    Get PDF
Solar energy has managed to establish itself as one of the most promising and sustainable alternatives when it comes to addressing the different energy challenges at a global level, especially in developing countries, which do not have a good energy system since their electricity grids can present drawbacks. Currently, in Ecuador, periodic power outages affect both residential and educational areas, making daily activities and the development of academic projects difficult. This phenomenon is very notorious in the province of Manabí, specifically in the Technical University of Manabí, which has frequent interruptions of the electricity supply, which affects its normal operation. The aim is to propose the installation of a photovoltaic system, which is responsible for transforming solar energy into electricity, thus being a sustainable solution that, in addition to helping to reduce dependence on the conventional electricity grid, would also contribute to the transition to renewable and clean energy sources. The result was that the installation of photovoltaic systems at the Technical University of Manabí is a viable solution to counteract recurrent blackouts and move towards greater energy sustainability

Appropriate management of perceived price, word-of-mouth (WOM), and tourist satisfaction overall the destination image must be ensured, ultimately influencing tourists’ behaviour. This research looks at the impact of perceived price, word-of-mouth (WOM), and tourist satisfaction on the destination image of Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh, and their subsequent effects on tourist behaviour in the marine destination. Using a quantitative approach and focusing on young, educated, and budget-conscious travelers, data was collected from 426 respondents through structured surveys. The connections among the constructs were evaluated using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The result reveals that perceived price and word of Mouth (WOM) tourist satisfaction significantly influence Cox's Bazar's destination image and mediates their effect on tourist behaviour. It provides useful insights for all stakeholders, especially tourism marketers by pointing to tourist satisfaction to promote goodwill to maintain the sustainability and competitiveness of maritime tourist destinations

Development of operational standards procedures for maintenance and maintenance of public railway infrastructure infrastructure and electrical mechanical and architectural components in Wbs-based station buildings to improve maintenance and maintenance performance

    Get PDF
A railway station is a place of departure and stoppage for trains. Poor, inappropriate maintenance and upkeep of infrastructure without strict supervision can result in physical damage to the infrastructure itself, thus losing its initial value and reducing the service life of the infrastructure. If the maintenance and upkeep of infrastructure in the transportation sector is not done properly, it can cause delays or, in the worst case, accidents. To ensure a high level of reliability and availability, the implementation of an effective maintenance program is very important. This is then clarified if poor maintenance and upkeep practices, such as in the transportation sector, can also affect the reliability of the transportation system and even cause life-threatening accidents. Damage or accidents that occur can also lower the company's image and customer or consumer trust. This research aims to develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for maintenance and upkeep work on station buildings, architectural components, and mechanical electrical. The method used is based on a Literature Study, survey, and case study. The result of this research is the development of SOP maintenance and upkeep work on architectural components and mechanical electrical to improve maintenance performance
