The study on the illustration of SHI JING in 17th century Japan and China
研究成果の概要(英文): This study attempted to research the illustration of SHI JING 詩経 existing in Japan and China, and analyzed these transitions and backgrounds. Findings indicate the following three points. First, The MAO SHI ZHENG BIAN ZHI NAN TU 毛詩正変指南図, which is one of the earliest existing illustrations of SHI JING compiled in Nan Song 南宋 period, was incorporated into SHI JING texts compiled by the imperial court. Second, after the middle of Ming dynasty, some significant changes (e.g., the influence of the imperial examination Keju 科挙 and the activity of bookshops) contributed to the reorganization of the illustration of SHI JING and the compilation of new illustration. Finally, the earliest existing illustration of animals and plants described in SHI JING was compiled during the Qing dynasty 清朝. Moreover, Oka Genpou's MOU SHI HINBUTSU ZUKOU (岡元鳳『毛詩品物図考』) was almost the only Japanese illustration that impinged on China

All the clinical and bioinformatics data except for personal identification were stored. Ovarian cancer specimen was subjected to the analysis of microarray in inhouse facility and all the data was stored in the main computer. Then, intracellular signals of each sample was calculated and refined into 1 to 10 scores, so that enables to estimate what kind of intracellular signal was activated in individual patient. These analysis was performed in a routine manner
Development of automated blood sampling in uL order, metabolite analysis, and an algorithm for noise reduction for quantitative PET molecular imaging using PET
研究成果の概要(英文): This project aimed at developing methods for blood sampling, metabolite analysis, and noise deduction for quantitative functional molecular imaging using PET and mice. The blood sampling system can be operated automatically, and it can separate the plasma and measure the volume and an amount of radioactivity using a few micro-litter of sampled blood that does not affect mice physiological condition. Direct metabolite analysis is also archived with the sampling system. And, a statistical model for noise in measured data can reduce the noise. These achievements can be applied mice to fully quantitative PET functional imaging to mice

Then we have analysed these cases closely and tried building a model of multi-sector type partnerships to make sure a social inclusion. Our main findings were importance of asset transfer from local governments to communities. We could observe asset transfer and good asset management in those success cases. But, the scheme of multi-sector partnership through asset transfer is still developing in Japan. We think it is very important to develop infrastructure of the law about asset transfer

Through the period of this study, (-)-hopeaphenol from burk of Shorea roxbughii, sarmenosides from aerial parts of Sedum sarmentosum, nigellamines from seeds of Nigella sativa, and flavonol glycosides from Rosa canina and Camellia sinensis were elucidated as bioactive compounds which reduced TG contents in hepatocytes. Moreover, reduction of liver TG in mice was observed in vivo studies through the oral administration of several extracts
Japanese Grammar Education Using Music (8) "Masu-form Song"
publisher[Abstract] The masu-form is a verb form in the Japanese language used in polite situations. It is widely employed in conversations with unknown people, elderly people, superiors, and other situations where politeness is warranted. The masu-form, therefore, is very important and is taught in the first stages of Japanese study. This paper explains the "Masu-form Song" (lyrics and composition) which wascreated in August 2014 as music teaching material for Japanese language education. Verse 1 demonstrates the present- tense forms of the masu-form. The affirmative present form, the negative present form, and the interrogative present form of each verb group (I, II, III) are included. Examples of a group-I verb are as follows: "matimasu" [wait], "matimasen" [do not wait], "matimasu-ka" [do you wait?]. Verse 2 demonstrates the past-tense forms of the masu-form. It includes the affirmative past form, the negative past form, and the interrogative past form of the masu-form of each verb group (I, II, III). Examples of a group-II verb in this verse are as follows: "mimasita" [saw / looked / watched], "mimasendesita" [did not see], "mimasita-ka" [did you see?]. In these teaching materials, a worksheet of the "Masu-form Song" has also been prepared; It can be used to teach the masu-form, or be used as a quiz to check student mastery of the material
