    Determinants of Approval Claims at Hospital Among COVID-19 Patients

    The COVID-19 pandemic is an issue that is being faced by Indonesia and even most countries in the world. The impact due to the COVID-19 pandemic is disruption of hospital with cash flow. It was caused by the delay in hospital payment of claims which are not approved by Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial (BPJS Kesehatan). Siloam Sentosa Hospital Bekasi provides services for COVID-19 patients. However, out 81 claims of COVID-19 patients in August-October 2020, there were 65 claims (80.25%) not approved by BPJS Kesehatan. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that affect the approval claims among patients with COVID-19 at Siloam Sentosa Hospital Bekasi. This type of research was descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach. The research population was 108 claims and the sample used the total population. A Logistic regression test was used to analyze the data. The results of the study explained the completeness of claims, the quality of the medical resume, the completeness of filling out the epidemiological investigation form, and the quality of clinical coding that affected the approval claims. The study showed 21.5% of other factors that are not examined can affect the approval claims. Socialization of policies related to payment of claims to hospitals as well as monitor and evaluate from both hospitals and BPJS Kesehatan need to be improved to prevent claims that are not approved

    The prevalence of dysmenorrhea is mostly experienced by teenagers. Study showed that woman who didexercise had less proportion to feel dysmenorrhea. For that reason, this research purpose to analyze effect exerciseon primary dysmenorrhea among student grade 10th in SMA Negeri 78 Jakarta Barat, which family historicalmenstruation pain, menstruation period, menarche, stress, coffee consumption, smoke exposure, and alcoholconsumption was controlled. To reach that purpose, the research used analysis method with case control study. Theminimum sample size used in this case-control study was calculated based on the hypothesis testing of differentproportions so that we obtained a total sample of cases and controls of 84 female students. Bivariate analysisshowed alcohol consumption and exercise had related to primary dysmenorrhea (p-value < 0.05). After controlledsome variables, multivariate analysis showed exercise had effected to primary dysmenorrhea with p-value 0.043and OR 1.937 (95% CI: 1.124 – 3.913). The result showed lack of exercise had a chance 1.937 times to feelprimary dysmenorrhea

    The medical recorders at the registration site have an important role because the initial documentation of the patient begins in the registration process. In general, the registration place can be divided into outpatient, inpatient, and emergency patient registration places. Several studies have shown the obstacles experienced by the medical recorders in the registration section, including queues, the medical record documents were not found, and the patient did not carry an identity card for treatment. From these problems, the purpose of this study is to analyze the need for medical recorders in the registration section based on the workload in the literature review. The design of this research is a literature review. The article in this study uses a time span of the last 5 years (2014 - 2019) and focuses on the area of research conducted in the hospital. Furthermore, from the screening results according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria of research articles, 6 research articles were obtained. The results of the review of the article show that the average available work time is 2,156 hours/year, the average standard time workload is 215,595 minutes/year, the average allowance standard is 0.15, and the need for available medical recorders that has been met is 34%. From the results of the research, there were still those that did not meet the need for medical recorders because they did work outside their basic duties. In addition, the process of searching for medical records that hampers services raised queuing problems

    Job satisfaction in hospitals was needed to improve the performance to be achieved by the hospital. Job satisfaction could have an impact on whether or not happy employees do their jobs. One factor that affects job satisfaction is work facilities. Job satisfaction in the PGI Cikini Hospital medical record unit looks not good. This could be seen from the absence of employees by 15%. The problem complained by employees was the lack of work equipment provided by hospitals. The purpose of this study was to analyze the correlation between work facilities and job satisfaction at medical record unit PGI Cikini Hospital. This study used a cross-sectional study design with a total sample of all employees of the PGI Cikini Hospital Medical Record Unit with a total of 30 persons. The study was conducted from March to December 2019. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Analysis conducted descriptively to display the data of each variable and also analytically with Pearson correlation test to analyze the relationship between work facilities and job satisfaction. There was a strong, positive correlation between work facilities and job satisfaction (rxy=0,609). Work facilities and job satisfaction have a statistically significant linear relationship (p-value 0,000). There was a correlation between work facilities and job satisfaction at medical record unit PGI Cikini Hospital
