“Bygge och Bo” : The Building and Home Exhibitions, Forerunner to the 1930 Stockholm Exhibition.

The Bygge och Bo (Building and Home) exhibitions held in Stockholm between 1921 and 1928 were the forerunners of the 1930 Stockholm Exhibition. In Swedish design surveys, the 1930 Stockholm Exhibition is described as the event that introduced the Swedish public to Modernist ideas on housing. However, aspects of the Building and Home exhibitions demonstrate that Swedish architects and organizations had already embraced Modernist values of standardized housing construction, rational household work, and a social concern to solve the problem of the working class's poor housing conditions, and that they endeavored to share their ideas with the public through the Bygge och Bo exhibitions. In fact, the exhibitions represent the shift in Swedish housing policy from the healthy garden city as an ideal for the working class to the increasing emphasis laid on modern apartment buildings. Furthermore, they renewed and developed the exhibition medium

Bild - som pedagogisk metod vid lärande

Syftet med min uppsats har varit att se om en bildorienterad undervisning kan påverka och stimulera lärandet hos elever. Jag har därför följt undervisningen i en åk 3 - 5 som kallas ”bildklass” på Centralskolan i Kristianstad, där jag försökt se vilka metoder som använts i lärandeprocessen. Jag har intervjuat klassläraren och gett enkäter rill elever och föräldrar. Jag har sökt svar på vilka konsekvenser som följer på ett lärande genom bilder. Jag har tagit upp olika praktiker inom pedagogik och hjärnforskning för att se vilken grund som finns för lärande. Kan olika sinnen stimuleras i ett lärande och vilken betydelse har de för eleven. Jag har genom mina besök i klassen och studier inom olika praktiker funnit att eleverna lärt sig mycket om de ämnen som behandlats och att de har lärt på ett för dem inspirerande och positivt sätt
