    Experimental research to Optimize Process Parameters in Machining of Non Conducting Material with hybrid non conconventional machining

    Among all non conventional micro machining, electrochemical discharge machining ECDM is having high quality of material removal rate with zero residual stress. This machining has been accepted as a highly modern technology in micromachining. In this paper an effort has been done on micro drilling of glass using electrochemical discharge machining ECDM . A fixed tool and a step down transformer have been used to support the steady machining to increase the accuracy of work piece. The input parameters used in this experiment are voltage, concentration of electrolyte, enter electrode gap and ratio of area of electrode. MRR has been investigated over the input parameters. Feed rate and electrolyte temperature has been made constant of 3µm sec and 30°c respectively. Taguchi method is used to optimize the effect of the process parameters on MRR. The signal to noise S N ratio and the ANOVA analysis are employed to find the contributions of input parameters.     Sentiment Analysis Using Collaborated Opinion Mining

    Opinion mining and Sentiment analysis have emerged as a field of study since the widespread of World Wide Web and internet. Opinion refers to extraction of those lines or phrase in the raw and huge data which express an opinion. Sentiment analysis on the other hand identifies the polarity of the opinion being extracted. In this paper we propose the sentiment analysis in collaboration with opinion extraction, summarization, and tracking the records of the students. The paper modifies the existing algorithm in order to obtain the collaborated opinion about the students. The resultant opinion is represented as very high, high, moderate, low and very low. The paper is based on a case study where teachers give their remarks about the students and by applying the proposed sentiment analysis algorithm the opinion is extracted and represented.Comment: 5 pages, 6 figure

    Fluid simulation studies of the dynamical behaviour of one dimensional relativistic electromagnetic solitons

    A numerical fluid simulation investigation of the temporal evolution of a special class of traveling wave solution of the one dimensional relativistic cold plasma model is reported.The solutions consist of coupled electromagnetic and plasma waves in a solitary pulse shape (Phys. Rev. Lett. 68, 3172(1992); Phys. Plasmas 9, 1820(2002)).Issues pertaining to their stability, mutual collisional interactions and propagation in an inhomogeneous plasma medium are addressed. It is found that solitary pulses that consist of a single light peak trapped in a modulated density structure are long lived whereas structures with multiple peaks of trapped light develop an instability at the trailing edge. The interaction properties of two single peak structures show interesting dependencies on their relative amplitudes and propagation speeds and can be understood in terms of their propagation characteristics in an inhomogeneous plasma medium

    Experience of communal conflicts and inter-group lending

    We provide micro economic evidence on the link between ethnic frictions and market efficiency, using dyadic data on managers and borrowers from a large Indian bank. Our analysis builds on the idea that exposure to religion-based communal violence may intensify branch managers’ same-group preferences, and thus result in lending decisions that are more sensitive to a borrower’s religion. We find that,in our sample of Hindu loan officers, those with substantial riot exposure prior to joining the bank lend relatively less to Muslim borrowers. Riot-exposed officers’ loans to Muslims are also less likely to default, suggesting that the lower lending rate for Muslims is driven by taste-based discrimination. This bias is persistent across a bank officer’s tenure, suggesting that the economic costs of ethnic conflict are long-lasting, potentially spanning across generations.https://sites.bu.edu/fisman/files/2018/12/riot_experience_lending_rf23.pdfFirst author draf

    Somatic embryogenesis from mature caryopsis culture under abiotic stress and optimization of Agrobacterium-mediated transient GUS gene expression in embryogenic callus of rice (Oryza sativa L.)

    Induction and development of embryogenic callus from mature caryopsis culture of rice (Oryza sativa cv. ADT41) was performed by placing sterilized seeds on MS medium supplemented with 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid or 2,4-D (2.5, 5.0 and 10 mg/l). Morphogenesis in terms of somatic embryogenesis was recorded and 53% embryogenic callus formed by caryopsis culture indicates high chance of regenerating plants eventually. Furthermore, for water stress treatments, sterilized caryopses were cultured on semisolid MS medium supplemented with (5.0mg/l) of 2, 4-D and various concentrations of mannitol (2.5M, 5M and 10M) were added. Present study indicates that potentials of tissues for callus induction and embryo differentiation gradually decline if the level of mannitol is being increased in the nutrient media. Significantly, at high level of mannitol (5M), direct somatic embryo differentiation from the epicotyl tissues was also evident along with embryogenic callus formation at the basal region of the seedling. Similarly for salt stress treatments, MS medium was supplemented with various concentrations of NaCl (50 mM, 100 mM and 250 mM) along with 2, 4-D (5.0 mg/l). Results obtained on salt–stress treatments indicate that cultured rice cells may respond variously depending on the concentration of salt-stress present in the culture medium. Also, transformation experiments were conducted to optimize the transient GUS gene expression in mature caryopsis derived embryogenic callus by employing the various strains of Agrobacterium tumefaciens carrying the same plasmids or others. Calli were co-cultivated with Agrobacterium strains GV2260 (p35SGUSINT), LBA4404 (p35SGUSINT) and LBA4404 (pCAMBIA 3301) in the presence of acetosyringone (200 μM). Transformation events were best recorded in calli treated with Agrobacterium strain LBA4404 harbouring the plasmid p35SGUSINT, as evidenced by maximum frequency (29%) of transient GUS gene expression on histochemical assay and it was followed by strain GV2260 (p35SGUSINT), however, Agrobacterium strain LBA4404 (pCAMBIA3301) could be proved the least effective in terms of frequency of transient transformation and expression of GUS reporter gene in target tissues
