<論文>長期統計を用いた中国人口の時系列モデルの推定と短期将来人口の予測

中国国家統計局の推計によれば、2021年末現在の中国の総人口は14億1260万人であり、前年から48万人だけ増加したに過ぎない。出生率は7.52‰で、建国以来最低となった。中国では少子高齢化が急速に進行しており、人口減少がいつ始まっても不思議ではない。本稿の目的は、国家統計局が公表している建国以来の長期人口統計 (1949-2021 年 ) に基づき、人口の時系列モデルを Levenberg-Marquardt 法の非線形最小2乗アルゴリズムを用いて推定し、短期 (2022-28 年 ) 人口の予測値と95％ ・68％予測区間を求めることである。分析の結果、定数項を含まない ARIMA(3,1,1) が良好に推定され、将来人口を表3、 表4のように予測することができた。中国において COVID-19 の影響は急激かつ深刻であり、早ければ 2022 年から人口減少に転じる可能性は否定できない。The total population of China at the end of 2021 was 1412.6 million. The total population has only increased by 480,000. The birth rate was 7.52 ‰ , the lowest since the country was founded. With China’s declining birthrate and aging population becoming more serious, it is no wonder that the population begins to decline at any time. The purpose of this treatise is to estimate a time-series model (ARIMA model) of the Chinese population using long-term statistical data (1949-2021) and to predict the short-term (2022-2028) population. Finally, ARIMA (3,1,1) without a constant term could be well estimated by the nonlinear least squares method. As a result of the analysis, the predicted values of the population and the 95% / 68% forecast intervals in China are estimated as shown in Tables 3 and 4. Scince the impact of COVID-19 in China is rapid and serious, it is undeniable that the population may decline from 2022 at the earliest

近代性の比較研究への社会システム理論的アプローチ

This paper aims to explore a sociological perspective for the contemporary world. Among others, this paper focuses on the comparative study of modernity. Although modernity is one of the most crucial concepts in sociology, it has not been well defined both inside and outside sociology. Therefore, this paper questions how the comparative study of modernity is possible through sociological theory. Out of all sociological theories, this paper takes a perspective from systems theory because it can provide us with an effective analytical tool to see things differently. Then the concept of modernity can be reinterpreted as follows:First, according to Niklas Luhmann, society is redescribed as a single social system consisting of communication. This alternative definition of society enables us to grasp modernity as plural. It is the starting point to distinguish between modernity and modernization. Second, in systems theory, rationality is understood as falling under the term“system rationality.”Here,“system rationality”is reinterpreted as the improvement of the cognitive capacity of social systems. Finally, by asking what kind of cognitive schema enables society to improve the cognitive ability of social systems, we can compare modernities as multiple.In conclusion, sociological systems theory can offer a way to observe the variety of modernities by the newly defined concept of “system rationality.

CLIL を取り入れた英語の授業

本研究では CLIL を取り入れた英語の授業について小学校を対象に調査した。研究課題は以下の 3 つとした。１．小学校における CLIL 実践の現状と課題は何か。２．小学校教員は CLIL についてどのような考えを持っているか。３．小学校の英語の授業における CLIL の可能性は何か。杉並区立 S 小学校と東村山市立 K 小学校の教員合計 24 名にアンケート調査を実施し、CLIL についての知識・考えについての意識調査と小学校の英語の授業に関する教員の意識調査の 2 つに分けて作成した質問項目に答えてもらった。調査の結果、CLIL 導入に関わらず、現場の状況を理解したうえで、人員の確保や教材の開発、授業例の共有などが必要である。現状のままだと、外国語活動と外国語の差があまり明確ではない。また、CLIL の認知度がまだ低いため、まずは CLIL の実践例を報告し CLILの成果・効果を教員に知ってもらい、教員が CLIL の知識をつけることが必要である。小学校で CLIL を行うにあたって、現在懸念材料となっている「教師の負担」と「教員の英語力」を払拭することが必要である。その解決策として、教材や単元指導計画の作成を行い、実践例を共有しやすいシステムの構築を行うことと、英語専科の教員の動員を行い、ティーム・ティーチングを行うなどが挙げられる
