The Relation between Mathematical Connection Abilities and Mathematical Problems Solving Skill of Cadet
This study aims to identify the relationship between mathematical connection ability (MCA) and mathematical problem-solving skills (MPSS) in cadets of the Ship Operation Engineering Technology Study Program at the Surabaya Maritime Polytechnic. Using a quantitative descriptive approach, 21 cadets were given two questions designed to measure MCA and MPSS, which were then analyzed using descriptive statistics and the Spearman rank correlation test. The results showed a significant positive correlation between MCA and MPSS, with a coefficient value of 0.901. This finding indicates that cadets with higher MCA tend to have better problem-solving skills. Additionally, cadets experienced difficulties with questions involving trigonometric concepts in a nautical context, such as the use of compass points and distance calculations. This study highlights the importance of strengthening MCA and MPSS in maritime vocational education to enhance cadets' technical and cognitive skills, particularly in solving complex operational problems in the maritime sector
Perancangan Aplikasi Inventory Menggunakan Google Appsheet Di Badan Pusat Statistik Kabupaten Jombang
Pemberkasan di badan pusat statistic kabupaten jombang dalam hal meminta dan meminjam barang masih dilakukan secara manual, hal tersebut kurang efektif dikarenakan sering terjadi human eror(kesalahan menulis). Oleh karena itu tujuan dari proyek ini adalah untuk memberikan solusi kesalahan input dalam permintaan dan peminjaman barang, dan pemantauan keluar dan masuknya barang di bps jombang. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, serta pengembangan, dan pengujian aplikasi. Aplikasi ini dilengkapi dengan fitur-fitur penting, seperti pencatatan barang masuk dan keluar, laporan stok, serta pemantauan barang. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah membuat aplikasi inventory berbasis appsheet yang berfungsi untuk menjawab permasalahan-permasalahan di bps jombang. Dan aplikasi ini sudah di uji menggunakan blackbox untuk memastikan lagi bahwa fitur-fitur yang ada sudah berfungsi dengan baik sesuai yang di harapkan, dan hasilnya adalah sudah memenuhi dan fitur yang ada sudah sesuai dengan yang di harapkan
One-Way Communication System with CNN Between Deaf and Blind People
Communication is very important, including for deaf and blind people. People with disabilities must be equal to the general public. Having a one-way communication system between deaf people and people with disabilities is very necessary. The input from the system is in the form of spoken language, and the output is in the form of braille. The input from this system is SIBI (Indonesian Sign Language System), SIBI is recorded with a camera and then processed with CNN. CNN is divided into 3 parts, namely (Training Process with a tecnable machine, SIBI DataSet model, and Detection Process), the output of this process is text. Meanwhile, how to change text to braille uses an image index. The results of the braille can be read by the blind. System analysis using Confusion Matrix. The system analysis results are as follows: accuracy value is 85%, precision is 90%, and recall is 82%
PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN TERHADAP TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN VULVA HYGIENE PADA REMAJA PUTRI
One of the reproductive health problems often experienced by young women is caused by not knowing how to perform vulva hygiene. Vulva hygiene is maintaining the cleanliness of the external genital organs (Ernawati, 2023). This research aims to determine whether there is an influence of health education through video media on the level of knowledge in class VII teenage girls at MTs Miftahul Ulum Sumberwringin Klakah Lumajang. This research uses a pre-experimental design with a one group pre post-test design method. Measuring the level of knowledge uses a questionnaire. Statistical tests use the Wilcoxon test. The research was conducted in April. The research sample was taken using a non-probability sampling technique (purposive sampling), obtaining 24 female students as respondents. With the Wilcoxon signed test using SPSS, it was found that p-value = 0,000 < 0.05. it can be concluded that there is an influence of health education through video media on the level of knowledge of respondents. The results of the study support the idea that there is an increase in knowledge about vulva hygiene after being given health education through video media to teenage girls in class VII MTs Miftahul Ulum Sumberwringin Klakah Lumajang.

A Fuzzy Control System for Performance Optimization in Wireless Sensor Networks
Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) play a vital role in numerous domains such as environmental monitoring, healthcare, industrial automation, and smart city infrastructures. Despite their growing relevance, WSNs face persistent challenges including limited energy resources, high data loss, network instability, and latency issues. To address these concerns, this study explores the integration of fuzzy logic as a means of optimizing WSN performance under uncertain and dynamic conditions. A fuzzy logic-based control system was designed to adaptively regulate key parameters such as node energy, packet loss, and connectivity. Simulations were conducted with varying node densities (100, 200, and 300 nodes) to assess the effectiveness of this approach. Results revealed notable improvements: energy consumption was reduced by up to 0.65%, network lifetime extended by up to 0.28%, packet delivery ratio increased by up to 3.10%, and average latency decreased by up to 43.8%. These outcomes underscore the potential of fuzzy logic to enhance the adaptability, efficiency, and reliability of WSNs, offering a practical and scalable solution for performance optimization in real-world deployments
Analysis of Students' Errors in Solving Problems Involving Algebraic Expressions
This study aims to describe students' errors in solving algebra problems in class VII A of SMP Negeri 3 Dampelas. This research employs a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Three students from class VII A were selected as research subjects, focusing on conceptual and procedural errors. The identified errors include mistakes in concepts, principles, and facts. Conceptual errors involve misconceptions in the addition of like terms. Principle errors occur when students incorrectly conclude the final answer. Factual errors involve mistakes in writing variables. Relevansi Konsep Ta’dib Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas dengan Pendidikan Pesantren di Indonesia
Pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam keberadaan manusia. Pendidikan Islam dalam berbagai strukturnya dirancang untuk memberikan perencanaan kepada manusia agar dapat mencapai kebahagiaan, baik di dunia maupun di akhirat. Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas dengan konsep ta’dib-nya dapat memaknai pendidikan Islam yang sebenarnya. Al-Attas memahami bahwa istilah ta’dib sebagai gagasan instruktif yang mencakup informasi dan tujuan mulia. Oleh karena itu, menurutnya, jenis pendidikan Islam yang tepat adalah ta’dib, sebagaimana tercermin dalam hadis Nabi yang digunakan Al-Attas sebagai landasan pemikiran pendidikannya, yaitu “Tuhanku telah mengajariku,” dan itu berarti menjadikan sekolah (ta’dibi) yang terbaik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengenali biografi Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas, konsep ta’dib-nya, serta relevansi konsep tersebut dengan pendidikan pesantren di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif berbasis studi literatur. Instrumen penelitian yang peneliti gunakan berupa sumber primer dan sekunder sebagai jawaban dari rumusan masalah yang telah dituliskan sebelumnya. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan konsep ta’dib al-Attas memiliki beberapa relevansi dengan pendidikan pesantren di Indonesia, seperti orientasi pendidikan Islami, integrasi ilmu dan amal, relevansi global, dan lain-lain.
Education plays a crucial role in human existence. Islamic education, in its various structures, is designed to provide guidance to individuals so that they can achieve happiness, both in this world and the hereafter. Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas, with his concept of ta’dib, can give meaning to true Islamic education. Al-Attas understands the term ta’dib as an instructive idea that encompasses information and noble goals. Therefore, he believes that the appropriate type of Islamic education is ta’dib, as reflected in the Prophet’s hadith used by Al-Attas as the foundation of his educational philosophy, which is “My Lord has taught me,” implying making the best school (ta’dibi). The purpose of this research is to explore the biography of Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas, his concept of ta’dib, and the relevance of this concept to Islamic boarding school education in Indonesia. The research method used is a qualitative approach based on literature studies. The research instrument includes primary and secondary sources as answers to the previously formulated research questions. Data analysis technique involves document analysis. The research findings indicate that Al-Attas’s concept of ta’dib has several relevance aspects to Islamic boarding school education in Indonesia, such as Islamic education orientation, integration of knowledge and practice, global relevance, and more.Pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam keberadaan manusia. The Use of Multiplication Cards in Improving Students’ Math Multiplication Learning Outcomes
Media innovation in math learning is essential to improving student understanding. This study aims to assess the improvement in students' math learning outcomes using multiplication card media. This research follows a classroom action research design consisting of three cycles. The research subjects were 13 fifth-grade students from SD Negeri Wironanggan 02. Three types of questions were used to measure student learning outcomes. The results indicated an improvement in student learning outcomes. In Cycle I, the average learning outcome was 58.462, increasing to 76.538 in Cycle II and 93.077 in Cycle III. The gain score between Cycle I and Cycle II was 0.435 (43.5%), which further increased to 0.705 (70.5%) between Cycle II and Cycle III. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of multiplication card media in learning enhances the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Wironanggan 02
Strategi Pelayanan Perpustakaan Berbasis Teknologi Informasi dalam Meningkatkan Literasi Mahasiswa UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang
Salah satu hal yang menjadi pilar penting dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan di perguruan tinggi adalah perpustakaan. Semakin baik kualitas sebuah perpustakaan, tentu akan semakin tinggi juga dampak positif dalam menunjang pendidikan di perguruan tinggi. Perpustakaan pusat UIN Malang telah terakreditasi A. Perpustakaan ini juga telah mengembangkan beberapa layanan elektronik dalam upaya meningkatkan efektivitas penyediaan literatur. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendiskripsikan dan menganalisis perencanaan, penerapan, dan dampak dari strategi perpustakan dalam meningkatkan efektivitas penyediaan literatur melalui layanan elektronik di perpustakaan pusat UIN Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan jenis studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan untuk Teknik analisis data yakni melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa: perencanaan strategi peningkatan literasi mahasiswa di perpustakaan pusat UIN Malang dilakukan melalui empat hal, yakni membentuk tim khusus, menganalisis segala hal yang berhubungan melalui analisis SWOT, menyusun perencanaan, berdasarkan pertanyaan 5W 1H, menyelaraskan perencanaan dengan kemampuan, meminta saran kemudian menetapkan perencanaan; terkait penerapan strateginya juga melalui empat kegiatan, yakni pengorganisasian dan pemotivasian, pengenalan layanan elektronik perpustakaan, memperbaiki seluruh masalah dalam pengaduan, dan melakukan evaluasi layanan elektronik; terdapat dua dampak dari layanan elektronik ini, yakni dapat membantu seluruh mahasiswa dalam perkembangan riset dan studi mereka, dan juga layanan ini terbukti berhasil secara efektif dan efisien dalam meningkatkan literasi mahasiswa.

This library has also developed several electronic services in an effort to increase the effectiveness of providing literature. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the planning, implementation and impact of library strategies in increasing the effectiveness of providing literature through electronic services at the central library of UIN Malang. This research uses a qualitative approach, with the type of case study. Data collection techniques using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique is through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study concluded that: planning strategies for increasing student literacy in the central library of UIN Malang was carried out through four things; namely forming a special team, analyzing all related matters through a SWOT analysis, drawing up a plan, based on 5W 1H questions, aligning planning with capabilities, asking for advice and then establishing a plan; regarding strategy implementation, there are also four activities, namely organizing and motivating, introducing electronic library services, repairing all problems in complaints, and evaluating electronic services; there are two impacts of this electronic service, namely it can help all students in the development of their research and studies, and also this service has proven to be effective and efficient in improving student literacy.Salah satu hal yang menjadi pilar penting dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan di perguruan tinggi adalah perpustakaan. Project-Based Learning in Mathematics Classrooms: How It Improves Students' Problem-Solving Skills
The aim of this research is to determine whether Project-Based Learning (PjBL) affects middle school students' ability to solve mathematical problems during the learning process. This research is mix-method research with explanatory sequential design, namely the data is analyzed quantitatively first and continued with descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of the test indicated a t-value of 2.7354 with a p-value of 0.007751 (which is less than 0.05), signifying a significant difference of the experimental group and the control group after the treatment was applied. PjBL has an influence in improving problem solving of middle school students. Students can identify important elements in a problem, create appropriate problem representations, use relevant knowledge and skills to solve problems, and are able to interpret relevant results and conclusions.
