    SISTEM PEMETAAN DAN KLASTERISASI TPS DI KOTA MALANG DENGAN ALGORITMA K-MEANS++

    Sampah merupakan salah satu permasalahan penting yang terus meningkat seiring bertambahnya penduduk. Kota Malang sebagai wilayah yang padat penduduk dan menjadi pusat pendidikan menghadapi tantangan dalam pengelolaan sampah. DLH Kota Malang hanya memiliki 45 truk pengangkut sampah yang melayani 64 TPS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sistem pemetaan dan klasterisasi TPS menggunakan algoritma K-Means++ dengan tiga parameter yaitu, volume sampah, jarak ke TPA, dan rata-rata jarak untuk melihat kedekatan antar TPS. K-Means++ menjadi solusi dari kelemahan K-Means yang memiliki ketergantungan pada pemilihan centroid secara acak. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian blackbox menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat berjalan sesuai skenario dan fungsi aplikasi beroperasi dengan baik. Pengujian menggunakan Silhouette score menghasilkan nilai 0,31 yang menunjukkan bahwa clustering cukup baik meskipun masih ada potensi untuk meningkatkan pemisahan antar cluster. Saran pengembangan meliputi fine-tining berupa inisialisasi centroid dan preprocessing data. Selain itu, pengembangan aplikasi berbasis android juga disarankan untuk memudahkan akses bagi petuga DLH Kota Malang

    Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi repositori data terpadu guna mendukung pengelolaan data akreditasi dan Indikator Kinerja Utama (IKU) di Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (FMIPA), Universitas Sam Ratulangi (Unsrat). Sistem ini dirancang untuk mempermudah pengumpulan, pengolahan, dan pemantauan data yang relevan dengan proses akreditasi dan pencapaian IKU, sehingga meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi dan akurasi pelaporan. Metode prototype digunakan dalam pengembangan aplikasi ini untuk memungkinkan iterasi yang cepat berdasarkan umpan balik pengguna. Prototipe awal dikembangkan melalui tahap analisis kebutuhan, desain antarmuka, implementasi fitur utama, dan pengujian sistem. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini mampu menyediakan platform yang user-friendly dengan fitur unggulan seperti manajemen dokumen terpusat, visualisasi data IKU, dan pengingat otomatis untuk pembaruan data. Implementasi sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pengelolaan data di FMIPA Unsrat dan mendukung pencapaian standar mutu pendidikan yang lebih baik

    Effective asset inventory management is a critical challenge for government agencies, including the Secretariat Office of Barito Kuala Regency. Inefficiencies in this process often result in inaccuracies in record-keeping, delays in reporting, and difficulties in real-time asset tracking. This study aims to develop an optimized web-based asset inventory management model by applying the Design Thinking approach to address these issues. Through the Empathize phase, it was identified that the error rate in asset record-keeping reached 25%, reporting delays extended up to 72 hours, and 35% of assets could not be tracked in real-time. In the Define phase, these issues were formulated into a need for a more accurate, efficient, and real-time accessible asset management system. The proposed solutions included the development of a web-based record-keeping system, a real-time tracking module utilizing Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, and an automated reporting feature integrated with the audit system. Testing results indicated that the new system successfully reduced record-keeping errors by 90%, shortened reporting times from 72 hours to 6 hours, and improved asset tracking efficiency by 83.3%. Users provided positive feedback, with the system achieving an average System Usability Scale score of 84.5, classified as "excellent." In conclusion, the optimized web-based asset inventory management model developed through the Design Thinking approach has proven effective in addressing key issues, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and user satisfaction, and holds significant potential for adoption by other government agencies

    Sistem Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru Terintegrasi Virtual Account Berbasis Web Pada SMK Sasmita Jaya

    Sistem Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) berbasis web dikembangkan untuk mengatasi tantangan administrasi di SMK Sasmita Jaya, seperti lamanya proses pendaftaran manual, tingginya tingkat kesalahan dalam pengelolaan data, dan keterbatasan aksesibilitas bagi calon siswa. Sistem ini diimplementasikan menggunakan React TypeScript untuk frontend dan backend, yang menjamin keamanan tipe serta kemudahan pemeliharaan. Fitur utama yang disediakan meliputi pendaftaran online, verifikasi dokumen otomatis, dan integrasi pembayaran melalui virtual account, menggantikan metode pembayaran manual tradisional. Integrasi virtual account memungkinkan rekonsiliasi transaksi secara otomatis, sehingga beban kerja staf administrasi dapat berkurang secara signifikan. Sistem ini tidak hanya meningkatkan efisiensi tetapi juga memperbaiki akurasi proses penerimaan peserta didik. Metodologi pengembangan sistem menggunakan pendekatan Agile, yang memungkinkan perbaikan secara iteratif serta memastikan sistem dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna dengan efektif. Pengujian menyeluruh dilakukan untuk memastikan keandalan dan keamanan sistem, terutama dalam menangani transaksi keuangan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini mampu mengurangi waktu pemrosesan pendaftaran hingga 50%, menurunkan tingkat kesalahan administrasi sebesar 40%, dan meningkatkan kepuasan pengguna hingga 85%. Indikator-indikator ini menegaskan keberhasilan sistem dalam mengatasi tantangan administrasi sekolah serta menunjukkan manfaat digitalisasi di institusi pendidikan. Melalui integrasi teknologi modern, sistem PPDB ini mendukung proses penerimaan peserta didik yang lebih efisien dan mulus, sekaligus menawarkan pengalaman yang lebih mudah diakses dan ramah pengguna bagi calon siswa maupun staf administrasi. Sistem ini dapat menjadi model bagi institusi lain yang ingin menerapkan teknologi serupa untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional mereka

    STUDENT TEACHERS’ CHALLENGES AND STRATEGIES IN TEACHING ENGLISH TO YOUNG LEARNERS

    This qualitative research aims to describe the challenges faced by student teachers from the English Department during the Kampus Mengajar program and the strategies they employed to overcome those challenges. The study utilized a qualitative method with a case study approach to conduct an in-depth investigation. The research involved four participants, with two enrolled in Kampus Mengajar Batch 6 and the other two in Batch 7. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with the participating student teachers and supporting documentation. Thematic analysis by Braun and Clarke was employed to analyze the data. The findings revealed that participants encountered several challenges while teaching English to young learners, which were categorized into challenges arising from the school environment and those stemming from the student teachers themselves. The study also identified various strategies used to address these challenges, including self-management strategies, strategies tailored to student characteristics, and varying teaching strategies. Additionally, the findings suggested that student teachers require guidance from lecturers to ensure that the strategies they implement align with the demands of Teaching English to Young Learners (TEYL) coursework

    DESAIN SISTEM PREDIKSI POTENSI BENCANA ALAM (SIPEBALAM) KABUPATEN BANYUASIN PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN

    Abstract  Banyuasin Regency has about 80% of its territory in the form of wetlands, which makes most of its area vulnerable to disasters, especially climate-related disasters such as floods, droughts, tornadoes, and fires. Therefore, it is important to know the severity of the disaster so that the community can implement effective countermeasures to minimize losses. This study uses the Naive Bayes classification method, which is known to have high accuracy. The development of the system is carried out using the waterfall method. This research resulted in an design of a prediction system for potential natural disasters in Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province. This system displays the categories of disaster severity, namely mild, moderate, and severe so that it can assist the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) in improving the efficiency of resource allocation and determining the right handling steps. Keywords: Classification, Disaster Severity, Naïve Bayes, Waterfall, Banyuasin Abstrak  Kabupaten Banyuasin memiliki sekitar 80% wilayahnya berupa lahan basah, yang menyebabkan sebagian besar wilayahnya rentan terhadap bencana, terutama bencana terkait iklim seperti banjir, kekeringan, angin puting beliung, dan kebakaran. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk mengetahui tingkat keparahan bencana agar masyarakat dapat menerapkan langkah-langkah penanggulangan yang efektif untuk meminimalkan kerugian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode klasifikasi Naive Bayes, yang dikenal memiliki akurasi tinggi. Pengembangan sistem dilakukan dengan metode waterfall. Penelitian ini menghasilkan desain sistem prediksi potensi bencana alam di Kabupaten Banyuasin, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan.     Ethnomathematics in Traditional Farming Systems in Pegalongan Village, Patikraja

    Pegalongan village is located in the south of Purwokerto city and the majority of the population work as farmers. Rice farming in this area is an important part of local culture and tradition, as well as a major source of livelihood for the local community. The purpose of this study is to find the mathematical elements hidden in the operation of rice farming and the philosophical value contained in it. To understand how rice farming communities use mathematics in their cultural context, this study used a descriptive qualitative ethnographic approach. The research involved farmers and farm labourers. The focus of the research includes the planting land, and the process of planting rice, the cultivation of the farmers in the form of mimiti and mbawoni. Data was collected through direct observation of farmers, documentation, and in-depth interviews. Data were analysed thematically to find key themes related to ethnomathematics in rice cultivation. These themes included the use of mathematics in agricultural activities, the use of traditional tools and units of measurement, and agricultural processes rooted in local culture. The study also emphasised that ethnomathematics should be part of the education curriculum to improve students' understanding. The results showed that mathematical concepts such as arithmetic, and measurement can be applied in land cultivation. The results show that local knowledge is critical to agricultural practices, and how ethnomathematics can be incorporated into the education curriculum to improve students' understanding of mathematics in a cultural context

    The Role of Interactive e-Modules Based on Realistic Mathematics Education to Improve Mathematical Representation Ability

    Excellent mathematical representation ability is needed by students to develop and deepen understanding and relationships between mathematical concepts. Therefore, the teacher has the responsibility to create learning that encourages mathematical representation ability. The existence of interactive e-modules with a realistic mathematic education approach makes it easy for students to learn interactively and adapt to different students' mathematical abilities. This study aims to determine the improvement of mathematical representation ability from the use of interactive e-modules with realistic mathematics education approach. This research is a quantitative research conducted on seventh grade students of SMPN 18 Banda Aceh which is divided into experimental and control classes. The data analysis technique used was analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by t-test. The results showed that students' mathematical representation ability in the experimental class was better than the control class. The interaction between the use of E-modules and students' initial mathematical ability on mathematical representation ability showed that the use of E-modules and early mathematical ability together had a significant effect on improving mathematical representation ability. Students who have high early math ability have a great influence if given treatment in the form of using RME-based e-modules. Students with low early mathematical ability did not experience significant improvement. Interactive e-modules with the RME approach can be used to improve mathematical representation skills by considering students' early mathematical abilities

    Mathematics Learning Problem Based Learning Model in Improving Students' Mathematical Representation Ability: A Meta-Analysis

    This research aims to examine the effect size of studies that discuss the application of the Problem Based Learning model as an effort to improve students' mathematical representation skills. The statistical procedures used in this study were based on the meta-analysis procedures namely: (a) calculating the effect size of each primary study; (b) conducting heterogeneity tests and selecting estimation models; (c) check for publication bias; (d) calculate the p-value to test the research hypothesis. The primary studies used were 10 studies obtained from the Google Scholar search engine with publication years between 2018 and 2024. The results of statistical calculations showed that the overall effect size of the studies used was 0.600, which is included in the moderate effect size category with a standard deviation of 0.171. This finding means that the application of the Problem Based Learning model in mathematics learning has a  moderate influence on students' mathematical representation skills

    − Kegiatan PKM ini bertujuan untuk membantu Kelurahan Pangolombian, Kecamatan Tomohon Selatan, Kota Tomohon dalam membuat sistem/aplikasi pelayanan administrasi dan database kependudukan yang akan memudahkan baik pihak aparat maupun masyarakat dalam pengurusan administrasi sehingga lebih efektif lagi dalam pelayanan administrasi yang ada. Dalam pengembangannya, kegiatan ini akan menggunakan metode SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) yang terdiri dari lima tahap, yaitu analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, pengembangan, pengujian, dan implementasi. Selain itu, proposal ini juga akan menerapkan metode Waterfall yang akan membantu dalam mengatur tahapan-tahapan pengembangan website dengan lebih terstruktur. Dalam penerapan kegiatan ini, akan dilakukan analisis terhadap permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat dan pemerintah kelurahan/kelurahan dalam mengakses informasi kependudukan dan data kependudukan. Adapun hal lainnya terdapat permasalahan lainnya dalam proses pelayanan administrasi yang dapat membantu aparat kelurahan dalam pembuatan surat-menyurat dan lain sebagainya. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah pembuatan sistem pelayanan administrasi kependudukan yang dilengkapi dengan database kependudukan yang memudahkan masyarakat dalam mengakses informasi terkait kependudukan kelurahan dan data kependudukan. Kontribusi dari pembuatan website kependudukan kelurahan ini adalah memberikan akses informasi yang lebih mudah dan transparan kepada masyarakat tentang data kependudukan dan kependudukan kelurahan. Dengan adanya website ini, masyarakat dapat dengan mudah mengakses informasi dan mengambil keputusan yang tepat terkait dengan kebutuhan dan kepentingan mereka.
