Current Approaches in Recurrent Aphthous Stomatitis
Recurrent Aphthous Stomatitis (RAS) is an oral disease with unclear etiology, and it negatively affects the patient's quality of life. The main symptom of RAS is pain, and it has affected 5%-25% of the Turkish population. It is diagnosed through clinical examination and evaluation of the patient's medical history. The treatment is commonly symptomatic. Before the treatment, predisposing factors should be prudently considered. The purpose of the treatment is to reduce pain, improve food consumption, and reduce the interval, recurrence, and frequency of lesions. Analgesics, corticosteroids, anti-microbiological agents, systemic agents, or local agents can be used depending on the lesion severity. The purpose of this review was to enlighten dentists about the diagnosis, epidemiology, etiology, pathology, differential diagnosis, and current treatment approaches for RAS
EYE-RELATED TRAUMA AND INFECTION IN DENTISTRY
Despite numerous technological and medical developments achieved in recent years, a significant amount of occupational health problems still exist in modern dentistry. The risk of eye injury is mostly attributed to the use of high-speed hand pieces and ultrasonic devices. A dental clinic may be the source of eye-related infection and injury because of mechanical, chemical, microbiological and electromagnetic irritants. Accidents may cause facial injuries that involve eyes of the clinicians, patients as well as dental assistants. Eye injuries can vary from mild irritation to blindness. The use of eye protection tools, such as protective goggles and visors, reduces the risk of eye damage or complete loss of vision while working with dangerous and floating materials. Therefore, all precautions should be taken, even when performing common procedures for which the risk expectancy is relatively low. Clinicians should be aware that they are also responsible for providing adequate protection for their assistants and patients, as well as themselves

Diagnostic Value of Minor Salivary Gland Biopsy: A Retrospective Study
Objective: Minor salivary gland biopsy is an adjunctive diagnostic method which is widely used and its diagnostic value is still controversial. It is mainly used in sarcoidosis and Sjogren's Syndrome. This study aims to identify the contribution of histopathological diagnosis to clinical diagnosis and to supply information to literature
