The research on relationship among online game endorsement, adolescent involvement and game purchase intention
This research aims to probe the influence of online game endorsement on adolescent involvement and game purchase intention. Involvement means the perceived importance and interest stimulate. The high involvement means consumers will spend more time considering and collecting data in order to make reasonable decision. Data was collected from 366 valid returned questionnaires. The study used Factor Analysis, Correlation, Regression and Mediation Analysis. The research finds that attraction and reliability of online game endorsement significantly and positively influence internal preference and external stimulus of game purchase intention; however, when adolescent involvement is the mediating variable, online game endorsement does not significantly influence game purchase. Thus, this paper suggests that the online game companies should select the suitable game spokespersons and enhance the adolescent's self-judgment
Stabilizer Approximation
We propose a heuristic method to obtain the approximate groundstate for a
Hamiltonian in the qubit form, based on the stabilizer formalism. These states
may serve as proper initial states for further refined computation. It would be
interesting to assess the efficiency and scalability of the method.Comment: 10 page
Research Notes : Taiwan : A spontaneous narrow-leaflet mutant
At the Asian Vegetable Research and Development Center, developing improved vegetable soybeans is one of the objectives. In accomplishing that objective, one of the crosses involved AGS 188, PI 157424 from Maturity Group IV and G 10381, cultivar \u27Kaohsiung\u27 No. 8 released by the Kaohsiung District Agricultural Improvement Station in Pingtung, Taiwan. The F1 and F2 progenies of the cross were normal
Using artificial intelligence to study the impact of jobseekers\u27 Facebook profile pictures on recruiters’ interview decision
Previous research has shown that jobseekers’ information on Facebook influences recruiters’ decision-making. This study extends previous research by using artificial intelligence to study the impact of jobseekers\u27 Facebook profile pictures sharing on recruiters\u27 decision-making during the pandemics.
For most people, Facebook is an integral part of everyday life. Facebook allows its jobseekers to interact with passive and active jobseekers in a low-cost and relatively easy way. Facebook is a useful business tool for companies and individuals to promote their brands, personal image and personality types. Jobseekers are one of the largest groups of Facebook jobseekers. Smart business recruiters and recruiters are using many tools and strategies to find the best Jobseekers on Facebook. Jobseekers’ Facebook profile pictures sharing has been a topic of interest to searchers in recent years.
This study collected data from 500 Jobseekers\u27 Facebook profile pictures and recruited 50 recruiters. The results show that the jobseekers\u27 Facebook profile pictures are positively correlated with recruiters\u27 interview decisions during the pandemic. This study uses artificial intelligence to judge the personality traits of jobseekers based on Facebook profile pictures and examines the impact of jobseekers\u27 Facebook profile pictures and recruiters’ interview decisions
Ethyl 3,4-dimethyl-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxylate
The non-H atoms of the title compound, C9H13NO2, are almost coplanar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.0358 Å). Weak intermolecular N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the molecules into zigzag chains along the b axis with graph-set motif C(5). The chains are further linked into a three-dimensional network by C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds and C—H⋯π interactions
Minimal effect of sleep on the risk of age-related macular degeneration: a Mendelian randomization study
AimsObservational studies have shown that sleep pattern is associated with age-related macular degeneration (AMD), but whether sleep pattern is a causal factor for AMD remains unclear. This study aims to use Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis to investigate the potential causal relationship between sleep traits and AMD.MethodsThis is a two-sample MR study. The single-nucleotide polymorphisms associated with AMD and early AMD were selected as the outcome from two different genome-wide association studies (GWAS): the early AMD GWAS with 14,034 cases and 91,214 controls, and AMD GWAS with 3,553 cases and 147,089 controls. The datasets of sleep duration, daytime dozing, and sleeplessness were used as exposure, which comprised nearly 0.46 million participants. Inverse-variance weighted method was used as the main result, and comprehensive sensitivity analyses were conducted to estimate the robustness of identified associations and the impact of potential horizontal pleiotropy.ResultsThrough MR analysis, we found that sleep duration was significantly associated with AMD (OR = 0.983, 95% CI = 0.970–0.996, P-value = 0.01). We also found suggestive evidence for the association of genetically predicted sleep duration with early AMD, which showed a consistent direction of effect with a marginal significance (OR = 0.724, 95% CI = 0.503–1.041, P-value = 0.08). Sensitivity analyses further supported the robustness of the causal relationship between sleep duration and AMD. However, we were unable to determine the relationship between daytime dozing or sleeplessness and AMD (including early AMD) (P-value > 0.05).ConclusionSleep duration affects the causal risk for AMD; that is, longer sleep duration reduces the risk of AMD, while shorter sleep duration increases the risk of AMD. Although the influence is minimal, keeping adequate sleep duration is recommended, especially for patients with intermediate or advanced AMD
High Impedance Arc Fault Modelling in Offshore Oil Platform Power Grid
In offshore oil platform power grid, high impedance arc fault occurs frequently. The fault characteristics of high- impedance arc information are weak and difficult to detect, which may not cause the protection method to activate. Therefore, it is important to detect and clear the high impedance fault. In the high impedance case, usually, the arc fault occurs. In the research, the arc model was established using the typical Cassie model and the high impedance arc fault characteristics in offshore oil platform power grids were analysed. An improved arc fault detection method using the phase angle difference between zero sequence voltage and zero sequence current was proposed to extract fault characteristics. This method requires limited detection information and high accuracy to solve the problem of small current and voltage changes in high-resistance arc faults. The offshore oil platform power grid and the arc were modelled using electromagnetic transients software PSCAD/EMTDC. The simulation results show that the arc model and fault detection method work well
Aqua[N-phenyl-2-(quinolin-8-yloxy)acetamide]dinitratozinc(II)
In the title complex, [Zn(NO3)2(C17H14N2O2)(H2O)], the six-coordinated Zn atom is in a distorted octahedral geometry, the donor centers being two O atoms and one N atom from the tridentate organic ligand, a water O atom and two O atoms from two monodentate nitrate ions. In the crystal, O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds between the coordinated water molecules and nitrate O atoms and N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds between the main ligand and nitrate O atoms consolidate the three-dimensional network
