Factors Influencing Purchase Intention To Buy Electric Motorcycles In Indonesia With Attitude As A Mediation Variable

    No full text
The adoption of electric motorcycles in Indonesia requires further study. Electric vehicles (EVs) are widely regarded as the most suitable green technology for application in the automotive sector, offering a means to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions. This study develops a model of electric motorcycle adoption intention based on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). The objective of this research is to identify the factors influencing consumer intentions to adopt electric motorcycles. Data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to 390 respondents. The research hypotheses were tested using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that environmental concerns, perceived economic benefits, social influence, and brand awareness have a significant positive impact on consumer attitudes toward electric motorcycles. However, government policies do not significantly affect consumer attitudes or interest in purchasing electric motorcycles in Indonesia. Additionally, perceived risk demonstrates a negative correlation with attitudes, indicating that concerns such as limited range, inadequate charging infrastructure, and battery life issues negatively affect consumer perceptions. Meanwhile, consumer attitudes were found to have a significant positive influence on purchase intentions. These findings provide valuable insights for both the government and electric motorcycle manufacturers. Understanding consumer behavior is essential for designing effective strategies to promote electric motorcycle adoption in Indonesia

    No full text
PT PLN (Persero) Unit Pelaksana Transmisi Cirebon is a PLN Unit tasked with maintaining the operational reliability of High Voltage and Extra High Voltage electrical equipment in the West Java region. The company has an duty to transmit 100% of the power produced from power plants to customers. The situation observed over the last five assessment periods reveals that the number of the employee’s work productivity has been highly fluctuating. Employee’s work productivity is influenced by several factors, one of which is employee engagement. The 2023 Employee Engagement survey results indicate that Work Engagement has reached 88.93% of the 88% target. However, certain dimensions have not met the target, namely the Work Conditions dimension (85.84%), which includes two factors: workload and physical work environment. The workforce at PT PLN (Persero) UPT Cirebon is still understaffed (96.8%), leading to frequent and prolonged overtime work. The Physical Work Environment at PLN UPT Cirebon is also not entirely satisfactory due to malfunctioning work facilities and equipment. This research aims to determine the influence of Workload and Physical Work Environment on Employee Engagement and its implications for Employee’s Work Productivity at PT PLN (Persero) Unit Pelaksana Transmisi Cirebon. This study employs a quantitative method with a descriptive research type. The research respondents consist of 219 employees of PT PLN (Persero) UPT Cirebon, utilizing non-probability sampling with saturated sampling. The processed data will be analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques with SEM-PLS. This research hypothesizes that Workload and Physical Work Environment simultaneously have a significant influence on Employee Productivity through Employee Engagement as an intervening variable at PLN UPT Cirebon. The research results indicate that the Physical Work Environment has a positive and significant influence on both Employee Engagement and Employee’s Work Productivity. Similarly, Employee Engagement was found to have a positive and significant influence on Employee’s Work Productivity. However, Workload did not show a significant influence on either Employee Engagement or Employee’s Work Productivity, whether directly or through the intervening variable. A coefficient of determination value of 0.631 indicates that 63.1% of employee productivity is explained by these three variables, while the remainder is influenced by other factors. This research has limitations in its scope of the variables considered. Therefore, further research is recommended to explore other variables such as leadership style, work-life balance, organizational culture, or to conduct qualitative studies to gain a deeper understanding of the phenomena

    Get PDF
This study aimed to develop and validate a service quality measurement instrument specifically for brick-and-mortar cosmetic retail stores in Lampung Province, Indonesia. An initial pool of 40 items—reflecting six dimensions (store aesthetics, ambience, lighting, product display, store layout, and staff service quality)—was generated based on the literature and refined through expert review and pilot testing. Data were collected from 126 customers of three major cosmetic retailers in Lampung. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) on 33 retained items revealed a stable three-factor structure (“Store Aesthetics,” “Ambience & Lighting,” and “Product Display, Layout & Staff Service”), explaining 70.6% of the total variance. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) confirmed model fit (CFI = 0.96; TLI = 0.95; RMSEA = 0.045; SRMR = 0.042). Each factor demonstrated high internal consistency (α ≥ 0.878; CR ≥ 0.90) and acceptable convergent validity (AVE ≥ 0.56) and discriminant validity. The final 26-item scale offers a psychometrically sound tool for assessing service quality in Indonesian cosmetic retail environments. Practically, managers can use this instrument to identify areas for improvement—in interior design, sensory ambience, merchandise presentation, store layout, and staff training—to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty

    No full text
The Indonesia Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) serves as a key indicator of sharia-compliant stock performance on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study investigates the impact of macroeconomic factors—interest rates, exchange rates, inflation, oil prices, and gold prices—on ISSI volatility from January 2015 to December 2024. Utilizing a quantitative approach with multiple regression analysis, the findings reveal that interest rates significantly negatively affect volatility (coefficient -0.509, significance 0.001), indicating that higher interest rates reduce market volatility. In contrast, the exchange rate and inflation show no significant effects (coefficients -0.308 and 0.144). World oil prices have a marginal negative impact (coefficient -0.200), while gold prices are not significant (coefficient 0.045). ANOVA results confirm that all independent variables collectively influence ISSI volatility significantly (significance 0.005). This research underscores the importance of macroeconomic factors in investment decision-making within the sharia market and suggests future studies incorporate sectoral analysis and additional control variables for deeper insights

    Get PDF
PLN's electricity supply is not always continuous in the process of distributing power, because under certain conditions there will be blackouts caused by interruptions or maintenance in the distribution system. An alternative to overcome PLN disturbances is to use renewable sources such as solar power plants and generators with an ATS automatic control system controlled using PLC. This study conducted a literature study to collect relevant theories and references about this research. PLC diagram leaders are designed for the process of transferring PLN, PLTS and Generator to load electrical power. Solar power plants operate during disruptions to PLN resources during operational hours (10 a.m. – 3 p.m.) and generators operate when solar power resources cannot supply to the load and at night outside solar power plant operating hours. The ATS system is able to switch the process of switching PLN and PLTS power sources very quickly without any time lag so that the load is directly supplied by PLN and PLTS power sources. The process of switching the generator source takes approximately 2 seconds for the starting process. The process of transferring battery power resources to critical loads without any time lag during the  generator starting process  and when generator starting failure occurs.&nbsp

Strategies for Managing Renovation Project Delays: An Integrated Approach to Project Communication and Stakeholder Engagement Using the Critical Path Method.

    Get PDF
Delays in hotel renovation projects can significantly disrupt business continuity, increase operational costs, and erode stakeholder confidence. This study investigates the primary causes of delay and the role of stakeholder influence in managing renovation projects, focusing on the Hotel X Jakarta renovation case. A mixed-method approach was adopted, combining quantitative analysis through questionnaires and Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), along with qualitative insights from stakeholder interviews. Fifty respondents representing both internal and external actors were selected from a total of 100 identified project stakeholders.  The findings revealed three dominant causes of delay: (1) ineffective communication and coordination among project teams, (2) decision-making delays by internal managerial staff, and (3) lack of involvement of key stakeholders in the early phases of the project. The most influential contributors to delay were internal decision-makers, government regulators responsible for permitting, and external consultants who failed to deliver project documentation on time. Stakeholder mapping showed that these actors possessed both high power and high interest, yet their engagement was either misaligned or delayed.  These results indicate that project delays are not only technical issues but are also deeply rooted in behavioral, organizational, and structural dynamics. To mitigate such delays, renovation projects should integrate stakeholder engagement strategies with proactive communication planning and scheduling tools such as the Critical Path Method (CPM). This integrated approach provides a more resilient framework for managing complexity in multi-stakeholder renovation environments
