Analysis of Public Satisfaction Levels Towards Hospital Services Using The K-Nearest Neighbors Method (Case Study: XYZ Regional Public Hospital)

    No full text
The level of public satisfaction with health services is an important indicator that reflects the quality of services provided by a hospital. XYZ Hospital, as one of the main health service providers, strives to continuously improve the quality of its services by understanding and evaluating the level of patient satisfaction. However, challenges arise when it comes to accurately identifying and predicting patient satisfaction, given the diverse characteristics of patients and the complexity of the services provided. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the level of public satisfaction with XYZ Hospital services using the K-Nearest Neighbors method. This study employs a quantitative approach by utilizing patient satisfaction data obtained through a survey. We then analyze the data using the K-Nearest Neighbors method, known for its effectiveness in classifying based on data proximity. We carry out the model performance evaluation process through an evaluation matrix that includes accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. The results of the study show that the K-Nearest Neighbors model is able to classify patient satisfaction with an accuracy value of 94%, precision of 97.67%, recall of 95.45%, and F1-Score of 96.55%. These results indicate that the K-Nearest Neighbors model is not only accurate in predicting patient satisfaction but also consistent in classifying patients who are satisfied and dissatisfied. The study's conclusion is that the K-nearest neighbors method is very effective in analyzing and predicting the level of patient satisfaction at XYZ Hospital. This study makes a significant contribution by utilizing the K-Nearest Neighbors model as a potent predictive tool for assessing patient satisfaction, a tool hospitals can employ to enhance service quality. We hope that further development will enable the larger-scale implementation of this model, thereby enhancing the quality of health services across various hospitals

    No full text
This study aims to examine the influence of servant leadership and intrinsic motivation on affective commitment and employee performance. Employing a causal research design with a quantitative approach, data were collected using a saturated sampling method from 90 employees. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) with the SmartPLS 4 software. The results indicate that servant leadership has no significant effect on affective commitment but has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Intrinsic motivation positively and significantly affects both affective commitment and employee performance. Furthermore, affective commitment has a significant positive effect on performance. However, affective commitment does not mediate the relationship between servant leadership and employee performance, whereas it does mediate the relationship between intrinsic motivation and performance

    No full text
PLN UPT Karawang is responsible for managing electricity transmission assets across the regions of Karawang, Bekasi, Purwakarta, and Subang, with a total capacity of 6,530 MVA from 60 transformer units, serving 17 high-voltage consumers. By the end of 2024, this unit had fulfilled only 95.14% of its workforce requirements, which may lead to excessive workloads, reduced work-life balance, and increased risks of fatigue and declining employee well-being. Furthermore, a drop in the work engagement index from 89.74% in 2022 to 88.89% in 2023, along with suboptimal achievements in the Work Condition and Recognition dimensions, reflects potential weaknesses in organizational support and recognition for employees. This decline indicates a weakening in leadership quality, supervision, and organizational culture, which can negatively affect employee motivation, job satisfaction, and loyalty. Additionally, a reduced sense of meaningfulness in work and worsening working conditions may lower productivity and increase stress levels. This study aims to analyze the influence of direct supervisor support and work-life balance on employee work engagement at PLN UPT Karawang. Data were collected through a questionnaire using a 1–5 scale and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares method within the Structural Equation Modeling framework. The results indicate that both organizational support and work-life balance have a significant influence, both partially and simultaneously, on work engagement. The coefficient of determination value of 0.406 suggests that 40.6% of work engagement is explained by these two variables, while the remaining 59.4% is influenced by other factors. This study is limited by the scope of respondents and variables, so future research is recommended to broaden the population and include other variables such as leadership, organizational culture, and psychological well-being to gain a deeper understanding

    Get PDF
This study examined the control of thrips through technical culture on tomato plants by combining soil amendments and UV plastic shade. An experiment was conducted in dry land in Gumantar village, North Lombok Regency, from May to September 2024. This study tested three levels of soil amendments (without soil amendments, with chicken manure, and biochar) and two levels of shade (without shade and with UV plastic shade). The treatments were arranged factorially using a randomized block design with three replications. The population of thrips, both larvae and imago, and the intensity of thrips pest attacks were observed. The results showed an interaction between soil amendments and UV plastic shelters in suppressing the first instar larvae of thrips pests on young leaves. The soil amendment factor significantly affected the presence of first instar larvae on old and young leaves. The UV plastic shelter treatment had a significant impact on all observation parameters, namely thrips pest imago on old and young leaves, first instar larvae on old and young leaves, second instar larvae on old and young leaves, and the intensity of thrips pest attacks
