    Tanah merupakan tempat hidup yang paling ideal bagi bakteri. Setiap elemen tanah memiliki jenis, populasi dan sifat genetik yang berbeda. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghitung jumlah bakteri dan keragaman bakteri pada rhizosfer aren di Desa Bontosomba Kabupaten Maros. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif eksploratif. Isolasi bakteri dilakukan pada bagian rhizosfer tanaman aren yang diuji karakteristiknya meliputi pengamatan makroskopik, mikroskopik, dan uji biokimia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tanah di Desa Bontosomba Kabupaten Maros. mengandung beberapa jenis bakteri tanah, diperoleh jumlah  isolat tertinggi 532   cfu/g dan terendah ditemukan  dengan jumlah isolat 423    cfu/g. diperoleh 12 isolat bakteri yang terdiri dari 6 genus  termasuk bakteri rhizosfir yaitu Streptococcus, Monococus, Bacillus, Coccobacillus, Spiriliu

    Partisipasi merupakan keikutsertaan atau keterlibatan masyarakat setempat dalam kegiatan pelestarian hutan mangrove guna menjaga sumber daya pesisir tersebut agar tetap lestari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan hutan mangrove, untuk mengetahui upaya masyarakat dalam pengelolaan hutan mangrove di wilayah pesisir Kabupaten Pangkajene dan Kepulauan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di 6 kecamatan 9 Desa/Kelurahan wilayah pesisir Kabupaten Pangkajene dan Kepulauan. Waktu penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret sampai Agustus 2023. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan panduan wawancara/kuesioner, dengan melibatkan responden sejumlah 58 masyarakat yang tinggal di wilayah pesisir. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis deskriktif kuantitatif untuk mengetahui bentuk partisipasi dan upaya masyarakat dalam pengelolaan hutan mangrove. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan hutan mangrove yaitu sebanyak (93,10%) dikategorikan sudah baik, adapun bentuk partisipasinya yaitu menanam, membibit dan mengawasi hutan mangrove, Upaya masyarakat dalam pengelolaan hutan mangrove yaitu sebanyak (89,66%) dikategorikan sudah baik, adapun upaya masyarakat dalam melakukan penanaman yaitu melakukan penanaman kembali, pemasangan ajir/patok, menyiram bibit mangrove menggunakan pompa air dari laut dan pemasangan jaring

    ABSTRACT Issues related to watershed have received primary attention in the past few decades. The hydrological conditions of the watershed area are considered crucial as a source of life. In efforts to achieve sustainable watershed management, understanding the complex hydrological dynamics is very important. The objective of this research is to simulate river discharge using the Soil and Water Assessment Tools (SWAT) model. This study was conducted in the Mamasa Sub-watershed area. The results show that the river discharge in the Mamasa Sub-watershed has increased as it approaches the outlet (downstream) through the accumulation of discharge in larger order rivers. The Mamasa Sub-watershed also experiences a trend of increasing average annual discharge at a rate of 0.74 m3/s per year. Improvement in the discharge simulation results was achieved through a calibration process using 11 parameters. The calibration results indicate that the calibrated discharge has a higher R2 value compared to the initial simulation discharge, showing that the model calibration successfully improved the quality of the expected discharge results to reach 79.50 percent. However, the calibration results still have a low R2 value, influenced by the selection of appropriate parameters and accurate observational data. Keywords: Modeling, River discharge, SWAT, Watershe

    Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Padi (Oryza Sativa L.) Varietas Inpari 32 Pada Dua Jenis dan Dosis Pupuk Organik Cair (POC)

    Padi (Oryza sativa L.) merupakan bahan pangan yang menjadi makanan pokok bagi sebagian besar penduduk Indonesia, karena itu komoditas ini memegang peranan penting dalam kehidupan ekonomi Indonesia. Permintaan akan beras semakin meningkat dari waktu ke waktu dengan semakin bertambahnya penduduk sehingga untuk mencukupi kebutuhan pangan, produksi beras harus ditingkatkan.  Meningkatnya permintaan akan beras sehingga mendorong perlunya melakukan teknik budidaya yaitu salah satunya adalah pemberian pupuk organik cair (POC) dengan memperhatikan frekuensi pemberiannya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh jenis dan dosis POC yang memberikan hasil yang paling baik pada tanaman padi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Balai Benih Tanaman Pangan, Hortikultura dan Perkebunan (UPT. BBTPH-BUN) Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan Kabupaten Maros pada bulan April sampai Agustus 2023. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) factorial 2 faktor, dimana faktor pertama jenis POC yang terdiri dari 2 jenis yaitu POC jerami padi dan POC bonggol pisang dan faktor kedua dosis POC yang terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu 10 ml/l, 20 ml/l dan 30 ml/l, setiap kombinasi terdiri 3 ulangan, setiap ulangan terdiri atas 6 perlakuan sehingga terdapat 18 perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis POC bonggol pisang dengan dosis 20 ml/l memberikan hasil paling baik pada pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman padi, pada tinggi tanaman sebanyak  105.5 cm, jumlah tanaman per rumpun 20.33 anakan, jumlah tanaman produktif per rumpun 17.67 anakan, panjang malai 24 cm, jumlah gabah per malai 166.33 bulir dan bobot 1000 butir 33 g. sedangkan jenis POC jerami padi dengan dosis 30 mL/l memberikan hasil yang paling baik terhadap parameter berat gabah per malai dengan nilai 5.11 g. Terdapat interaksi antara jenis dan dosis POC yang memberikan pengaruh terhadap jumlah tanaman per rumpun 20.33 anakan dan jumlah tanaman produktif per rumpun 17.67 anakan pada tanaman padi

    Racun Tiktok: Inspirasi Facecare di Kalangan Mahasiswi Kota Makassar

    Technological developments have made the world more borderless, information easier to obtain and in a short time, one of the information media is social media, including TikTok which is booming and provides a lot of information, including information about facecare. Recently, TikTok has become one of the most popular social media which displays not only facecare products, but also tips to contend with facecare. Using qualitative approach, this research was conducted in the city of Makassar. There are ten female students participated in this study, whose age ranging between 18 and 22 years old and who regularly use TikTok application and perform facecare. Data was collected using the combination of indepth interview and observation. The study shows that for female students, facecare is a series of activities that use a variety of products to maintain healthy faceskin and to deal with faceskin problems, so that it looks “glowing” (white, shining, smooth textured, and tight), like the skin of Korean artists which reflects the ideal Indonesian women's skin today. Even though there are lots of content presenting facecare products on TikTok, to choose a product, female students first understand their skin type, the variety of facecare products, look for products that are suitable for their skin type. Skin types vary from normal skin, oily skin, combination skin, or sensitive skin. In terms of product variety, facecare consists of two, namely: basic products and advanced products with their respective functions. While the former includes products for cleansing, toning, moisturizing, protecting, eye creaming, the latter consists of masking, seruming, essence, ampouling (ampoules), and acne spotting (acne spots) for those with acne. Uniquely, the facecare products used are not well-known brand facecare products, but new brand products that are popularized by TikTok. Meanwhile, they use trial and error method to find a product that suits their skin. Information and references from TikTok are taken into consideration in choosing facecare products. Female students use social media TikTok as a source of information for facecare because TikTok provides facecare content, because TikTok has reviews of facecare products, and because of peer influence. It is argued in this article that even though TikTok has become a source of information for facecare, the selection of facecare products is highly dependent on the compatibility of one's facial skin

    Tujuan riset ini buat mengenali akibat firm size dan pertumbuhan penjualan kepada profitabilitas. Obyek dalam riset ini merupakan industri manufaktur sub zona consumer goods industry di BEI 2018-2022. Riset ini terjalin disebabkan ada kejadian deflasi serta penurunan profitabilitas yang terjadi disebagian besar industri consumer good industry yang terdapat di BEI pada kurun waktu 5 tahun itu. Jenis riset ini merupakan riset kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data memakai tata cara purpose sampling. Riset ini memakai informasi dari BEI. Hasil riset membuktikan kalau secara parsial firm size berpengaruh negatif terhadap profitabilitas, artinya jika ukuran perusahaan meningkat maka profitabilitas akan menurun. Pertumbuhan penjualan berdampak negatif terhadap profitabilitas, artinya jika pertumbuhan penjualan meningkat, maka profitabilitas akan menurun. Ukuran perusahaan dan pertumbuhan penjualan secara simultan berpengaruh positif terhadap profitabilitas, artinya jika ukuran perusahaan dan pertumbuhan penjualan meningkat, maka profitabilitas juga akan meningkat

    Pembelajaran masa New Normal adalah kegiatan belajar mengajar yang dilakukan oleh hampir semua lembaga pendidikan yang merupakan dampak dari munculnya pandemi Covid-19. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan berkurangnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep serta kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam menyelesaikan suatu permasalahan. Khususnya pada materi Trigonometri yang merupakan salah satu materi yang penting untuk dipelajari siswa di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisa kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa yang memiliki kemampuan awal tinggi dan kemampuan awal sedang. Serta menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang memiliki kemampuan awal tinggi dan kemampuan awal sedang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan instrumen berupa soal tes dan wawancara yang diberikan kepada 2 subjek sesuai kriteria pemilihan subjek penelitian. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan diantaranya reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa subjek dengan kemampuan awal tinggi memenuhi semua indikator pemahaman konsep dan berpikir kritis, sedangkan subjek dengan kemampuan awal sedang tidak memenuhi semua indikator pemahaman konsep yaitu kemampuan memberi contoh dan bukan contoh, menyajikan konsep dalam bentuk representasi matematis, menggunakan dan memanfaatkan serta memilih prosedur tertentu, dan mengaplikasikan konsep ke pemecahan masalah. Sedangkan pada indikator berpikir kritis, subjek dengan kemampuan awal sedang tidak memenuhi indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis diantaranya analisis, evaluasi dan inferensi

    The Use of Instagram to Develop Students’ Writing Skill at SMK Darussalam Makassar

    One type of writing exercise that concentrate on describing people, places, things, emotions, and feelings is descriptive text. While Instagram is a platform for sharing emotions and experiences from daily life, recounting such events in class encourages students to utilize their imaginations to reflect on their own lives and events that have already happened. Therefore, Instagram can offer several helpful components to help students improve their writing skills. In this study, the data were analyzed by the researcher using a quantitative approach with pre-experimental research. It was the method that used one group pretest and post-test design. In one group pre-test and post- test design, used a single group to measure or observe. The population of this research was class X TKJ 1 at SMK Darussalam Makassar, and there were 28 students in the samples. Assessments (pre- and post-tests) were the instrument employed in this study. The statistical findings show that the students' average post-test score was higher than their average pre-test score (70.11), at 86.61. This analysis of the t-test indicates that the t-test's value (16.511) is higher than its value (1.703) with 24 as the degree of freedom. This indicates a significant difference. In light of the fact that Ho is disproved and H1 is widely accepted, it is possible to conclude that using Instagram as a teaching and learning tool can help students improve their capacity to create descriptive writing. Instagram is a great tool for English teachers to use as a teaching tool since it offers a variety of implementation materials to break up the monotony of teaching writing to students

    Pengaruh Lama Fermentasi Menggunakan Aspergillus Niger dan Urea Terhadap Kadar Nutrisi Ampas Sagu (Metroxylon sp)

    This research was carried out aiming to improve the nutritional quality of dregs sago (Metroxylon sp) through a fermentation process by utilizing the fungus Aspergillus niger. The treatment applied was the storage time of fermented dregs sago which consisted of 4 treatments and 3 replications thats is, P0 (without storage), P1 (7 days of storage), P2 (14 days of storage) and P3 (21 days of storage). The researched variables consisted of the percentage of crude fiber, crude protein and ekstract ether. Laboratory analysis data for each treatment obtained were tabulated in a table and analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) with the F test at the 5% level and continued with Duncan's test if parameters were found to be significantly different between treatments (Steel and Torrie, 1990). The results showed that there was a significant difference (P<0.05) in the percentage of crude fiber and ekstract ether, while the percentage of crude protein content did not show a significant difference (P>0.05). 0 days, 7 days, 14 days and 21 days affected the percentage of crude fiber and ekstract ether but did not affect the percentage of crude protein of fermented dregs sago

    The growth and production of green bean plants can be increased by improving the right cultivation techniques, namely the treatment of spacing and improving soil fertility by applying manure. This study aims to determine the spacing and type of manure as well as their interactions with the growth and production of green bean plants. This research was conducted in Kassi-Kassi Hamlet, Toddopulia Village, Tanralili District, Maros Regency. The time used in this study started from May to August 2022. This study used a factorial design method with a basic randomized block design , with 9 treatment combinations and repeated 3 times so that there were 27 units with the first factor, namely the application of distance plant 20x20, 20x30, 20x40 cm and the second factor is the application of chicken manure, cow manure and goat manure. The results showed that the spacing of 20x40 cm had a significant effect on plant height (102.89 cm) and flowering time (128.33 dap). While the application of chicken manure had a significant effect on the growth of the number of leaves (63.33 strands)
