    Exploration of Ethnomathematics in Batik Pandanwangi as a Source of Contextual Learning

    Ethnomathematics can serve as a bridge between school mathematics learning and everyday culture. Mathematical concepts found in cultural artifacts can be used as learning resources, allowing students to gain two or more types of knowledge simultaneously, at least in terms of culture and mathematics. Cianjur Regency is famous for Pandanwangi rice, known for its distinct fragrance. The uniqueness of Pandanwangi rice is expressed in batik. This study aims to explore the ethnomathematics present in Pandanwangi Batik, which can be utilized as a learning resource for teaching mathematical concepts. A qualitative research approach with an ethnographic method was employed to explore the mathematical concepts embedded in Pandanwangi Batik. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with traditional confectionery makers, and documentation of the production process. The study used a human instrument, where the researcher directly acted as the data collector by interacting with the research environment. Data collection techniques included observing the activities of batik-making, conducting interviews to understand cultural and mathematical aspects, and documenting patterns and processes involved. The research findings indicate that Pandanwangi Batik contains various ethnomathematical concepts, including proportions (e.g., proportionality, equivalent ratios, inverse ratios), number patterns, geometry, geometric transformations (translation, reflection, rotation), and social arithmetic. These mathematical concepts are derived from the production process, crafting techniques, patterns, and sales outcomes of the batik

    Informasi pegawai merupakan suatu data yang sangat diperlukan didalam sebuah organisasi, perusahaan maupun lembaga. Adapun informasi pegawai umumnya merupakan data karyawan, data gaji, data cuti, data mutasi, dan data pegawai yang berhenti (resign). Proses sistem yang berjalan saat ini di RS Bhayangkara Mohamad Hasan Palembang menggunakan sistem konvensional yaitu menggunakan aplikasi Ms. Excel dan menggunakan metode dokumentasi pembukuan buku besar. Dalam proses input masih ditemukan kesalahan akibat human error dan penginputan data yang tidak terstruktur.Untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan diatas sehingga dirancanglah sebuah sistem aplikasi berbasis website yang dapat menghubungkan semua bagian sehingga mempermudah alur informasi kepada semua bagian sehingga hal ini dapat meminimalisir kesalahan atau keterlambatan informasi. Aplikasi sistem informasi pegawai diperoleh mampu menyelesaikan dan mendata pendataan menjadi lebih terstruktur sehingga memberikan informasi dan laporan yang baik. Perancangan sistem aplikasi menggunakan metode Prototype dengan empat tahapan yaitu pengumpulan kebutuhan, membangun prototype, evaluasi prototype, dan mengkodekan sistem sehingga menghasilkan sistem informasi pegawai berbasis website

    Analyses of Sustainable Water Management Practices in Nigerian Building Projects

    This study examines sustainable water management practices in Nigerian building projects, focusing on current practices, barriers, enablers, and comparisons with global standards. Data were collected from 272 stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, policymakers, and building occupants. Findings reveal partial adoption of water conservation practices, with significant barriers such as financial constraints, lack of technical expertise, and inadequate regulatory frameworks. Key enablers identified include increasing stakeholder awareness, government incentives, and international cooperation. Cluster and factor analyses highlight patterns and dimensions of water management practices. Case studies from Lagos and Abuja demonstrate the feasibility and benefits of comprehensive water management plans. The study concludes that addressing financial and technical barriers and leveraging enablers is essential for advancing sustainable water management in Nigeria, providing valuable insights for policymakers, industry stakeholders, and researchers

    Toko Hijab Zoya hadir sejak tahun 2005 untuk memberikan inovasi baru pada desain hijab serta busana muslimnya dari desainer-desainer terbaik Indonesia. Zoya menawarkan berbagai macam produk, salah satunya yaitu produk basic. Produk basic merupakan produk yang memiliki fungsi dasar untuk kegiatan sehari hari tanpa mengikuti tren dan musim yang membuat produk ini pasti terbeli setiap periodenya. Namun dari data penjualan didapatkan hasil analisis dimana penjualan produk basic belum mencapai target penjualan yaitu 150-160 produk. Oleh karena itu, toko hijab zoya perlu menginovasikan strategi penjualan paket bundling untuk produk basic yang berbasis website menggunakan algoritma FP-Growth yang memiliki aksesibilitas dan pemeliharaan yang mudah serta cocok untuk pemilihan kandidat item dari pola kebiasaan pembelian produk oleh konsumen agar toko hijab zoya dapat menentukan item kandidat untuk dibundlingkan. Hasil dari perhitungan minimum support 0.04 dan minimum confidence 0.07 menghasilkan 21 aturan asosiasi dengan kombinasi item marsha hl casual dengan warna silver grey dan black yang memiliki nilai confidence sebesar 0.47

    Analysis of Student's Mathematical Creative Thinking Ability in Solving Open-Ended Problems in Terms of Cognitive Style

    The standards of education in the 21st century can think creatively. The ability to think creatively is an important aspect that must be developed and trained through problem-solving, one of which is open-ended. This study aimed to analyze students' creative thinking skills in solving open-ended problems in terms of their cognitive style. This descriptive qualitative study was conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah 1, Sumberpucung. The instruments used in this study were the GEFT to classify students with FI and FD cognitive styles, an essay test to measure students' mathematical creative thinking abilities, and an interview guide. The subjects of this study were students with FI and FD cognitive styles. Based on the GEFT test, it was found that out of 28 grade VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Sumberpucung, 39.28% had the FI cognitive style, and 60.71% had the FD cognitive style. Four subjects with different cognitive styles were selected for interviews, and the results obtained were I1, I2, D1, and D2 at level 3 of the ability to think creatively, namely, creative. The four subjects met the indicators of fluency and flexibility but still lacked the originality indicator

    Students' Mathematical Problem-Solving Ability Based on Pedagogic Analysis of Mathematics Learning

    Students' mathematical problem-solving skills are an important ability to have. One of the factors that can affect mathematical problem-solving ability is the teacher's pedagogic in learning mathematics. This study aims to analyze the pedagogical aspects of mathematics learning. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research subjects consisted of 35 grade VIII students in one of the schools in the city of Bandung. Data collection was carried out through observation of the mathematics learning process, test items of mathematical problem-solving skills, and the implementation of interviews with teachers and students. Data analysis was carried out by calculating the percentage of answers to the item test for mathematical problem-solving ability and analyzing the pedagogic learning of mathematics. The results showed that the average mathematical problem-solving ability as a whole reached 64.5%, indicating a medium category. The lowest indicator of mathematical problem-solving ability is the recheck indicator. Based on the analysis of pedagogic aspects in mathematics learning on mathematical problem-solving abilities related to teachers' ability to use learning methods and technology. This means that learning methods and technology are important in improving students' mathematical problem-solving skills

    AKNOP Jaringan Irigasi Air Tanah (JIAT)

    Wilayah Lampung Selatan merupakan wilayah yang sebagian besar terdiri atas daerah persawahan. Pada wilayah tersebut terdapat daerah persawahan yang menggunakan Jaringan Irigasi Air Tanah (JIAT). Penialaian kembali perlu dilakukan untuk jaringan tersebut mengingat efisiensi komponen JIAT yang lambat laun semakin menurun. Studi ini membahas mengenai analisis kinerja  JIAT pada 14 titik lokasi di Lampung Selatan. Evaluasi yang dilakukan meliputi kinerja penilaian indeks prasarana fisik dan prasarana penunjang, produktifitas tanam, dokumentasi dan penilaian P3AT. Penilaian Kondisi JIAT dibagi menjadi 4 kategori penilaian yaitu kategori I, II, III, dan IV. Berdasarkan hasil studi yang dilakukan didapatkan kinerja JIAT maksimum terdapat pada titik SBE 95 dengan hasil penilaian kinerja JIAT yaitu 72.4%. Hal tersebut menunjukkan JIAT pada lokasi tersebut berada pada kondisi baik. Kemudian pada 14 titik tersebut terdapat 9 JIAT yang berada pada kategori I dimana ciri dari kategori tersebut yaitu JIAT berada pada kondisi buruk dan perlu perhatian, 4 titik JIAT berada pada kategori II dengan ciri kinerja kurang dan perlu perhatian, dan kategori II sebanyak 1 titik dengan ciri kinerja baik.         

    SISTEM OTOMATISASI AEROPONIK INDOOR PADA TANAMAN SAWI BERBASIS INTERNET OF THINGS

    Abstract The increasing global population growth poses serious challenges in meeting the world's food needs, and one promising solution is to increase productivity and efficiency in agriculture through Internet of Things (IoT) technology. In order to achieve this, this study aims to develop and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based automation system for indoor aeroponic farming, specifically designed to cultivate mustard flowers, utilizing advanced LED Grow Light technology for optimal growth conditions, a capacitive soil moisture sensor to detect uneven condensation of nutrients, and a pH sensor to maintain the balance of nutrient solution. The NodeMCU ESP32 microcontroller, alongside the Arduino platform, serves as the central control unit of the system, autonomously monitoring and regulating the growth environment. The findings demonstrate how effectively this technology can detect and adjust plant growth parameters, such as air temperature (99.24%), water temperature (98.63%), nutrient content (96.50%), water height (94.20%), and water pH (98.88%). In addition, the system successfully provides lighting using an L.E.D. Grow Light that is on for 12 hours every day, and effectively detects condensation unevenness, which then provides notifications via Telegram. The increased efficiency achieved by this system shows great potential in supporting efforts to fulfil global food needs through IoT technology. Keywords: Aeroponics, IoT, LED Grow Light, pH Sensor, Agriculture Automation. Abstrak Pertumbuhan populasi global yang terus meningkat menimbulkan tantangan serius dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pangan dunia, dan salah satu solusi yang menjanjikan adalah dengan meningkatkan produktivitas serta efisiensi dalam pertanian melalui teknologi Internet of Things (IoT). Untuk mencapai hal ini, penelitian difokuskan pada pengembangan dan penerapan sistem aeroponik dalam ruangan berbasis IoT yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan budidaya tanaman sawi, dengan memanfaatkan LED Grow Light untuk pencahayaan optimal, capacitive soil moisture sensor untuk mendeteksi ketidakmerataan pengembunan nutrisi, serta sensor pH untuk menjaga keseimbangan larutan nutrisi. Sistem ini menggunakan mikrokontroler NodeMCU ESP32 dan Arduino sebagai pusat kendali untuk memantau dan mengontrol lingkungan tumbuh secara otomatis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini mampu memantau dan mengendalikan kondisi tanaman dengan akurasi tinggi, seperti suhu udara (99,24%), suhu air (98,63%), kandungan nutrisi (96,50%), tinggi air (94,20%), dan pH air (98,88%). Selain itu, sistem ini berhasil memberikan pencahayaan menggunakan LED Grow Light yang menyala selama 12 jam setiap hari, serta mendeteksi ketidakmerataan pengembunan dengan efektif, yang kemudian memberikan notifikasi melalui Telegram. Peningkatan efisiensi yang dicapai oleh sistem ini menunjukkan potensi besar dalam mendukung upaya pemenuhan kebutuhan pangan global melalui teknologi IoT. Kata Kunci: Aeroponik, IoT, LED Grow Light, Sensor pH, Otomatisasi Pertanian

    Differentiated Learning Using ESS-MATH-Based PBL Model on Problem-Solving Ability Reviewed from Learning Style

    The development of the era of globalization is accelerating, which must be supported by the ability of expert students. This study aims to find out how content-differentiated learning through the ESS-MATH-based Problem-Based Learning model affects the ability of class X students of SMK N 1 Klaten to solve problems from a learning style. This study uses a descriptive approach with qualitative research methods. The instruments used were David Kolb's learning style questionnaire, the ESS-MATH application and problem-solving ability questions. The results obtained are that the application of content-differentiated learning using the ESS-MATH-based PBL model is able to improve students' skills in problem-solving according to their learning style. The ESS-MATH application is a new alternative in the implementation of content-differentiated learning because it can meet the learning needs of students and ease of use

    Analisis Stabilitas Tanah Menggunakan Abu Ampas Tebu dan Bio-Enzim

    TTanah merupakan salah satu material alam yang penting dalam dunia konstruksi. Tanah yang baik adalah tanah yang dapat menahan beban di atasnya tanpa menyebabkan penurunan tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis stabilitas tanah berdasarkan nilai daya dukung tanah dengan pencampuran abu ampas tebu dan molase. Metode penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental di laboratorium dan mengacu pada standar pengujian mekanika tanah yang berfokus pada nilai CBR (California Bearing Ratio). Variasi campuran molase yang digunakan adalah 5%, 10%, dan 15% serta abu ampas tebu sebesar 6%, 12%, dan 18%. Sampel tanah berasal dari daerah Lubuk Minturun dan Bukit Gado-gado Kota Padang. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa nilai CBR sampel tanah Lubuk Minturun dan Bukit Gado-Gado mengalami kenaikan menjadi 10,68% dan 9,34% dengan variasi campuran 5% molase + 6% abu ampas tebu dari sebelumnya nilai CBR tanah asli sebesar 9,69% dan 8,87%. Berdasarkan SNI 1744, kisaran nilai CBR 7-20 dikategorikan sebagai tanah yang mempunyai nilai daya dukung tanah sedang
