    Building Local Wisdom Identity through Panas Pela in Molucas

    The world has moved towards civilization with high technological advancements. Modernization moves towards homogeneous change. Known as a rich country in culture does not make Indonesia free from dispute. Currently some major conflicts that have occurred are based on ethnics, religion, race, and intergroup (SARA). According that, Indonesia needs to strengthen in character and national identity (national building). Panas Pela appears as a role to strenghten the bond between communities with different backgrounds. Panas pela is a binding oath between two or more villages in the form of sacred ceremony. It also acts as a form of cultural preservation to the younger generation as its successor. This study uses a qualitative method which is obtained through participant observation with the live in technique on ethnographic studies. This research is expected to be a reference to revive the identity of local wisdom and develop human resources in Southeast Asia

    Stunting still become one of the common health problem. Toddler stunting prevalence in Indonesia according to Indonesian Ministry of Health 2018 was 30,8 % that’s mean very high based on WHO categories. A serious effort is needed to reduce the stunting rate, one way is through complementary food. One of the factors in giving complementary food is the economy, concerning purchasing power and food availability. There for Innovation in weaning food in the form of “Burlang” become of alternative way to reduce stunting. The formulation with the best acceptance by panelists is formulation 1 (90%). Friedman test results of the statistical test p value <0.025 there is a significant difference between the formulations and indicates the giving of a Javanese Grasshopper powder influential on acceptance. “Burlang” can be functional food by determine the acceptability of Javanese Grasshopper for toddler by adding dry powder form of Javanese Grasshopper as the purpose of this research

    The main commodities and culture of Gajah Village are sweet potato and ”Festival Gajah-gajahan”. However, residents in Gajah Village still cannot process sweet potatoes into economic goods, besides that the population also still has a high school dropout rate. Therefore, the author gave an innovation in the form of "Festival Ubi Gajah" through community empowerment. The purpose of writing this scientific paper is to find out a general description of the community in Gajah Village, so that it is aligned with the "Festival Ubi Gajah" program and knows the mechanism for implementing the "Festival Ubi Gajah" program. The theory used is processed agricultural products and community empowerment. The research method used is qualitative by taking data through interviews, observation, and literary studies. The target of this activity is teenagers in Gajah Village. The results of this activity are expected to be able to help the community in increasing the selling value of sweet potato as agricultural products and reducing the rate of drop out in Gajah Village, Ponorogo

    Alat Tanam Biji Jagung Otomatis called ALTABATIS which uses the Centrifugal Mechanics Pressure Method is an innovation that provides a solution to the problem of corn farmers in Blengorwetan village. The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of tools with test variables, namely land area and time. So we get the value of time efficiency and operational costs of the tool by comparing conventional workmanship. This research consists of several methods, namely the design method, method of making tools and testing methods. Testing using simulation or experimental methods in the village of Blengorwetan. From the test results obtained that using ALTABATIS can save time and operational costs by 78%

    An Analysis of The Effects of Maternal Characteristics on Toddler Nutritional Status in Melati I Posyandu North Bekasi

    This study aims to determine the relationship between maternal characteristics and the nutritional status of toddlers.This study uses secondary data, with a sample size of 117 data. This study uses a total sampling method. Bivariate analysis yields values for maternal parity (p-value = 0.188), maternal participation in posyandu (p-value = 0.003), maternal education (p-value = 0.024), maternal age (p-value = 0.001), and working status of mothers (p-value = 0.220). Meanwhile, the militivariate analysis yields values for participation of mothers in posyandu (p-value = 0.008; OR = 6.34; CI95% = 1.7 - 27.9), education (p-value = 0.013; OR = 4.42; CI95% = 1.3 - 14.3), and age (p-value = 0.001; OR = 7.33; CI95% = 2.2 - 23.6). Based on the results of multivariate analysis, maternal age is the characteristic most related to the nutritional status of toddlers

    The involvement of foreign airlines in Indonesian domestic flights was launched by the Government as a solution to reduce the price of expensive domestic aeroplane tickets to reap the pros and cons in the society. The participation of foreign airlines is expected to make a competitive climate to increase national airline services. This study aims to determine the suitability and appropriateness of foreign airline involvement policies at domestic flights routes in accordance with international law and national law perspectives. The research method used doctrinal legal research that is prescriptive in nature through literature studies using data analysis techniques related to the themes discussed. The novelty of this study to know about the policy is appropriately implemented as long as there are mechanisms and conditions agreed upon between the Indonesian Government and foreign airlines. The implementation of this policy requires clear legal regulation because was not allowed by international and national law principles

The method used is descriptive qualitative by collecting data through observation, interviews, and literature. Pringsang is a chips made from solid waste tofu; the waste of tofu production that is disturb the environment. However, the chips production doesn’t have great taste and it make consumer be bored. Pringsang chips need an innovation of pranging chips with the addition of local flavors variant. This chip could be developed into more variants using local seasonings from famous Lombok dishes to provide better flavors with local taste

    Marriage is one of the sacred and noble pre-social institutions in achieving the goal of creating a family full of love, virtue, and mutual support for others. The social and cultural conditions that developed in Gresik were thick with the spirit of Islam which was proven through activities that were valid and developed in the community. One of them is Pencak Macan. This tradition is often held during weddings, especially in the Lumpur Village, Gresik. This is one of the efforts through the idea of the Art-Religion Tourism Village as an adaptive step in internalizing Islamic values contained in Pencak Macan. The theoretical foundation used in this scientific paper uses functionalism theory, then analyzed using a SWOT analysis. These results then became a practical basis in determining the pattern of distribution of Islamic and Indonesian values through the idea of an Art-Religion Tourism Village

    Factors that Influence Revenue-Based Financing in Islamic Banking in Indonesia

    There are only 13 Islamic banks operating in Indonesia, compared to 102 conventional banks, although it holds status as world’s largest Muslim population. This research focuses on revenue-based financing in Islamic banking whose potential to Indonesia’s economy remains underexplored. This paper analyzes five factors that influence revenue-based financing: profit sharing rate, financing to deposit ratio, capital adequacy ratio, nonperforming financing, and Bank Indonesia Sharia Certificate (SBIS). Using multiple linear regression, this paper examines the data from quarterly financial reports during 2011-2017 of nine Islamic banks as the sample. This paper finds that financing to deposit ratio and SBIS have the positive influence. Regression estimation results shows the model prediction capability of 46.9%, while the remaining 53.1% is influenced by variables outside the model. Future studies might extend observation period and research scope to examine the contribution of revenue-based financing to country’s economy further
