Investigation of Physicochemical Properties of Partially Spent Platinum–Rhenium Reforming Catalyst
The physicochemical properties of the partially spent catalyst Pt-Re-Cl/Al2O3 reforming of petroleum
fractions (R- 98 UOP) have been studied. It has been found that during operation of the catalyst, a
reduction of textural characteristics, chemical composition, partial phase transformation of alumina
support, and accumulation of metallic impurities and carbon deposits take place. The DSC method
has been found the presence on the surface of the catalyst of various types of carbonaceous deposits
burnable at different temperatures. Their removal is complete at temperatures 500-550 °
Development Prospects of Oil and Gas Processing Complex in the Krasnoyarsk Region
The information on the state and development prospects of oil and gas processing complex in Russia
and in the Krasnoyarsk region is considered. A strategical role of the oil and gas fields located in the
Krasnoyarsk region in the reproduction of hydrocarbon raw materials and in the development of the
native oil and gas complex is emphasized. A topical question for the accelerated creation of modern
competitive technologies for oil and gas processing into the valuable liquid hydrocarbon products –
motor fuel, chemical raw materials, and other relevant products is substantiated. This will allow our
country taking a worthy role in the providing of oil, gas and their processing products in the market of
Asia-Pacific region

Technology and Properties
Petroleum coke is the main raw material for aluminum electrolysis anodes. Quality of coke determinates
the technology, ecology and economics of production of aluminum. From the aluminum producers
point of view, petroleum coke should have the following characteristics:
- a minimum ash content and the absence of impurities,
- high resistance to oxygen and CO2,
- low porosity and electrical resistivity
- mechanical strength, acceptable for processing
- good microstructure.
Petroleum coke is produced from petroleum residues and secondary petroleum products. Because of
the peculiarity of the technology, the quality of petroleum coke is a compromise between the receipt of
light fuel and raw coking. It is not surprising that only a very small amount of coke can satisfy all the
requirements of the aluminum industry. The purpose this article is formation of cokes properties from
the beginning of oil refining up to the anode plant. The article is the first in a lot of cooperated works
of the Siberian Federal University and specialists of the Achinsk refinery, dedicated to construction
and development of production of petroleum coke at the Achinsk refinery

Novel Zirconia Based Catalysts for the Isomerization of Alkanes of Petroleum Fractions
The data on the study of the formation of phase composition and textural properties of the catalysts
based on zirconia promoted by sulphate and tungstate anions and metal cations depended on the
composition of catalyst precursors and preparation conditions are presented in the paper. Catalytic
activity for the reaction of skeletal isomerization of C4-C7 n-alkanes are evaluated. Sulphated zirconia
catalysts are shown to behave high catalytic activity for isomerization of C4-C6 n-alkanes. However, the
tungstated zirconia based catalysts were mostly effective for selective isomerization of C6-C7 n-alkanes
into branched isomers with high octane numbers
