HRD-Index(인적자원개발지수) 구축 및 활용
The purpose of this study is to develop the Human Resource Development Index(HRD-Index) in Korea by using the Human Capital Corporate Panel(HCCP) survey data of the Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training(KRIVET).
HCCP survey started in 2005 to identify the actual status of corporate human resources and the achievements of knowledge and skill formation in Korea and has conducted in every two years. It surveyed 500 firms which employed 100 and over workers. At this study the 3rd (2009) to 5th (2013) wave data are used.
근로빈곤층 자립지원을 위한 직업능력개발 연계 방안 연구
This study investigates the roles of vocational skills development policy in supporting self sufficiency of working poor. Focus is given to income maintenance, employment service, and employment incentives, and a critical assesment is made of the roles and positions of skills development policy in terms of the linkage to these policy packages. Delineating the concept, composition, and the roles of vocational skills development policy in supporting self-sufficiency of working poor, self-sufficiency is defined as ‘exiting poverty through labor market entry and staying ’out of poverty’ status by employment retention’. To achieve self sufficiency of working poor, the configuration of income maintenance, employment incentives, and employment services needs to be established in a more concrete manner. The roles of vocational skills development policy deserve scrutiny as the welfare benefits are being transformed into individually tailored benefits under the National Basic Living Security System.

The study has been conducted to analyze the current status of economic activities, and to suggest improvement plans and policy tasks for skills development and employment for marriage immigrant women. The concrete purposes of this study are as follow:
First, the characteristics and propensity of employment are identified by analyzing the tendency of increase in marriage immigrant and their economic activities based on social change to seek measures to upgrade their economic status.

Currently, the most important issue of the Korean economy is employment. Hereupon, while employment rate which means the problem related to amount of employment has been the subject of social and political considerable interest, the problem of the quality of employment has been a target to be relatively marginalized from policy and research. However, in the Korean economy where the polarization of the labor market is becoming even more serious, the labor market policy’s research project must be oriented with the goal of improvement of both the amount of employment and its quality.
대학 창업교육훈련 생태계 조성 방안
This study aims to suggest ways to cultivate a reliable ecosystem of entrepreneurship education and training in South Korean universities through examining overall startup situations in Korea and benchmarking good examples of overseas. Especially we focused on finding viable alternatives to activate practical youth entrepreneurship activities.
The main findings are as fellows.
First, the most important factor in determining the level of youth entrepreneurship activities turned out to be the existence of entrepreneurial success model within the university. In addition, the degree of financial aid from the university had a major impact on youth startup activities. ...
NCS를 활용한 훈련과정 개발 지원 및 심사평가 연계 방안
In this study, enabled the NCS-based training courses, with plans for training and development support so as to develop a training course using National Competency Standard(NCS) actively conducted. Aims to derive a plan to link the skills development training institutions evaluation and training to maintain and improve the quality of screening for such training.
Looking at the main NCS-based training and development support, and review the evaluation linkages derived from this study are as follows.
First, it is determined in the NCS-based training course development support needed to develop their own training institutions teaching the test system and recognition system. And the limited time that is deemed necessary to support the actual cost payment and settlement systems to ensure training facilities and equipment. And this is deemed necessary in the provision of corporate and institutional apparatus for providing equipment and training institutions free of charge subject.
FTA 시대 HRD 전략 연구
This study aims to explore ways of developing competent human resources and utilizing them effectively as a key measure for securing and enhancing the fundamental competitiveness of the Korean economy in the rapidly changing landscape of the global economy as a result of Free Trade Agreements. In particular, since effective utilization of excellent human resources is a decisive factor in terms of competitiveness in the face of the increasing levels of global competition that characterize the FTA era, this study analyzes the various problems facing the skills development system of Korea and explores possible solutions to these problems.

As one of the measures to overcome credentialism, it should be necessary to develop selection tool for suiting the tasks of each occupation, by complementing and strengthening the aptitude test. When diverse sorting tools rather than academic achievement can be developed and spread around the so-called decent jobs, it will become possible to overcome so called “diploma disease”. For the success of these efforts, cooperations between government and schools, educational organizations and employer & occupational organizations should be essential.

Every 4 years since 1998, Korean Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training(KRIVET) has been conducting a survey targeting the people in Korea on Korean’s occupational consciousness. The research of 2014 is the 5th study. The purpose of this research is to observe the occupational consciousness of Koreans of 2014, and the reality of the work ethics and the aspects of transition through the time series analysis of 2006 and 2010.
Also, with the socio economic change, the newest issues that are closely related to the occupational world and the aspects of the labor market, such as job and happiness, vocation, maladjustment of the new employees, the recognition on unfairness, the competency centered society, and on the Work Smart, have been investigated.
특수교육대상학생을 위한 진로정보서 발간 사업(2013-2017)
The main purposes of this year were to develop the accurate and reliable career information to publish three kinds of career information related productsa Career Information Book of 2014 for teachers and parents, a career guidance program manual for teachers which utilizes the Career Information Book of 2012 to 2014 as the main sources, and two storytelling posters for students. In addition, for dissemination and diffusion of the research outcomes, a seminar was held on 30th of October, 2014 with more than 200 teachers and researchers at the field of special education.
