    Voice Command Smart Home Control on Single-board Computer Using Google Speech API and Cosine Similarity

    The development of technology today is very fast and sophisticated. One example of technological developments is the smart home. A smart home is a house or building equipped with high technology that allows various systems and devices in the home to communicate with one another. This technology is very helpful for parents and people with disabilities in activities at home. One way of controlling smart homes currently being developed is voice control. However, some smart home devices do not yet have control features using voice commands in Indonesian. This study aims to create and test a smart home device that can be controlled by voice commands using the Google Speech-to-Text Application Programming Interface (API) as a medium for capturing and converting voice commands from users into text. The results of the conversion are processed using the Cosine Similarity method to determine what commands are given and which devices the user wants to control. This process is carried out on a Single Board Computer (SBC), specifically the Raspberry Pi. The system achieves up to 100% accuracy in quiet conditions with an average response time of 1001.4 ms. However, this accuracy drops to approximately 80% in noisy environments above 65dB, indicating limitations of the Google Speech API under high noise conditions

    The palm oil plantation and processing industry is a key industry for Indonesia\u27s economy. Palm oil exports are an important source of foreign exchange earnings, and this industry provides employment opportunities for millions of Indonesians. According to data from the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture, the total area of palm oil plantations in Indonesia currently reaches around 8 million hectares, twice the area in the early 2000s, with around 30% located on the island of Kalimantan. In an analysis of the factors affecting Indonesia\u27s palm oil exports (Ditjenbun, 2018). This research method is a qualitative research that emphasizes more on the process and results, how a treatment and care occurs and how to handle it effectively. Conclusion, Preventive maintenance is carried out on bucket bolts, bucket chains, transmission chains, and buckets. Preventive corrective maintenance is carried out on gearboxes, transmission chains, sprocket bearings, buckets, and bucket chains. Preventive breakdown maintenance is carried out during the replacement of bucket chains, sprocket bearings, and transmission gears. There are various types of damage that commonly occur in Fruit Elevators, including: damage to buckets, sprocket bearings, gearboxes, oil seals, and bucket chains. The causes of damage generally come from wear and tear, lack of lubrication, or mechanical wear due to high workload. Daily, weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance has been carried out with respective procedures such as lubrication, component checks, replacement of spare parts, and overhaul. The implementation of this maintenance schedule has proven effective in reducing the frequency of damage. Component replacement history data shows that components such as liners, sprockets, buckets, and gearboxes have the highest damage rates, thus requiring special attention and periodic monitoring to prevent repeated damage.Industri perkebunan dan pengolahan sawit adalah industri kunci bagi perekonomian Indonesia. Ekspor minyak kelapa sawit adalah penghasil devisa yang penting dan industri ini memberikan kesempatan kerja bagi jutaan orang Indonesia. Menurut data dari Kementerian Pertanian Indonesia, jumlah total luas area perkebunan sawit di Indonesia pada saat ini mencapai sekitar 8 juta hektar, dua kali lipat dari luas area di awal tahun 2000-an, sekitar 30% - berada di pulau Kalimantan. Dalam analisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi ekspor minyak kelapa sawit Indonesia (Ditjenbun, 2018). Metode Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif lebih menekankan pada proses dan hasil, bagaimana suatu perawatan dan perawatan yang terjadi dan bagaimana cara yang efektif dalam menanganinya. Kesimpulan, Preventif maintenance dilakukan pada baut bucket, rantai bucket, rantai transmisi dan bucket. Preventif korektif dilakukan pada gearbox, rantai transmisi, sprocker bearing sprfocket, bucket dan rantai bucket. Preventif breakdown dilakukan padasaat pergantian rantai bucket, bearing sprocket dan gear transmisi. Terdapat berbagai jenis kerusakan yang umum terjadi pada Fruit Elevator, di antaranya: kerusakan pada bucket, bearing sprocket, gearbox, oil seal, serta rantai bucket. Penyebab kerusakan umumnya berasal dari aus, pelumasan yang kurang, atau keausan mekanis akibat beban kerja tinggi. Perawatan harian, mingguan, bulanan, dan tahunan telah dilaksanakan dengan prosedur masing-masing seperti pelumasan, pengecekan komponen, pergantian suku cadang, hingga overhaul. Penerapan jadwal perawatan ini terbukti efektif dalam menurunkan frekuensi kerusakan. Data riwayat penggantian komponen menunjukkan bahwa komponen seperti liner, sprocket, bucket, dan gearbox memiliki tingkat kerusakan tertinggi, sehingga perlu perhatian khusus dan pemantauan berkala untuk mencegah kerusakan berulang

    The Yusrotus Syafa’ah Al Yusfa Foundation is a religious educational institution focusing on Qur’anic and tahfidz learning. Despite its active educational programs, the foundation experiences limited public exposure due to the absence of professionally designed visual communication media. This study aims to design, develop, and evaluate the effectiveness of a profile video as a strategic visual communication tool to increase public awareness and strengthen the institutional image. This research employs a Design and Development (D&D) approach, consisting of needs analysis, narrative and visual design, audiovisual production, and user-based evaluation. The product is a 4-minute-46-second profile video emphasizing emotional storytelling, cinematic visuals, and authentic documentation of institutional activities. The effectiveness of the video was evaluated through a post-test questionnaire administered to 17 respondents using a five-point Likert scale. The results indicate a satisfaction level of 92.2% (Very Satisfied category) and show that 88.9% of respondents gained new knowledge about the foundation after watching the video. These findings demonstrate that the developed profile video is highly effective in improving public awareness, enhancing message clarity, and strengthening the positive image and credibility of the institution. The study confirms that systematically designed audiovisual media can function not only as promotional tools but also as strategic visual communication instruments for non-profit and religious educational organizations

    Pengaruh Pembersihan Biogas Menggunakan Larutan NaOH terhadap Performa Motor Bensin: Studi Komparatif RPM, Torsi, Konsumsi Bahan Bakar, dan Emisi Gas Buang

    Biogas merupakan sumber energi terbarukan yang menjanjikan untuk aplikasi motor bakar, namun kandungan kontaminan seperti CO₂ (25-45%), H₂S (10-40 ppm), dan H₂O mengurangi nilai kalor dan dapat merusak komponen mesin. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh pembersihan biogas menggunakan larutan NaOH terhadap performa motor bensin 4-tak. Pengujian dilakukan pada motor bensin dengan variasi konsentrasi NaOH (0%, 10%, 20%, 30%) untuk pembersihan biogas. Parameter yang diukur meliputi RPM, torsi, konsumsi bahan bakar spesifik (KBBS), suhu gas buang, dan emisi gas (CO, CO₂, HC, O₂). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi NaOH optimal sebesar 20% dapat menurunkan kandungan CO₂ hingga 71,9% dengan peningkatan kemurnian CH₄ mencapai 87,76%. Performa motor dengan biogas terproses menunjukkan stabilitas putaran yang lebih baik, torsi meningkat 8-12%, dan emisi CO₂ turun 15-22% dibandingkan biogas tanpa pembersihan. Efisiensi konsumsi bahan bakar dengan biogas terproses mencapai 144,625 g/kW.jam, lebih efisien dibanding bensin premium. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi praktis untuk optimalisasi pemanfaatan biogas sebagai bahan bakar alternatif ramah lingkungan.This study investigates the effect of biogas purification using sodium hydroxide (NaOH) solution on the performance of a four-stroke gasoline engine. Biogas is a promising renewable energy source, but the presence of contaminants such as CO₂, H₂S, and water vapour reduces its calorific value and can cause corrosion in engine components. In this research, biogas is purified using NaOH solution with four concentration levels (0%, 10%, 20%, and 30%), and then supplied to a gasoline engine as an alternative fuel. The measured parameters include engine speed (RPM), torque, brake specific fuel consumption (BSFC), exhaust gas temperature, and exhaust emissions (CO, CO₂, HC, O₂) under several load conditions. The results indicate that a NaOH concentration of 20% is optimal, reducing CO₂ content by about 70% and significantly increasing CH₄ purity, which leads to an improvement in torque by approximately 8–12% and a reduction in BSFC compared to untreated biogas. Furthermore, the purified biogas lowers CO and HC emissions and slightly reduces CO₂ emissions relative to raw biogas, demonstrating better combustion quality and environmental performance while maintaining engine operation that is comparable to gasoline fuel

    Smart Home Implementation with Home Assistant Platform in Modern Housing

    The implementation of smart home systems using the Home Assistant platform in modern residential environment addresses residents’ needs for practical, effective, and energy-efficient home management. Although the smart home market is projected to grow by 16.3 until 2027, its adoption in Indonesia still faces challenges related to public understanding and device integration complexity. The developed system integrates temperature and humidity sensors, energy consumption measurement sensors, motion defection sensors, relays for device control, and an esp32 as the central control unit. Data from esp32 is transmitted in real-time to Firebase Real Time Database, then integrated with Home Assistant and Node-RED and add-ons for securing monitoring. Evaluation demonstrates effective performance in integrating devices from various vendors and protocols, as well as responsiveness of automation features. This development provides an efficient, cost-effective, and ease-adopted smart home implementation model, demonstrating how the open-source Home Assistant platform can enhance energy efficiency, comfort, and security for residents of modern housing in Indonesia

    Web-Based Monitoring and Control System for Aquaponics Using IoT and Fuzzy Logic

    Aquaponics integrates aquaculture and hydroponic cultivation to improve resource efficiency and support food security under constraints of limited land and water. Water quality is a critical determinant of aquaponics productivity; however, many small-scale systems still rely on manual and periodic monitoring, which limits timely intervention. This study proposes an Internet of Things (IoT)–enabled, web-based aquaponics monitoring and control system for catfish (Clarias gariepinus) cultivation integrated with water spinach (Ipomoea aquatica). The system acquires water quality parameters including temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, and ammonia using multiple sensors connected to an Arduino Mega. Sensor data are transmitted in real time via an ESP communication module using the MQTT protocol through the HiveMQ broker and stored in a MongoDB database for real-time visualization and historical analysis. In addition, pump actuator control is implemented using fuzzy logic based on water temperature and ammonia concentration to regulate water circulation and provide an interpretable qualitative assessment of water quality. Experimental validation confirms reliable sensing, transmission, storage, and web-based monitoring in an aquaponics pond scenario. The end-to-end transmission delay from the microcontroller to the web application achieves an average of 0.369 s (369 ms), indicating near real-time performance suitable for continuous monitoring and control

In addition, teachers are also required to be able to make changes to the learning media in their own classes to see how to improve student learning outcomes by using varied learning media. The activities in this mentoring are that teachers from the KB TK PIG will be given training and mentoring in socialization activities to increase their knowledge/understanding of how to make educational teaching aids (APE). So that it can increase the teacher\u27s imagination in developing all aspects and intelligence in their students. The final result of this activity is expected to be that each teacher will have educational and creative learning media that have good learning value.Judul kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) yang diusulkan adalah “Pengembangan Alat Peraga Edukatif untuk Guru KB-TK Persatuan Istri Guru  Malang  ”. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam rangka menyambut semakin berkembangnya media pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan dalam mengajar sehari–hari. Selain itu guru juga dituntut dapat melakukan perubahan terhadap media pembelajaran di kelasnya sendiri untuk melihat bagaimana peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran yang bervariasi. Kegiatan dalam pendampingan ini adalah guru–guru dari KB-TK PIG  akan diberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam kegiatan sosialisasi untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan/pemahaman mereka mengenai cara pembuatan alat peraga edukatif (APE). Sehingga dapat meningkatkan imajinasi guru tersebut dalam mengembangkan segala aspek dan kecerdasan yang ada pada diri siswanya.     Accumulator/aki adalah suatu jenis baterai yang banyak digunakan untuk  kendaraan  bermotor. Aki motor secara umum dibedakan menjadi dua jenis yaitu aki basah dan aki kering. Di dalam aki basah terdapat cairan yang disebut elektrolit, elektrolit ini terbuat dari kandungan asam dengan air. Namun kandungan asam yang dihasilkan terkadang tidak sama dikarenakan pemilihan campuran air yang digunakan kurang tepat. Tujuan dalam penelitan ini adalah untuk mengetahui campuran elektrolit paling efektif terhadap perfoma tegangan pada aki dengan membandingkan penggunaan antara air suling dan air mineral. Metode penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental dengan membandingkan variasi larutan elektrolit pada dua aki berkapasitas 35Ah dan 45Ah. Output yang menjadi perbandingan yaitu pengukuran nilai tegangan yang dihasilkan oleh dua buah aki yang diuji. Pengujian dilakukan dalam kurun waktu 15 menit sampai 120 menit sebelum dan setelah charge. Pengukuran pada mobil berkapasitas 1200 cc dengan putaran 1000 rpm sampai 3000 rpm, larutan elektrolit pada air suling mendapatkan nilai tegangan yang lebih tinggi daripada air mineral, dengan tegangan saat penuangan pertama setelah 120 menit yaitu 12.9 volt dan setelah dicharge naik menjadi 13.6 volt.  Kemudian di mobil pada putaran 1000 rpm mendapatkan tegangan stabil 14.5 volt dan saat start engine pertama 10.2 volt. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini elektrolit air suling terbilang lebih cocok digunakan untuk air aki ketimbang elektrolit air mineral. Untuk pemakaian jangka lama elektrolit air suling lebih baik dibandingkan elektrolit air mineral yang mudah panas saat digunakan pada jangka waktu yang lama dan diputaran rpm tinggiAccumulator/battery is a type of battery that is widely used for motorized vehicles. Motorcycle batteries are generally divided into two types, namely wet batteries and dry batteries. Inside a wet battery there is a liquid called electrolyte, this electrolyte is made from acid and water. However, the acid content produced is sometimes not the same due to the inappropriate selection of the water mixture used. The aim of this research is to find out the most effective electrolyte mixture for battery voltage performance by comparing the use of distilled water and mineral water. This research method is experimental by comparing variations in electrolyte solutions in two batteries with a capacity of 35Ah and 45Ah. The output used for comparison is the measurement of the voltage value produced by the two batteries being tested. Testing was carried out within a period of 15 minutes to 120 minutes before and after charging. Measurements on a car with a capacity of 1200 cc with a rotation of 1000 rpm to 3000 rpm, the electrolyte solution in distilled water obtained a higher voltage value than mineral water, with the voltage during the first pour after 120 minutes being 12.9 volts and after being charged it rose to 13.6 volts.  The conclusion of this research is that for long-term use, distilled water electrolyte is better than mineral water electrolyte which heats up easily when used for long periods of time and at high rpm

    Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Pemilihan Mobil Bekas Berbasis Web Menggunakan Metode Weighted Product

    Limited information about vehicle conditions and manual selection methods often leaves prospective used car buyers uncertain. This problem occurs at the Sumber Rejeki Showroom, which has not yet adopted a decision support system to assist buyers in selecting used cars. This study aims to develop a web-based decision support system for used car selection using the Weighted Product (WP) method. Using a quantitative approach, the study involves collecting car attribute data, assigning criterion weights, and testing the system. Validation is conducted by comparing system-generated rankings with manual WP calculations and by performing white box testing to verify the correctness of the system logic. The system development follows the intelligence, design, choice, and implementation stages. The results show that the system’s ranking aligns exactly with manual calculations, confirming the proper application of the WP method. White box testing indicates error-free WP computations, and a Cyclomatic Complexity score of 10 suggests that the code is maintainable. Overall, the study demonstrates that the developed web-based decision support system can effectively support used car selection, enhance decision-making efficiency, and increase user confidence
