This study aims to examine the role of talent management in improving public services in Desa Sumbulu, Nias Selatan. Using a qualitative approach, this research employed in-depth interviews and document analysis to collect data from 20 village apparatus. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify patterns and themes related to talent management practices. The findings suggest that effective talent management practices, including training and development, performance management, career development, and leadership development, are crucial in enhancing the skills and competencies of village apparatus, leading to improved public services. The study contributes to the development of village governments in Indonesia by highlighting the importance of investing in human resources to improve public services

Pengelola Eco Camp Mangunkarsa di Grigak, Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta, menghadapi permasalahan utama terkait dengan pengelolaan keuangan, yang mencakup pemantauan pendapatan dan pengeluaran, perencanaan anggaran yang cermat, serta identifikasi sumber pendanaan alternatif untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut. Hal ini terjadi akibat kurangnya sistematisasi dan pelacakan yang tepat terhadap pengeluaran dan pendapatan. Permasalahan ini muncul karena minimnya pengetahuan dan kemampuan dalam melakukan pencatatan transaksi serta penyusunan laporan keuangan. Untuk itu, dilakukan pendekatan melalui pelatihan berbentuk workshop pembuatan laporan keuangan, yang dilanjutkan dengan pemantauan. Pelatihan yang diberikan berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan pengelola dalam mencatat transaksi keuangan dan menyusun laporan keuangan. Program ini juga mengungkap tantangan yang dihadapi, seperti keterbatasan sumber daya, yang memerlukan pendekatan adaptif dan partisipatif dari mitra

Impulsive Buying Behavior in Live-Streaming Shopping Mechanism: Do Fear of Missing Out Matter?

The aim of this study is to examine the factors influencing young consumers' impulsive buying behavior during TikTok Shop live-streaming flash sales, focusing on the effects of scarcity, discounts during live-streaming sales (DOLS), and fear of missing out (FoMO). The research targets Generation Y and Z, known for their high engagement with digital platforms. Using the Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) theory, the study explores how these factors interact to drive impulsive purchases. Data were collected from 295 respondents via an online survey and analyzed using SEM-PLS method to assess the relationships between the variables. The results indicate that both scarcity and DOLS significantly heighten FoMO, which acts as a psychological trigger for impulsive buying behavior. FoMO mediates the effect of scarcity and discounts on impulsive purchases, where scarcity creates urgency by limiting product availability, and DOLS entice consumers with time-sensitive deals. Additionally, the interactive nature of live-streaming enhances these effects by enabling real-time engagement with sellers. This study underscores the psychological impact of FoMO in live-stream shopping and provides valuable insights for marketers seeking to optimize social commerce strategies on platforms like TikTok

Studi ini meneliti peran soundtrack dalam membangun brand recognition untuk film "How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies." Selain memperkuat narasi dan kedalaman emosional film, soundtrack memainkan peran penting dalam menciptakan identitas auditif yang khas, yang membantu film ini menonjol di pasar yang padat. Dengan memadukan elemen musik tradisional Thailand dengan lanskap suara modern, musik dalam film ini berhasil beresonansi dengan audiens lokal maupun internasional, menciptakan koneksi budaya dan emosional yang kuat. Analisis ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana motif musikal tertentu dalam soundtrack menjadi simbol bagi film tersebut, berkontribusi pada pengakuan dan daya tariknya secara lebih luas. Eksplorasi academic hardiness pada mahasiswa

Academic hardiness is a personality trait where people can suppress the negative effect of academic pressure and perceive academic pressure as a challenge. Academic hardiness is important to students because it can help them through college. This study aims to describe different levels of academic hardiness in various backgrounds such as students who does part time, student who works, graduate students, and difference between academic hardiness in woman and man. This study uses literature with narrative review as a design. The result of this study mainly show that students tend to have high academic hardiness. Academic hardiness is an importantthing to student as it will help them to see assignments as something challenging that needs to be finished.Academic hardiness merupakan tipe kepribadian dimana individu dapat menahan efek negatif yangmuncul akibat tekanan akademik, individu dengan academic hardiness akan memandang tekanan akademiksebagai sebuah tantangan yang ingin dilakukan. The Effect Of Remuneration System, Work Environment and Employee Characteristics On Employee Performance

The automotive business is a growing business in Indonesia, especially in workshops and shops selling vehicle spare parts. Apart from requiring large amounts of capital and merchandise, employment also plays a very important role in the automotive business. This research aims to test and analyze the influence of the remuneration system, work environment and employee characteristics on employee performance through job satisfaction. The population of this study was 80 employees of PT Jaya Utama Bearings. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. So the number of samples obtained for this research was 68 samples, namely employees of PT Jaya Utama Bearings with staff positions and who were permanent employees. The data collection technique uses a Google Form questionnaire. This research is quantitative research using the SEM-PLS method through the Smart-PLS 4 application. The The Effect of Transformational Leadership Style on Organizational Citizenship Behavior Through Leader-Member Exchange as a Mediator Variable and Dependence on the Leader as a Moderator Variable in Music Performances : A Study on Student Project Performing Art and Sport Management Ciputra University

This study investigates six key relationships in the context of music performances: (1) the impact of transformational leadership style on leader-member exchange (LMX), (2) the impact of transformational leadership on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), (3) the influence of LMX on OCB, (4) the mediating role of LMX in the relationship between transformational leadership and OCB, (5) the moderating effect of dependence on the leader in the relationship between transformational leadership and OCB, and (6) the moderating effect of dependence on the leader in the relationship between LMX and OCB. The population comprises 127 committee members from the virtual music concert One Voice for All, the musical drama Merpati Putih, and UC Summerfest 2022 (International Business Management Program, Faculty of Management and Business, Ciputra University). Data were collected through validated and reliable questionnaires and analyzed using SEM-PLS, including path coefficients, indirect effects, and F-square moderation tests. The findings show: (1) transformational leadership significantly and positively affects LMX, (2) transformational leadership significantly and positively affects OCB, (3) LMX significantly and positively affects OCB, (4) LMX significantly mediates the effect of transformational leadership on OCB, (5) dependence on the leader weakens and does not significantly moderate the effect of transformational leadership on OCB, and (6) dependence on the leader strengthens but does not significantly moderate the effect of LMX on OCB

PEMANFAATAN LIMBAH DENIM UNTUK PERANCANGAN STREETWEAR WANITA MENGGUNAKAN TEKNIK INTERLOCKING MODULAR DAN LASER CUT

The fashion industry, particularly the denim sector, is experiencing rapid growth in Indonesia but also causes significant environmental problems due to poorly managed production waste. This research aims to reduce environmental pollution by utilizing denim waste through interlocking modular and laser cut techniques in the design of women's streetwear. The interlocking modular technique allows the combination of denim fabric modules into strong and aesthetically pleasing structures, while laser cutting is used to precisely cut decorative motifs. This method is developed based on techniques previously applied by Eunsuk Hur. This study employs a qualitative method through interviews with six experts and twelve extreme users, along with observations, literature reviews, journals, and articles. The results indicate that the combination of interlocking modular and laser cut techniques can produce visually appealing women's streetwear collections while reducing fashion industry waste. In the initial stages, denim modules used in the interlocking modular technique were not lined with interfacing, making them prone to damage even after using the laser cut technique. The study found that adding interfacing is crucial to prevent fiber damage. Denim, being a material that is quite challenging to process using the interlocking modular technique, requires in-depth experimentation to adjust methods to achieve the desired aesthetic and functional outcomes. Overall, this research provides valuable insights into experimental approaches in sustainable fashion design. By continuously experimenting and involving users in the development process, it is hoped that this innovation can inspire the local fashion industry to be more mindful of denim waste utilization and support environmental sustainability

PENGARUH PENGEMBANGAN SUMBER DAYA MANUSIA TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengembangan sumber daya manusia terhadap kinerja pegawai di Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Nganjuk. Pengembangan sumber daya manusia, yang mencakup pelatihan, pendidikan, dan program pengembangan karir, memainkan peran krusial dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan efektivitas pegawai di sektor pemerintahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei untuk mengumpulkan data dari pegawai di Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Nganjuk. Kuesioner yang digunakan dirancang untuk mengukur berbagai aspek pengembangan SDM serta dampaknya terhadap kinerja pegawai, yang meliputi produktivitas, kualitas pelayanan publik, dan kepuasan kerja.Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik untuk mengevaluasi hubungan antara program pengembangan SDM dan peningkatan kinerja pegawai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara pengembangan sumber daya manusia dan peningkatan kinerja pegawai. Pegawai yang terlibat dalam program pelatihan dan pengembangan yang efektif menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam keterampilan kerja, motivasi, dan kualitas output, yang berdampak pada peningkatan kinerja keseluruhan di lingkungan kerja mereka.Temuan penelitian ini memberikan wawasan penting bagi manajemen Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Nganjuk mengenai efektivitas program pengembangan SDM. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa investasi dalam pengembangan SDM tidak hanya meningkatkan kompetensi dan kepuasan pegawai tetapi juga berkontribusi pada peningkatan kinerja institusi secara keseluruhan. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Nganjuk terus mengoptimalkan program pengembangan SDM sebagai strategi untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan publik dan mencapai efisiensi administratif yang lebih baik

Membedah Semiotika dalam Iklan: Pendekatan Roland Barthes pada Iklan IM3 “Dekatkan Jarak, Nyatakan Silaturahmi“

The IM3 advertisement version of “Closer the distance, Declare the friendship” reveals certain connotations that can be in daily expressions and behaviors. The purpose of this research is to analyze the signs in the advertisement using Roland Barthes' semiotic approach. The method used is qualitative with the main data in the form of video advertisements downloaded from the official IM3 channel on YouTube. The results of the analysis showed that the visual and verbal elements in the advertisement successfully conveyed a message about the importance of communication and family closeness despite generational differences. The implication of this research is that the semiotic approach can enrich the understanding of communication strategies in advertising and can be used to improve the impact of advertising campaigns in the future
