The following parasites were detected in 1268 patients: Entamoeba coli - 42.1 %, Giardia intestinalis - 41.1 %, Ascaris lumbricoides - 4.1 %, Trichuris trichiura – 6.5%, Taenia saginata - 3.3%, Entamoeba histolytica - 3.1 % and Strongyloides stercoralis – 0.7%
