    Key Factors for Achieving Green Competitive Advantage through the Mediation of Green Innovation in Addressing Environmental Concerns

    Environmental degradation has significantly intensified, raising global concerns, particularly in Indonesia. This issue impacts micro-businesses as consumers become increasingly environmentally conscious, especially in Surabaya. In response, businesses are adopting green innovations to meet market demands and gain a competitive advantage in sustainability. This study aims to identify the key factors for achieving a green competitive advantage through green innovations, which mediate the relationship between external environmental orientation and green dynamic capabilities. The method of this study is a quantitative methodology, utilizing a 6-point Likert scale online questionnaire for data collection. The sample comprises 142 green micro-businesses in the Surabaya region, selected using purposive sampling. Data are analyzed using SmartPLS software. The results indicate significant direct relationships between external environmental orientation, green dynamic capabilities, and green competitive advantage. Additionally, external environmental orientation and green dynamic capabilities significantly influence green innovation. The results also highlight indirect relationships between the independent variables and green competitive advantage, with green innovation partially mediating the proposed model

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran reputasi KAP dalam memoderasi pengaruh profitabilitas, leverage, ukuran perusahaan, dan komite audit terhadap audit delay. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan tujuan menguji hipotetesis berdasarkan populasi atau sampel penelitian tertentu dimana data dikumpulkan melalui instrument penelitian serta analisis data bersifat kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu perusahaan sektor consumer cyclicals yang terdaftar di BEI tahun 2022 yang berjumlah 142 perusahaan. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan sampel yang didapatkan sebanyak 71 perusahaan. Pengujian dan analisis data dilakukan dengan model regresi linier berganda dan moderated regression analysis (MRA). Diperoleh hasil penelitian bahwa profitabilitas berpengaruh  signifikan terhadap audit delay, leverage berpengaruh signifikan terhadap audit delay, ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap audit delay, komite audit tidak berpengaruh terhadap audit delay, reputasi KAP tidak mampu memoderasi pengaruh profitabilitas terhadap audit delay, reputasi KAP tidak mampu memoderasi pengaruh leverage terhadap audit delay, reputasi KAP tidak mampu memoderasi pengaruh ukuran perusahaan terhadap audit delay, dan reputasi KAP tidak mampu memoderasi pengaruh komite audit terhadap audit delay.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran reputasi KAP dalam memoderasi pengaruh profitabilitas, leverage, ukuran perusahaan, dan komite audit terhadap audit delay.     Human-wildlife conflict in Chiredzi Gonarezhou National Park: Conflict to coexistence

    The successful conservation of wildlife and the well-being of communities living adjacent to protected areas largely depends on the extent to which the communities and wildlife themselves can coexist. Where coexistence fails, human-wildlife conflicts (HWC) arise. Almost every country in the world faces some form of HWC, and highly biodiversity, developing countries like Zimbabwe particularly struggle with this issue. The purpose of this study was to provide the detailed information on the status, nature and dynamics of HWC, how it is experienced and how communities living in and adjacent to HWC hotspots around Gonarezhou are affected. Knowledge gained from this study will inform the design and implementation of a suite of strategies and interventions in HWC mitigation. This study was conducted in eight wards with HWC hotspots around Gonarezhou in Zimbabwe Zimbabwe in particular Chitsa, Chibwedziva, Twanani, Batanai, Chichingwe, Xibhavahlengwe, Sengwe and Xini. The local communities in these study sites live alongside and share their space with wildlife. A mixed methods approach was used to conduct this study, which involved the use of quantitative and qualitative data collection techniques. The quantitative data collection involved the use of structured household questionnaires, and a total of 560 households were interviewed across the study sites. The qualitative data collection techniques involved discussions with 28 focus groups and 12 interviews with key informants across the eight study sites. Results from household surveys showed that attitudes towards wildlife protection are generally positive. The incidences of HWC varied across the study sites with some sites such as Sengwe and Xibhavahlengwe experiencing higher levels of conflict. The study recommends for a holistic solution which addresses both HWC and poverty is critical in protecting biodiversity and improving livelihoods in communities around Gonarezhou National Park

    Telemedicine services are a part of technological developments in health services which make it easier for patients to get treatment. The doctor-patient relationships continue to change and evolve along with the development of technology. It is necessary for doctors to keep up with the technological development and should be able to utilize the information and communication technology to improve the quality of the services. Medical students are expected to be able to prepare themselves to face technological developments, one of which is providing telemedicine services. The goal to be achieved in this research is to identify challenges and recommendations from Ciputra University Faculty of Medicine students regarding readiness for providing the telemedicine services. The method used is descriptive qualitative and uses the cross-sectional approach. The results of data analysis show that the majority of Ciputra University Faculty of Medicine students have knowledge of what telemedicine services are, used, and also studied about the telemedicine services. The results show that Ciputra University Faculty of Medicine students agree that there are challenges and recommendations to telemedicine services.   Keywords: medical students, challenge, recommendation, telemedicine service

    THE INFLUENCE OF INDEPENDENT COMMISSIONERS, COMPANY COMPLEXITY, AND COMPANY RISK ON AUDIT FEES

    This study aims to analyze the impact of independent commissioners, company complexity, and company risk on audit fees in technology sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2018-2022. Given the increasing dependence on technology and the increasing complexity in the business environment, understanding the factors that influence audit fees is very important. This study uses a purposive sampling method, where samples are selected based on certain criteria, and produces 8 companies with a total of 40 data. Data analysis was carried out using panel data regression techniques. Before the regression test was carried out, a hypothesis test was applied to ensure the validity of the model. The results of the study indicate that independent commissioners have no effect on audit fees, while company complexity has a positive effect on audit fees, and company risk has no effect on audit fees. These findings provide valuable insights for company management and auditors in managing and setting audit fees based on internal company factors

    Unleashing Charisma: The Impact of Bing Dwen Dwen On National Identity and Tourism In China

     Bing Dwen Dwen is a panda mascot that became the official mascot for Beijing’s 2022 Winter Olympics in China. This research aims to identify and recognize the main factors that make Bing Dwen Dwen, popular and very eye-catching. Its charm attracts people from around the world and thus the second objective of this research is to analyze its impact on the tourism industry. Through qualitative and quantitative approaches, this research uses case studies, interviews with experts, and visitor surveys to reveal design elements and marketing strategies that contribute to the success of Bing Dwen Dwen. From all the approaches conducted, it is found that an attractive and relevant mascot design can effectively reflect cultural values, traditions, and unique characteristics of a country. Such mascots could also gain emotional attachment from the public, making the people have pride with their own country’s emblem or symbol representation. The mascot's popularity also plays a role in strengthening China's national image and increasing its tourism appeal at the global level. Further analysis revealed that visual elements, such as color and shape, have a significant influence on people's perceptions. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of strategic planning in mascot development, including public involvement and collaboration with experienced designers. The discovery provided insights for Indonesia in designing and creating tourism branding strategies, as well as strengthening national identity through mascots as a practical cultural promotional element

    This study aims to determine the effect of product quality and service quality on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction with UD Padma Nadi as the research object. The variables used in this research are product quality and service quality as the independent variables, customer satisfaction as the mediating variable and customer loyalty as the dependent variable. The method used is quantitative mediation. The sample used in this study used a non-probability sampling method with a purposive sampling technique and a sample of 100 respondents. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be interpreted that product quality has a significant effect on customer loyalty, product quality has a significant effect on customer satisfaction, service quality has a significant effect on customer loyalty, service quality has a significant effect on customer satisfaction, customer satisfaction has a significant effect on customer loyalty. In addition, mediation occurs in the relationship between product quality and customer loyalty through customer satisfaction, and mediation occurs in the relationship between service quality and customer loyalty through customer satisfaction

Tujuan dari program omah entrepreneurship agar masyarakat mampu menciptakan bisnis untuk meningkatkan pendapatan. Program omah entrepreneurship terdiri dari delapan tahapan dianatanya: observasi, entreprenurship introduction, pemetaan potensi, benchmarking, penyusunan business plan, produksi prototype, market test, marketing. Empat tahapan pertama dapat dilalui peserta tanpa hambatan namun tahapan kelima hingga kedelapan berhasil dilalui setelah melewati hambatan dalam menciptakan bisnis. Peserta berhasil menciptakan 30 bisnis baru selama mengikuti program omah entrepreneurship dan mendapatkan tambahan pendapatan dari kegiatan bisnis yang dibuka

    Aktivitas bisnis memiliki kaitan dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi suatu kawasan regional. Jika terdapat aktivitas ekonomi akan mendorong tingkat produk domestic bruto suatu negara. Desa Kesamben Wetan di Driyorejo Kabupaten Gresik merupakan desa yang mayoritas penduduknya masih bekerja sebagai buruh swasta dan petani. Para penduduk desa masih sedikit yang mempunyai usaha sendiri khususnya kaum wanita atau ibu-ibu di mana mereka sebatas sebagai buruh pabrik dan juga ibu rumah tangga. Kepala Desa kemudian bekerja sama dengan Universitas Ciputra melakukan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat untuk melatih keterampilan dalam berwirausaha dan memberikan wawasan dalam merintis suatu bisnis untuk mengembangkan minat berwirausaha juga. Pelatihan ini dilakukan dengan pembelajaran di desa setempat, melakukan benchmark ke pasar modern, dan di akhir melakukan penjualan di event yang diadakan desa. Dari pelatihan ini menunjukkan peningkatan besarnya minat berwirausaha setelah melakukan pelatihan dengan hasil post-test kuesioner yang diberikan kepada ibu-ibu peserta

    Kendala bahasa merupakan permasalahan yang sering ditemui, terutama ketika berkomunikasi dengan orang dari luar negeri. Kendala ini dapat disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor, baik internal maupun eksternal dan dapat terjadi kapan saja. Kendala ini juga dapat ditemukan sebagai salah satu akar permasalahan lain di berbagai sektor. Bahkan dengan solusi yang ada, menggunakan penerjemah, masih saja muncul miskomunikasi jika terjemahan yang dihasilkan tidak menangkap konteks pembicaraan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi penerjemah percakapan langsung yang dapat membantu orang melakukan percakapan langsung. Pengembangan aplikasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan model waterfall dan memanfaatkan layanan ChatGPT sebagai layanan penerjemahan berbasis AI. Hasil pengujian yang diperoleh selama pengujian aplikasi menunjukkan kepuasan yang tinggi. Hasil yang diperoleh dapat menjadi indikator keberhasilan pendekatan yang diusulkan dalam membantu menyelesaikan masalah kendala bahasa di masyarakat
