4 páginas, 1 figura.Thousands of specimens of Palaemon macrodactylus Rathbun, 1902 have been collected in the course of an ongoing project, started May 1997, that studies the spatial and temporal distribution of the nektonic and hyperbenthic communities of the Guadalquivir estuary (southwestern North Atlantic, Spain) (Drake et al., 2002).The collections were made in the course of various projects in the Guadalquivir estuary, supported by “Consejeria de Medio Ambiente de la Junta de Andalucía” and “Ministerio de Ciencia y Tecnología” (REN2000-0822/ MAR). The participation of Jose A.
