4 pags. ; XXIXth Spanish relativity meeting (ERE 2006): Einstein's legacy: from the theoretical paradise to astrophysical observations. 4–8 September 2006, Palma de Mallorca, SpainSeveral results in the context of quantum gravity and related frameworks suggest the plausibility of modifications to the uncertainty principle and to the energy-momentum dispersion relation of special relativity. One of these frameworks is provided by gravity’s rainbow. We analyze the consequences that such modifications may have for black hole thermodynamics from the perspective of two different gravity’s rainbow formalisms. In this scenario, we show that the temperature of the black hole may vanish in the limit of zero mass under feasible conditions. The authors want to thank L J Garay and G Jannes for fruitful conversations and enlightening discussions.
