The Moderating Role of Empathy in the Relationship Between Fanaticism and Cyberbullying Among Adolescent K-pop Fans on Social Media X
Cyberbullying is an aggressive act committed through the internet that has a negative impact on individuals. This phenomenon is often associated with the fanaticism of K-pop fans towards their idols, as seen in online disputes or 'fan wars'. Empathy, the ability to understand and share the feelings of others, is hypothesized to moderating this relationship. This study aimed to determine the role of empathy in the relationship between fanaticism and cyberbullying behavior tendencies among adolescent K-pop fans. A quantitative method was employed, using Hayes Process Model 1 and quadratic regression analysis on 217 respondents aged 12-23 who were K-pop fans and users of social media platform X. The results showed that empathy significantly moderated the relationship between fanaticism and cyberbullying tendencies among adolescent K-pop fans, with a significant moderation index (int_1) of -2.094 (
Pengembangan Media Flannel Board Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Simbolik Pada Kelompok Usia 4-5 Tahun
Media dalam prespektif pendidikan merupakan instrumen yang sangat strategis dalam ikut menentukan keberhasilan proses belajar mengajar. Sebab keberadaannya secara langsung dapat memberikan dinamika tersendiri terhadap peserta didik. Kegiatan pembelajaran di TK Pertiwi Kabupaten Jember, guru hanya menjelaskan dan menyebutkan materi tanpa menggunakan media tambahan untuk mengajar sehingga membuat anak tidak fokus dan mengerti akan materi yang dijelaskan oleh guru. Tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan media flannel board untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir simbolik pada anak dan untuk mengetahui efektifitas penerapan pengembangan media flannel board untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir simbolik pada anak. Tahap analisis untuk mengetahu kebutuhan apa yang diperlukan oleh sekolah. Tahap desain untuk merancang media pembelajaran dan rancangan kegiatan. Tahap pengembangan untuk uji validitas terhadap desan yang telah disusun. Tahap implementasi untuk mempraktikkan secara langsung media yang telah dirancang. Metode yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, validasi. Hasil penelitian menggunakan hasil uji validitas ahli dengan skor rata-rata secara keseluruhan 4,23 dengan kategori valid. Uji kepraktisan dengan skor rata-rata 4,17 dengan kriteria valid. Uji keefektifan dengan skor rata-rata 80,5 dengan kriteria efektif
Comparing Maternal and Paternal Parenting in Student Academic Performance: A Systematic Literature Review From 2013 To 2023
Students’ academic success is significantly associated with parents. Given the varied effects of parenting on student academic performance, it is a strong need for independent research on the impact of maternal parenting and paternal parenting to learn more about the mechanisms of parenting influence. By systematically reviewing the literature from 2013 to 2023, this study aims to provide the landscape of maternal parenting and paternal parenting as well as to compare the effect of them on student academic performance. The results revealed insufficient published studies in the field and uneven research in terms of geographic distribution, the volume of studies, and the stage of student learning. The analysis found that the effects of maternal and paternal parenting were both controversial. Regarding the manners, involvement level, time spending, and the effect size, the influence of maternal parenting and paternal parenting on student academic performance were distinguished significantly. These findings are not only helpful to reveal the mechanism of maternal and paternal parenting differences on student academic performance, but also provide practical guidance for schools and parent
The Role of Educational Leaders in Enhancing Educational Transformation
This research explored how educational leaders contribute to educational transformation including university leaders, school principals, policymakers, and administrators. This study focused on identifying leadership qualities, strategies for innovation, and methods for overcoming challenges in achieving sustainable change in the educational sector. The study employed a qualitative method where the documents, articles, books, and official statements related to this research were analyzed to get reliable data. Educational transformation is essential to meet the demands of an ever-evolving global landscape, that requires a shift from traditional practices to more dynamic, inclusive, and future-ready approaches. This research work explores the critical role of educational leaders in driving and sustaining transformative change within educational systems. As key agents of change, educational leaders as well as administrators, policymakers, and institutional heads play a central role in reimagining curricula, fostering innovation, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Through literature review, the research highlights successful strategies and leadership practices that have facilitated impactful educational transformation across various contexts. The findings emphasize the necessity of visionary leadership to build resilient educational systems capable of adapting to social, economic, and technological shifts. Hubungan Pola Asuh Orang Tua dengan Pola Makan Anak Kelompok B di TK Kemala Bhayangkari 11 Tumpang
Orang tua memiliki peran yang sangat penting terhadap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak. Namun masih banyak orang tua yang terlalu sibuk dengan kepentingannya sehingga membuat perannya sebagai orang tua terlalaikan. Kesibukan orang tua ini menyebabkan kurangnya perhatian terhadap anak, salah satunya yaitu kurang memperhatikan pola makan anak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan pola asuh orang tua dengan pola makan anak kelompok B di TK Kemala Bhayangkari 11 Tumpang. Metode penelitian ini yaitu penelitian korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh orang tua dari peserta didik kelompok B di TK Kemala Bhayangkari 11 Tumpang dengan jumlah 30 responden. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan uji Spearman Rank. Hasil penelitian dengan pengujian Spearman Rank diperoleh nilai value sebesar 0,002 , sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan pola makan anak kelompok B di TK Kemala Bhayangkari 11 Tumpang. Dari hasil penelitian diharapkan orang tua dapat menambah pengetahuan mengenai pola asuh dan pola makan anak
Pengembangan Integritas Akademik Mahasiswa Melalui Praktik Belajar Studi Kasus
Academic ethics are supposed to be followed by the academic community, but certain members are engaging in practices that are against these rules and ethics. Students can easily be influenced by these violators to commit the same act. A more efficient approach is necessary for instilling academic integrity among students. The purpose of this study is to analyze case-study-based learning techniques that can enhance academic integrity among students. The role of academic integrity is crucial in shaping individuals to be honest, fair, and ethical when carrying out their academic duties. Academic integrity is linked to the presence of faculty role models, student morality, and the incorporation of religious teachings, as demonstrated by similar research.This study will examine instructional design using Merrill's model and artificial intelligence to generate learning cases that instill academic integrity values in students Preliminary results from ongoing research suggest that utilizing a case-based approach with artificial intelligence can enhance students' understanding and application of academic integrity. Achieving academic integrity among students can be achieved through case-based learning practices that are powered by artificial intelligence. Students can internalize academic integrity values and apply them in their academic activities through the integration of Merrill's instructional design model.
Abstrak
Etika akademik seharusnya ditaati oleh komunitas akademik, tetapi beberapa individu melakukan praktik-praktik yang bertentangan dengan peraturan dan etika ini. Mahasiswa dapat dengan mudah dipengaruhi oleh para pelaku pelanggaran ini untuk melakukan tindakan yang sama. Pendekatan yang lebih tepat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan integritas akademik di kalangan mahasiswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang teknik pembelajaran berbasis studi kasus yang dapat meningkatkan integritas akademik di kalangan mahasiswa untuk membiasakan bersikap jujur, adil, dan beretika dalam menjalankan tugas-tugas akademiknya. Integritas akademik terkait dengan adanya keteladanan dari dosen, moralitas mahasiswa, dan penerapan ajaran agama, seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh penelitian sebelumnya. Penelitian ini akan mengkaji desain instruksional dengan model instruksional Merrill dan menggunakan kecerdasan buatan untuk menghasilkan kasus pembelajaran yang dapat menanamkan nilai-nilai integritas akademik pada mahasiswa. Hasil awal dari penelitian yang sedang berlangsung menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pendekatan berbasis kasus dengan kecerdasan buatan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan penerapan integritas akademik pada mahasiswa. Tercapainya integritas akademik di kalangan mahasiswa dapat diwujudkan melalui praktik pembelajaran berbasis kasus yang didukung dengan kecerdasan buatan. Developing animated video-based learning with powtoon to foster critical thinking in data presentation
Critical thinking is a vital skill for students to interpret data and make informed decisions, especially in data presentation. This study focuses on developing and evaluating animated video-based learning content using Powtoon software to enhance critical thinking skills in data presentation, following the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate) instructional design model. In the Analyze phase, a needs assessment was conducted to identify gaps in students' critical thinking skills regarding data interpretation. During the Design and Develop phases, instructional videos were created to target key critical thinking components, including analysis, interpretation, and evaluation. In the Implement phase, the content was introduced to an experimental group, with a control group using traditional instructional methods. A quasi-experimental approach with pre- and post-tests measured critical thinking improvements in both groups. Results demonstrated a significant increase in critical thinking abilities within the experimental group, with mean scores improving from 55.2 to 82.4, compared to the control group’s increase from 54.8 to 65.3. The study concludes that Powtoon-animated videos are an effective tool for fostering critical thinking in data presentation, offering practical implications for multimedia-assisted learning in mathematics education. Recommendations for further research on technology integration in education are discussed
PROJECT PENANGANAN SAMPAH MASKER BERBASIS STEM PADA TOPIK PENCEMARAN LINGKUNGAN TERHADAP CREATIVE AND CRITICAL THINKING SISWA SMA
Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Project-Based Learning (PjBL) berbasis STEM pada topik pencemaran lingkungan terhadap creative and critical thinking siswa SMA. Permasalahan sampah masker di Indonesia sepanjang pandemi COVID-19 jumlahnya meningkat 30% hingga 50%. Sampah masker seringkali ditemukan di TPS dengan volume yang terus bertambah. Masalah sampah masker memerlukan adanya sinergitas berbagai elemen masyarakat dengan peran yang berbeda-beda. Adanya institusi Pendidikan (sekolah) memiliki peran penting dalam memberikan kontribusi besar untuk memulai gerakan penanganan sampah masker. Memadukan model PjBL berbasis STEM efektif untuk menangani masalah sampah masker yang dapat memunculkan creative and critical thinking yang baik. Jenis penelitian ini quasi eksperiment menggunakan dua kelas uji dengan pretest-posttest control group design. Tahapan penelitian dimulai merumuskan masalah hingga menarik kesimpulan dengan hasil penelitian kelas eksperimen memiliki tingkat creative and critical thinking kategori tinggi, sedangkan kelas kontrol kategori sedang. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini diharapkan model PjBL-STEM dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran Biologi agar siswa terlatih keterampilan creative and critical thinking.
Abstract. This study aims to determine the effect of the STEM-based Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on the topic of environmental pollution on the creative and critical thinking of high school students. The problem of mask waste in Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic has increased by 30% to 50%. Mask waste is often found in TPS with an increasing volume. The mask waste problem requires the synergy of various elements of society with different roles. Educational institutions (schools) have an important role in making a major contribution to starting a movement to handle mask waste. Combining the STEM-based PjBL model is effective for handling the mask waste problem, which can bring out good creative and critical thinking. This type of research is a quasi-experiment using two test classes with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research stages begin to formulate the problem until drawing conclusions with the results of the experimental class research having a high level of creative and critical thinking, while the control class is in the medium category. Recommendations from this study are expected that the PjBL-STEM model can be applied in learning biology so that students are trained in creative and critical thinking skills
PENGEMBANGAN MODUL PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI TERINTEGRASI NILAI KEISLAMAN PADA SISWA MAN
Asbtrak. Dunia pendidikan sangat mempengaruhi prilaku seseorang pola pendidikan di Indonesia terlalu mengedepankan kecerdasan intektual dan materialisme dan mengabaikan kecerdasan emosional dan spiritual. Ilmu biologi perlu dipahami dan dikaitkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dengan melihat secara nyata pada alam sekitar. Pengamatan terhadap alam sekitar merupakan suatu kegiatan yang perlu dilakukan oleh seorang yang beragama. Dengan memperhatikan alam sekitar berarti seseorang sedang memperhatikan keteraturan ciptaan tuhan atau memperhatikan tanda-tanda kekuasaan Allah SWT. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah agar dihasilkannnya modul pembelajaran biologi materi terintegrasi nilai keislaman yang layak digunakan, memenuhi kebutuhan pendidik dalam menyajikan bahan ajar dan kebutuhan peserta didik dalam memahami materi pembelajaran dengan modul yang efektif untuk digunakan, serta membentuk karakter peserta didik MAN, agar menjadi generasi penerus yang berakhlak mulia, berjiwa sosial tinggi, berilmu pengetahuan, serta menjadi pribadi yang terampil. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Review artikel. Data diperoleh dari hasil penelitian terdahulu yang relevan dengan tujuan penelitian yang ingin dicapai. Sumber data dari penelitian ini diambil dari hasil pencarian pada Google Scholar dan Google Books dengan kata kunci “Pengembangan Modul”, “Terintegrasi Nilai Keislaman”, “Pengaruh Modul Terintegrasi Nilai Keislaman”. Referensi yang akan diambil dipilih berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi. Berdasarkan hasil review terhadap beberapa artikel dan berdasarkan data hasil penelitian dari peneliti terdahulu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul pembelajaran terintegrasi nilai keislaman layak untuk di gunakan. Beberapa data hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul yang digunakan layak digunakan dilihat dari respon peserta didik terhadap modul, kepraktisan modul, pengaruh modul terhadap karakter maupun kemampuan afektif siswa, serta pengaruh modul terhadap kemampuan kogntif siswa. Modul pembelajaran biologi terintegrasi nilai keislaman perlu untuk terus dikembangkan agar dapat digunakan secara optimal oleh peserta didik. Modul dapat dibuat dengan cara lebih kreatif agar dapat menarik perhatian siswa. Modul yang terintegrasi nilai keislaman perlu didukung oleh penyajian materi yang mudah dipahami, desain yang menarik, dan unsur-unsur lainnya yang dapat menjadikan modul disenangi oleh peserta didik.
Abstract. The world of education greatly influences a person's behavior. The pattern of education in Indonesia is too immersed in intellectual intelligence and materialism and ignores emotional and spiritual intelligence. Biology needs to be understood and related to everyday life by seeing the real world around us. Observation of the natural surroundings is an activity that needs to be carried out by a religious person. Paying attention to the natural surroundings means that someone is paying attention to the orderliness of God's creation or paying attention to the signs of Allah's power. The purpose of this research is to produce biology learning modules integrated with Islamic values that are suitable for use, meet the needs of educators in presenting learning materials and the needs of students in understanding learning materials with effective modules to use, as well as shape the character of MAN students, so that they become the next generation who having noble character, high social spirit, knowledgeable, and being a tough individual. The research method used is the article review method. Data obtained from the results of previous studies that are relevant to the research objectives to be achieved. The data source for this research was taken from search results on Google Scholar and Google Books with the keywords "Module development”, “Integrated Islamic Values”, “The Influence of Integrated Islamic Values Modules”. References to be taken are selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Based on the results of a review of several articles and based on research data from previous researchers, it can be concluded that the Islamic values integrated learning module is feasible to use. Some of the research data shows that the module used is feasible to use seen from the students' responses to the module, the practicality module, the effect of the module on students' character and affective abilities, and the effect of the module on students' cognitive abilities. Biology learning modules integrated with Islamic values need to be continuously developed so that they can be used optimally by students. Modules can be made in a more creative way in order to attract students' attention. Modules that integrate Islamic values need to be supported by easy-to-understand presentation of material, attractive designs, and other elements that can make the modules liked by students
