelecido um modelo de neg?cio adaptado ? realidade do territ?rio selecionado e onde se desenrolar?o grande parte das atividades, assim como um plano de marketing direcionado aos objetivos comerciais da empresa. Assim sendo, a empresa ter? no seu leque de atividades o canyoning, escalada, rapel e slide, trilhos pedestres guiados, passeios e aluguer de E-Bikes assim como rotas tem?ticas onde com a ajuda de um guia ter?o a oportunidade de explorar a hist?ria do concelho e o seu patrim?nio material e imaterial. Por ?ltimo e como forma de estudar o verdadeiro potencial de todo o projeto, foi elaborada uma avalia??o financeira onde est?o contemplados os custos adjacentes ? cria??o da empresa, assim como uma simula??o de vendas das atividades promovidas com a consequente avalia??o dos resultados obtidos.It is an undeniable fact that tourism has been playing an increasingly vital role in the national economy and that, moreover, its economic, social and environmental impacts gradually mark our society. In economic terms, the benefits for certain regions are incomparable with any other activity, especially in the creation of jobs and in the increase of revenues, the result of national, but especially international tourism. However, it is impossible to fail to mention the negative impacts that poor management of tourism activity has been developing in society, present in the loss of identity of certain regions, precarious work, rising housing prices, increasing social inequalities, among others and especially in nature, with the irresponsible use of natural resources, the destruction of habitats, various types of pollution, etc. To promote a greener tourist practice, it is necessary to enable forms of activity planning according to sustainable standards, in order to reduce its negative impacts, opening doors to the inclusion of nature and society. In this guideline the main objective of this project is to create a company of nature activities, NaturTirso, which in symbiosis with the local culture of the municipality of Santo Tirso, will use the local community, as a way to enhance all the natural and/or cultural wealth of the territory, increasing its visibility and accessible to all. After conducting a market study and evaluating the natural and cultural potential of the municipality, a business model was established adapted to the reality of the selected territory and where most of the activities will take place, as well as a marketing plan directed to the company?s commercial objectives. Therefore, the company will have in its range of activities canyoning, climbing, abseiling and slide, guided walking trails, tours and rent of E-Bikes as well as thematic routes where with the help of a guide you will have the opportunity to explore the history of the county and its material and intangible heritage. Finally, and to study the true potential of the whole project, a financial assessment was prepared which includes the costs adjacent to the creation of the company, sales simulation of the activities promoted with the consequent evaluation of the results obtained
