Percepción de los orientadores sobre el aprendizaje basado en juegos y los juegos serios en sesiones de tutoría [Counsellors’ perception about game-based learning and serious games in tutoring sessions]
This study investigates the use and understanding of game-based methodologies, such as Game-Based Learning (GBL) and Serious Games, among educators in León and its surrounding areas. The sample of 34 educators reveals a limited use of these tools in tutoring sessions. The results indicate that 26.5% are male and 73.5% are female, with the majority being over 50 years old. There is evidence of a poor understanding of Serious Games creation and preparation. Although some educators use GBL and Serious Games, they primarily do so to engage students\u27 interest. Greater familiarity with these methodologies is recommended to enhance motivation and academic performance. This study underscores the importance of GBL and Serious Games in secondary education and academic guidance.Esta investigación aborda el uso y conocimiento de metodologías basadas en juegos, como el Aprendizaje Basado en Juegos (ABJ) y los Juegos Serios, entre orientadores de León y sus alrededores destacando su importancia en la Educación Secundaria y la orientación académica. Se realiza un análisis descriptivo con una muestra de 34 orientadores. Se observa predominio del conocimiento sobre ABJ frente a Juegos Serios; el 65% carecen de formación específica. El ABJ se utiliza ocasionalmente, por su efecto positivo sobre el interés del alumnado. La implementación limitada del ABJ se asocia a falta de formación y recursos. Existe interés por en recibir formación y se reconoce el ABJ como motivante. Es una herramienta educativa prometedora pero infrautilizada. La formación docente es clave para su aplicación en la tutoría. Se sugiere fomentar el ABJ en Planes de Acción Tutorial y profundizar en la motivación de los orientadores.

Abstract:
This research addresses the use and knowledge of game-based methodologies, such as Game-Based Learning (GBL) and Serious Games, among counsellors in León and its surroundings, highlighting their importance in Secondary Education and academic guidance. A descriptive analysis was carried out with a sample of 34 counsellors. Knowledge about ABJ is predominant over Serious Games; 65% lack specific training. The ABJ is used occasionally, due to its positive effect on the interest of the students. Limited implementation of the ABJ is associated with a lack of training and resources. There is interest in receiving training and the ABJ is recognized as motivating. It is a promising but underutilized educational tool. Teacher training is key to its application in tutoring. It is suggested to promote the ABJ in Tutorial Action Plans and to deepen the motivation of the counsellors.

La Banda de Música Municipal de A Estrada: aproximación a su trayectoria histórica
The comprehensive study of wind bands in Galicia currently represents a largely unexplored area, highlighting the necessity of developing research lines that broaden the understanding of these ensembles. This article offers an overview of the history of the Municipal Wind Band of A Estrada, a town located in the province of Pontevedra. Drawing on a preliminary analysis of various available information sources and complemented by rigorous fieldwork, an evolutionary perspective has been formulated. This perspective encompasses the period from the second half of the 19th century to the present day, placing particular emphasis on the conductors who have led the wind band throughout its extensive history.
Key Words: Wind band, municipal, A Estrada, historical trajectory, conductor.El estudio en profundidad de las bandas de música en Galicia constituye un terreno prácticamente inexplorado, haciéndose manifiesta la necesidad de desarrollar líneas de investigación que amplíen el conocimiento sobre estos colectivos. En este artículo se aporta una aproximación a la historia de la Banda de Música Municipal de A Estrada, en la provincia de Pontevedra. A partir del análisis preliminar de múltiples fuentes de información encontradas, conjugado con un riguroso trabajo de campo, el relato elaborado abarca desde la segunda mitad del siglo XIX hasta la actualidad, tomando como referencias principales a los directores que pasaron por la agrupación a lo largo de su dilatada existencia.

Cidades médias e o processo de aglomeração urbana: considerações a partir das dinâmicas demográficas recentes em realidades não metropolitanas do Brasil
This text aims to foster debate on the process of urban agglomeration within the context of intermediate cities. To this end, data and studies from the Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE) were examined, alongside an analysis of demographic trends based on the most recent intercensal period (2010-2022). The findings highlight significant aspects for discussions on the topic, as they reveal a trend of accelerated demographic growth in smaller municipalities within agglomerations compared to the main core. In light of this, it is crucial to pay attention to the ongoing transformations, as they significantly impact dynamics related to both territorial continuity - of urban areas - and spatial - related to spatial interactions. These aspects are essential for analyses and discussions aimed at the theoretical and conceptual construction concerning medium-sized cities, as well as for understanding the urban dynamics of Maringá, Presidente Prudente, and São José do Rio Preto, which are examined in depth in the present study.Este texto tiene como objetivo fomentar el debate sobre el proceso de aglomeración urbana en el ámbito de las ciudades intermedias. Para ello, se realizó un levantamiento de información a partir de estudios y bases de datos del Instituto Brasileiro de Geografía e Estatística (IBGE), así como un análisis de la evolución demográfica durante el último período intercensal (2010-2022). Los resultados señalan aspectos relevantes para las discusiones sobre el tema, ya que evidencian una tendencia al aumento del ritmo de crecimiento demográfico de los municipios más pequeños que forman parte de las aglomeraciones, en comparación con el núcleo principal. En este sentido, es fundamental prestar atención a las transformaciones en curso, dado que impactan significativamente en las dinámicas asociadas a la continuidad territorial - de las áreas urbanas - y espacial - en relación con las interacciones espaciales. Estos aspectos resultan fundamentales para los análisis y debates orientados a la construcción teórica y conceptual sobre las ciudades intermedias, así como para la comprensión de las dinámicas urbanas de Maringá, Presidente Prudente y São José do Rio Preto, las cuales son examinadas en profundidad en el presente estudio.Este texto tem como objetivo suscitar o debate a respeito do processo de aglomeração urbana no âmbito das cidades médias. Para tanto, foi realizado um levantamento de informações junto a estudos e bases de dados do Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística – IBGE, bem como uma análise da evolução demográfica a partir do último período intercensitário (2010-2022). Os resultados apontam para aspectos importantes para as discussões sobre o tema, uma vez que evidencia uma tendência de aumento do ritmo de crescimento demográfico dos municípios menores que compõem as aglomerações em relação ao núcleo principal. Diante disso, é necessário se atentar para as transformações em curso, uma vez que impactam significativamente nas dinâmicas atreladas à continuidade territorial – das áreas urbanas – e espacial – quanto às interações espaciais. Tais aspectos revelam-se fundamentais para as análises e debates voltados à construção teórica e conceitual acerca das cidades médias, assim como para a compreensão das dinâmicas urbanas de Maringá, Presidente Prudente e São José do Rio Preto, as quais são examinadas em profundidade no presente estudo.
Early stimulation program for cognitive, affective and social development in Early Childhood Education: A proposal [Programa de estimulación temprana para el desarrollo cognitivo, afectivo y social en Educación Infantil: una propuesta]
The growing enrollment in early schooling during the first cycle of Early Childhood Education (ECE) in Spain, along with measures to extend free education to this stage, calls for schools\u27 Guidance Departments to detect and address students\u27 educational support needs early. This paper proposes improving the Diversity Attention Plan at María Auxiliadora Salesian School in Salamanca by developing a program to identify needs and stimulate cognitive, affective, and social development in children aged 0-2.
The program focuses on enhancing cognitive and socio-affective skills, guided by principles from cognitive neuroscience and early care. Resumen:
La creciente escolarización temprana en el primer ciclo de Educación Infantil (EI) en España, junto con las medidas para extender la gratuidad de la enseñanza a esta etapa, hace necesario que los Departamentos de Orientación de los centros detecten y atiendan precozmente las necesidades de apoyo educativo del alumnado. Este trabajo propone mejorar el Plan de Atención a la Diversidad del Colegio Salesiano María Auxiliadora de Salamanca mediante el desarrollo de un programa de detección de necesidades y estimulación del desarrollo cognitivo, afectivo y social en menores de 0 a 2 años. El programa se centra en potenciar las habilidades cognitivas y socioafectivas, guiándose por principios de la neurociencia cognitiva y la atención temprana. Incluye actividades para fomentar la autonomía del alumnado, en las que el profesorado desempeña un papel clave como mediador en los procesos de desarrollo del alumnado.

DISTORTIONS, HALLUCINATIONS AND AFFECTATION OF REALITY: AN APPROACH TO POE’S TECHNIQUES AS A CREATOR OF AN OPPRESIVE ATMOSPHERE
Distortions, hallucinations and affectation of reality are one of the most powerful weapons an author can use. As we shall see, the effects multiply when that writer is Edgar Allan Poe. On the other hand, or in addition, there is hardly something that can delight more than reading Poe. Our common thread is the use (or the absence) of details and sound imagery (repetitions, silences...) Besides, we must bear in mind the effects of sound on his productions as integrated in the horror genre and how experiencing them or ignoring this effect alters singularly the impact on the readers. In fact, Poe, as well as being an exceptional conductor in terms of suspense, is a master of sound effects.Las distorsiones, las alucinaciones y la afectación de la realidad son una de las armas más poderosas que puede usar un autor. Como veremos, los efectos se multiplican cuando ese escritor es Edgar Allan Poe. Por otro lado, o además, apenas hay algo que pueda deleitar más que leer a Poe. Nuestro hilo conductor es el uso (o la ausencia) de detalles e imágenes de sonido (repeticiones, silencios...) Además, debemos tener en cuenta los efectos del sonido en sus producciones integradas en el género de terror y cómo experimentarlas o ignorarlas. Este efecto altera singularmente el impacto en los lectores. De hecho, Poe, además de ser un conductor excepcional en términos de suspense, es un maestro de los efectos de sonido
UNA RUTA MATEMÁTICA POR CIUDAD REAL.: ACTIVIDADES PARA EL PRIMER CICLO DE EDUCACIÓN SECUNDARIA
In the present article we show the activities corresponding to a mathematical tour made with the help of the Mathcitymap application. These activities are part of a project developed by a group of students of the University Master in Secondary and Baccalaureate Education, Vocational Training and Language Teaching (Speciality: Mathematics). Their main goal was to show students the presence of Maths in the daily life, to get to ‘remove them’from the classroom. Along a walk through the streets of Ciudad Real, we will get students to use their Maths knowledge, apart from including and relate them with other disciplines. That is to say, they arent’t only going to work with Maths, but also along this tour, they will be able to learn History, Art or Geography, among others.En el presente artículo se presentan las actividades correspondientes a una Ruta Matemática elaborada con la ayuda de la aplicación Mathcitymap. Estas actividades forman parte de un proyecto desarrollado por un grupo de alumnos del Máster Universitario en Profesor de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria y Bachillerato, Formación Profesional y Enseñanza de Idiomas (Especialidad: Matemáticas). El objetivo principal fue mostrar al alumnado la presencia de las Matemáticas en la vida cotidiana, para conseguir “sacarlas” del aula. A lo largo de un recorrido por las calles de Ciudad Real, conseguiremos que los alumnos hagan uso de sus conocimientos matemáticos, además de integrarlos y relacionarlos con otras disciplinas. Es decir, no solo se van a trabajar las Matemáticas, sino que a lo largo de la ruta van a poder aprender Historia, Arte o Geografía, entre otras
Una «vierstimmig wohlausgearbeitet Instrumentalfuge» di Johann Georg Pisendel: la Sonata per orchestra in Do minore PW 3:c1a e la sua rielaborazione in PW 3:c1b
The currently known catalogue of orchestral music without soloists by Johann Georg Pisendel (1687-1755) is limited to only five works, of which PW 3:c1b is a revision of the Sonata for orchestra in C minor PW 3:c1a. This article describes some aspects of the reworking process of the German violinist and composer, which highlight – for the first time – the different types of changes made in this composition, some of which seem to derive from the performance practice. The Sonata in C minor, whose original scoring included only the strings (in addition to the basso continuo) without wind instruments, seems to be just one of the “well-elaborated four-part instrumental fugues” (vierstimmige wohlausgearbeitete Instrumentalfugen) mentioned by Johann Friedrich Agricola (1720-1774) in his report of Pisendel’s compositions contained in the anonymous biography of 1767.La produzione di musica orchestrale senza solisti, attualmente conosciuta, di Johann Georg Pisendel (1687-1755) è limitata ad appena cinque titoli, dei quali PW 3:c1b è una revisione della Sonata per orchestra in Do minore PW 3:c1a. Nell’articolo vengono descritti alcuni aspetti del processo rielaborativo del violinista e compositore tedesco, che evidenziano – per la prima volta – le differenti tipologie dei cambi apportati in questa composizione, alcuni dei quali sembrano derivare dall’esperienza esecutiva. La Sonata in Do minore, il cui organico originale prevedeva soltanto gli archi (oltre al basso continuo) senza strumenti a fiato, sembra essere proprio una delle “fughe strumentali a quattro parti ben elaborate” (vierstimmige wohlausgearbeitete Instrumentalfugen) menzionate da Johann Friedrich Agricola (1720-1774) nella sua relazione delle composizioni di Pisendel contenuta nella biografia anonima del 1767
