Nachhaltigkeitspolitik in und nach der Pandemie

Der Artikel begründet und skizziert eine mögliche Nachhaltigkeitspolitik im Ausgang der Covid-Pandemie. Es wird argumentiert, dass es fahrlässig wäre, die durch die Pandemie eröffnete Gelegenheit zugunsten einer Reformoffensive nicht zu nutzen. Der Artikel klärt die normativen Voraussetzungen und weist nach, dass alle erforderlichen Voraussetzungen für eine solche Reformoffensive erfüllt sind. Er identifiziert deren institutionelle Rahmung und deren mögliche Schwerpunkte. The article substantiates and outlines a presumptive political strategy on behalf of sustainable development. It is argued that the CoVid-19-crisis has opened a window of opportunity for such policy making which shouldn’t be missed. All requirements of such policy making are at hand. „Da geht es nicht nur um Energiesparen!“: Sozial-ökologische Transformationsprozesse in der Produktion partizipativ und interdisziplinär gestalten

Im vorliegenden Artikel stellen wir einen Ansatz zur Befähigung von Produktionsbeschäftigten zum Nachhaltigkeitshandeln im Betrieb vor. Mit einer zu generierenden Nachhaltigkeitskompetenz wird die ökologische wie soziale Dimension von Nachhaltigkeit adressiert: Ökologisch handelnde Beschäftigte können einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Nachhaltigkeit von Betrieben leisten und zugleich kann der strikt bottom-up-orientierte Ansatz Gestaltungsspielräume der Beschäftigten eröffnen und adressiert so die im Nachhaltigkeitsdiskurs häufig vernachlässigte Dimension sozialer Prozesse. This paper presents an approach to enable production employees to act for sustainability in manufacturing companies. The idea is to generate a sustainability competence that addresses both the ecological and the social dimension of sustainability. Ecological employee action can offer an important contribution to the sustainability of enterprises, and at the same time the bottom-up approach is apt to open up new scopes of action for the employees, thus addressing the often-neglected social dimension of sustainability. Energiegenossenschaften und Nachhaltigkeit: Aktuelle Tendenzen und soziologische Überlegungen

Das sozialwissenschaftliche Verständnis des gesellschaftlichen Leitbilds der Nachhaltigkeit betont zunehmend dessen transformatives Potenzial. Während sich aktuelle Perspektiven in erster Linie auf gesamtgesellschaftliche Veränderungsprozesse konzentrieren, versucht dieser Beitrag die Nachhaltigkeitsdiskussion mit der feststellbaren Renaissance der Organisationsform Genossenschaft zu verknüpfen. Ausgehend von soziologischen Überlegungen Max Webers und Robert Hettlages wird hierbei das Demokratiepotenzial von Energiegenossenschaften herausgearbeitet und in den Nachhaltigkeitsdiskurs eingeordnet. Dabei zeigt sich, dass die neugegründeten Energiegenossenschaften in der Ausgestaltung als Prosumenten-Organisationen eine zentrale Rolle in einer partizipativ ausgerichteten Energiewende spielen können. The scientific sociological understanding of the cultural role model emphasises more and more its potential of transformation. Whereas current perspectives focus primarily on transformation processes related to the society as a whole, this contribution seeks to connect the debate on sustainability with the ascertainable revival of the co-operative organisation model. Based on the sociological idea of Max Weber and Robert Hettlage the democratic potential of energy co-operatives is worked out and then incorporated into the debate on sustainability. As becomes evident, the newly founded energy co-operatives set up as “prosumer”-organisations may play a key role in an energy transition which is based on participatory principles.  (editorial reviewed
