    Desain Interaksi Game Edukasi Pawzle Care untuk Pecinta Kucing (Ailurophile) dengan Menggunakan Pendekatan Participatory Design

    This research aims to develop an effective interaction design model for educational games tailored for cat enthusiasts (ailurophiles). Cats hold a special place in our hearts, and their well-being, including proper care, health maintenance, and development monitoring, is of utmost importance. However, as revealed by the questionnaire, there is a gap in knowledge among cat lovers regarding essential care techniques. These techniques encompass equipment selection, cat care procedures, and crucial information about our feline companions. To achieve our research objectives, we gathered data through a participatory design approach to conceptualize educational games for cat care. This conceptual framework then served as a reference for prototyping educational games focused on cat care. The efficacy of these prototypes was evaluated through tests conducted with five cat lover participants. The resulting educational game prototype demonstrated an average value that effectively met the test objectives. Therefore, it can be concluded that the participatory design approach has the potential to generate an appropriate interaction design suitable for implementation in educational games designed for cat enthusiasts.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan model desain interaksi yang sesuai agar dapat diterapkan pada game edukasi untuk pecinta kucing. Kucing telah menjadi sahabat manusia. Merawat, menjaga, dan memperhatikan perkembangannya adalah suatu hal yang sangat penting. Namun, berdasarkan kuisioner, diketahui bahwa masih banyak pecinta kucing yang kurang dalam edukasi mengenai cara, dan teknik dasar merawat kucing yang meliputi perlengkapan, teknik merawat kucing dan informasi mengenai kucing yang akan dipelihara. Untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian ini dikumpulkan data untuk pembuatan konsep game edukasi merawat kucing dengan pendekatan metode Participatory Design yang kemudian digunakan sebagai acuan untuk pembuatan prototipe game edukasi merawat kucing. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang sudah dilakukan dengan 5 partisipan pecinta kucing terhadap prototipe game edukasi yang telah dihasilkan, didapat nilai rata-rata yang telah memenuhi nilai tujuan pengujian. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan pendekatan Participatory Design dapat menghasilkan desain interaksi yang tepat untuk dapat diimplementasikan pada game edukasi untuk pecinta kucing

    Legal protection of trademarks in Indonesia, regulated by Law No. 20 of 2016 on Trademarks and Geographical Indications, plays a crucial role in shaping the competitive conditions in the market. This article analyzes the impact of trademark protection on market competition and industry dynamics in Indonesia. The study identifies that effective protection can reduce unfair competition practices, such as counterfeiting and brand imitation, as well as encourage investment and innovation among businesses. Trademark protection also contributes to market transparency and enhances consumer trust. However, significant challenges are faced by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which often struggle to access trademark protection due to costs and administrative complexity. The article also proposes the need for reforms in the registration and enforcement systems to create a more inclusive and fair business environment. By analyzing various recent studies and references, this research provides insights into how trademark protection can affect competitive conditions and business strategies in Indonesia

    MENINGKATKAN PROFITABILITAS MELALUI OPTIMALISASI MARGIN LABA DAN PEMBERIAN KREDIT SERTA MENURUNKAN BIAYA OPERASIONAL PADA PERUSAHAAN PERBANKAN PERSERO

    Profitability is a crucial component for a company to remain competitive, grow, and deliver value to shareholders. To achieve maximum profitability, the company must be able to increase profit margins and liquidity while reducing operational costs. This study aims to analyze the impact of the Operating Expenses to Operating Income Ratio (BOPO), Loan-to-Deposit ratio (LDR), and Net Interest Margin (NIM) on Return on Assets (ROA) for state-owned banking companies listed in the Financial Services Authority (OJK) from 2018 to 2023. This research also examines the mediating role of NIM in the relationship between BOPO, LDR, and ROA. The data used in this study were obtained from the annual reports of banks listed in OJK, employing the Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results show that BOPO has a significant negative effect on ROA, LDR has a significant positive effect on ROA, and NIM has a significant positive effect on ROA. Furthermore, NIM plays a partial mediating role in the relationship between BOPO and ROA, but it does not mediate the relationship between LDR and ROA. These findings provide insights for bank management to focus on operational efficiency and effective NIM management to improve profitability.Profitabilitas merupakan komponen penting agar perusahaan tetap kompetitif, tumbuh, dan memberikan nilai kepada pemegang saham. Untuk mencapai profitabilitas yang maksimal, maka perusahaan harus mampu meningkatkan margin laba dan likuiditas serta menurunkan biaya operasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Biaya Operasional terhadap Pendapatan Operasional (BOPO), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), dan Net Interest Margin (NIM) terhadap Return on Assets (ROA) pada perusahaan perbankan persero yang terdaftar di Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) selama periode 2018-2023. Penelitian ini juga menguji peran mediasi NIM dalam hubungan antara BOPO, LDR, dan ROA. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari laporan tahunan bank yang terdaftar di OJK, dengan menggunakan metode analisis Structural Equation Model (SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa BOPO berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap ROA, LDR berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap ROA, dan NIM berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap ROA. Selain itu, NIM ditemukan memiliki peran sebagai mediator parsial dalam hubungan antara BOPO dan ROA, namun tidak memediasi hubungan antara LDR dan ROA. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan bagi manajemen bank untuk fokus pada efisiensi operasional dan pengelolaan NIM yang baik untuk meningkatkan profitabilitas.&nbsp

    Fama-French Five Factor Model: Systematic Literature Review

    This inquiry is to find out, analyze, and integrate existing findings regarding the application and effectiveness of the Fama-French Five Factor Model in various market contexts through a systematic literature review approach. This research methodology uses a qualitative approach through a systematic literature review and bibliometric analysis through VosViewer software, obtained from 27 articles. Based on the literature review results, the Fama-French Five Factor Model has been shown to be superior in explaining asset price anomalies in several markets, such as Australia and South Africa, compared to previous models. However, its effectiveness varies depending on market characteristics, with less consistent results in emerging markets such as Asia, where profitability and investment factors are not always significant. In the context of the Indonesian market, research shows that FF5FM does not always outperform the three-factor model, suggesting that the addition of new factors may not always be relevant in all markets. Keywords: Fama-French Five Factor; Portfolio; Investment; Asset pricing; SLR  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi, menganalisis, dan mengintegrasikan temuan-temuan yang ada mengenai penerapan dan efektivitas Model Fama-French Five Factor dalam berbagai konteks pasar melalui pendekatan sistematis literature review. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui tinjauan literatur sistematis dan analisis bibliometrik melalui perangkat lunak VosViewer yang diperoleh dari 27 artikel. Berdasarkan hasil literatur review menunjukkan Model Lima Faktor Fama-French telah terbukti unggul dalam menjelaskan anomali harga aset di beberapa pasar, seperti Australia dan Afrika Selatan, dibandingkan dengan model sebelumnya. Namun, efektivitasnya bervariasi tergantung pada karakteristik pasar, dengan hasil yang kurang konsisten di pasar berkembang seperti Asia, di mana faktor profitabilitas dan investasi tidak selalu signifikan. Dalam konteks pasar Indonesia, penelitian menunjukkan bahwa FF5FM tidak selalu memberikan kinerja yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan model tiga faktor, mengindikasikan bahwa penambahan faktor baru mungkin tidak selalu relevan di semua pasar

    Perancangan dan Implementasi Sistem Absensi Siswa Berbasis Web Menggunakan Face Recognition dan SMS Gateway

    This research aims to design and implement a student attendance system utilizing facial recognition technology and SMS gateway to increase the efficiency and accuracy of recording attendance in the Cimanggung Sumedang High School computer laboratory. The software development method used is the waterfall model. This method includes requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing and maintenance. The system designed is web-based by utilizing the face-api.js API application to detect and recognize students\u27 faces and the Twilio application as an SMS gateway to send attendance notifications to students\u27 parents. The test results in this study show that the system can recognize one to seven students with good accuracy in one camera capture. In addition, this system successfully sends notifications to students\u27 parents in real-time via SMS gateway when their children are not present at meetings in the computer laboratory. This research contributes to the development of a technology-based attendance system that can be implemented in an educational environment so that the attendance process can be carried out effectively and efficiently

    There is a gap between the estimated tax revenue and the actual tax revenue received by the state. Various policies can be taken by companies to lower their effective tax rates. Capital intensity and leverage have the potential to lower the company\u27s effective tax rate. This study aims to determine the effect of capital intensity and leverage partially on the effective tax rate. This study uses descriptive and verification methods with a quantitative approach. In this study, there is a population of 60 annual financial reports from 15 manufacturing companies indexed by LQ45 on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020-2023 period. The sample used in this study was 32 annual financial reports selected using the purposive sampling method. The data analysis method used is the multiple linear regression analysis method, classical assumption testing and hypothesis testing using Statistical Product Service Solutions (SPSS) software version 23. The results of the study show that capital intensity has a positive effect on the effective tax rate. While leverage does not have a significant effect on the effective tax rate

    KEKETATAN ANGGARAN DAN KELELAHAN EMOSIONAL: AMBIGUITAS PERAN SEBAGAI MEDIATOR DAN KEPERCAYAAN SEBAGAI MODERATOR

    The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the hospitality sector, including decreased revenue and low occupancy rates, forcing hotel management to implement budget tightness. This study aims to analyze the effect of changes in budget tightness on emotional exhaustion through role ambiguity as a mediator, with trust in senior management as a moderator. This study uses quantitative methods with questionnaires distributed to star hotel managers in West Java. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results showed that budget tightness has a positive relationship with role ambiguity, which in turn increases emotional exhaustion. In addition, trust in senior management strengthens the relationship between budget tightness and role ambiguity. These findings emphasize the importance of role clarity and management strategies to reduce emotional exhaustion amid budget pressures. Practical implications of this study include developing policies that support employee well-being as well as improving communication and training to help employees cope with role ambiguity. This study contributes to the literature by expanding the understanding of the relationship between budget tightness, role ambiguity, emotional exhaustion, and trust in senior management in the post-COVID-19 pandemic hospitality industry. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh keketatan anggaran terhadap kelelahan emosional melalui ambiguitas peran sebagai mediator, dengan kepercayaan pada manajemen senior sebagai moderator. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada manajer hotel berbintang di Jawa Barat sebanyak 100 kuesioner yang terisi lengkap dan dapat di analisa. Data dianalisis menggunakan Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keketatan anggaran memiliki hubungan positif dengan ambiguitas peran, yang pada akhirnya meningkatkan kelelahan emosional. Selain itu, kepercayaan pada manajemen senior memperkuat hubungan antara keketatan anggaran dan ambiguitas peran. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya kejelasan peran dan strategi manajemen untuk mengurangi kelelahan emosional di tengah tekanan anggaran. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini mencakup pengembangan kebijakan yang mendukung kesejahteraan karyawan serta peningkatan komunikasi dan pelatihan untuk membantu karyawan mengatasi ketidakjelasan peran.     Digitalization Of Payments In Public Financial Management: Efficiency And Transparency Strategy

    Digital transformation in the public sector drives innovation in state financial management, including implementing digital payment systems. This study aims to analyze the contribution of payment digitization to the efficiency and transparency of public finances in Indonesia. The method used is qualitative through content analysis and case studies, with primary data from interviews and secondary data from policy documents and scientific literature. The study results show that the implementation of Digipay and SP2D Online significantly impacts administrative efficiency, transaction acceleration, and strengthening control. Digitalization also increases transparency through real-time transaction tracking and supports open audits. However, challenges remain regarding interoperability, data security, and human resources. Overall, digitalization is an important strategy in public finance reform. The implications of this research suggest that the success of payment digitalization can serve as a model to accelerate broader state financial governance reforms and encourage the adoption of similar technologies in other public sectors

    PENGELOMPOKAN PERSEDIAAN SPARE PARTS DENGAN METODE CLASS BASED STORAGE KLASIFIKASI FSN BERDASARKAN TURNOVER RATIO (TOR)

    Effective spare parts management at PT XYZ requires accurate classification based on their turnover rate. This research aims to categorize spare parts into fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving categories to improve inventory management efficiency and support the company\u27s operational sustainability. From the analysis of 130 types of spare parts, it was found that 69 (53%) fell into the fast-moving category, 50 (38.5%) were slow-moving, and 11 (8.5%) were non-moving. This classification is critical because it allows the company to determine the optimal order quantity and storage location for each category of spare parts. Thus, the company can prevent stock shortages on frequently used parts, which can disrupt smooth operations. In addition, activities with the grouping of goods can increase the accuracy of the stock-taking process, making it easier to make decisions related to inventory management. The data in this study were collected through various methods, including direct observation, literature study, and analysis of company historical data. The results show that classifying spare parts based on turnover ratios can be a solid basis for more effective inventory management policies. The application of this classification, PT XYZ is expected to improve operational efficiency and optimize the use of existing resources, to contribute to the growth and desire of the company in the future. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengelompokkan suku cadang ke dalam kategori fast-moving, slow-moving, dan non-moving, sehingga dapat meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan persediaan dan mendukung keberlangsungan operasional perusahaan. Dari analisis terhadap 130 jenis suku cadang, ditemukan bahwa 69 (53%) termasuk dalam kategori cepat bergerak, 50 (38,5%) lambat bergerak, dan 11 (8,5%) tidak bergerak. Klasifikasi ini sangat penting karena memungkinkan perusahaan untuk menentukan jumlah pemesanan dan lokasi penyimpanan yang optimal untuk setiap kategori suku cadang. Dengan demikian, perusahaan dapat mencegah kekurangan stok pada suku cadang yang sering digunakan, yang dapat mengganggu kelancaran operasional. Selain itu, kegiatan dengan adanya pengelompokan terhadap barang dapat meningkatkan keakuratan dalam proses stock opname, sehingga memudahkan dalam pengambilan keputusan terkait pengelolaan persediaan. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui berbagai metode, termasuk observasi langsung, studi literatur, dan analisis data historis perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mengklasifikasikan suku cadang berdasarkan rasio perputaran dapat menjadi dasar yang kuat untuk kebijakan manajemen persediaan yang lebih efektif. Penerapan klasifikasi ini diharapkan PT XYZ dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan mengoptimalkan penggunaan sumber daya yang ada, sehingga dapat memberikan kontribusi pada pertumbuhan dan keinginan perusahaan di masa depan.     Salah satu keluhan pelanggan Rumah Makan Haruman adalah faktur yang dibuat secara manual yang membutuhkan waktu pembuatan terlalu lama serta informasi yang dicantumkan sering tidak akurat. Dalam upaya menyelesaikan permasalahan itu diputuskan untuk membuat aplikasi tepat guna yang sesuai dengan karakteristik perusahaan yang ditinjau dari kelayakan teknis dan operasional. Aplikasi diprioritaskan menyelesaikan permasalahan di area Pemesanan dan Pembayaran dengan target meningkatkan kecepatan proses pemesanan, ketepatan pemenuhan pesanan, dan kecepatan proses transaksi pembayaran. Pengembangan aplikasi ini akan dilakukan menggunakan Metode Cerdas (Agile Method) dengan Teknik Prototyping. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian dan pemberdayaan masyarakat ini berupa aplikasi berbasis Microsoft Access yang dapat digunakan dalam aktivitas transaksi reservasi dan penjualan dan disertai dengan Panduan Penggunaannya. Pengembangan aplikasi dilakukan pada kurun waktu 1 Agustus sampai dengan 30 September 2024, dan dioperasionalka mulai tanggal 1 November 2024.
