Twistor space, Minkowski space and the conformal group
It is shown that the conformal group of compactified Minkowski space is isomorphic to a group of rays of semilinear transformations of twistor space. The action of the conformal group on twistor space is given by an explicit realisation of this isomorphism. In this way we determine the transformation of twistor space under space inversion and time inversion
The group approach to AdS space propagators
We show that AdS two-point functions can be obtained by connecting two points
in the interior of AdS space with one point on its boundary by a dual pair of
Dobrev's boundary-to-bulk intertwiners and integrating over the boundary point.Comment: 23 page
Density-matrix renormalization-group method in momentum space
A momentum-space approach of the density-matrix renormalization-group (DMRG)
method is developed. Ground state energies of the Hubbard model are evaluated
using this method and compared with exact diagonalization as well as quantum
Monte-Carlo results. It is shown that the momentum-space DMRG is a very useful
numerical tool for studying the Hubbard model and other fundamental models of
interacting electrons in two dimensions. For the Hubbard model in two
dimensions, the momentum-space DMRG method reproduces accurately the exact
diagonalization results of ground state energies on a lattice and
yields new upper bounds of ground state energies on an 88 lattice.Comment: 4 pages Revtex, to appear in Phys. Rev. B Rapid Communication (April
