    Pengaruh Metode SMS Centre Pregnancy terhadap Pengetahuan Kia dalam Buku Kia pada Ibu Hamil Trimester III di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Puter Kota Bandung

Buku KIA adalah sarana untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil, sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemandirian keluarga dalam memelihara kesehatan, mencegah, mendeteksi secara dini, serta menanggulangi masalah kesehatan ibu. Metode SMS Centre Pregnancy mengajak ibu untuk membaca buku KIA. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengetahuan tentang KIA dalam buku KIA sebelum dan sesudah metode SMS Centre Pregnancy pada ibu hamil. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan quasi experiment dengan pre-test and post-test group design. Jumlah responden sebanyak 30 orang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling Uji hipotesis yang digunakan adalah Wilcoxon. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan (p=0.000) antara pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan SMS Centre Pregnancy. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh metode SMS Centre Pregnancy terhadap pengetahuan tentang KIA dalam buku KIA pada ibu hamil. Saran untuk penelitian ini, bagi pihak puskesmas dapat menentukan kebijakan tentang penggunaan metode SMS Centre Pregnancy. Untuk peneliti selanjutnya disarankan untuk meneliti faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengetahuan ibu hamil tentang KIA dalam buku KIA pada metode SMS Centre Pregnancy. Kata Kunci : Buku KIA, SMS, Ibu hamil ABSTRACT One of the Government\u27s policies to reduce maternal mortality was the provision of Maternal and Child Health Handbook (MCH). Maternal and child health handbook is a means to improve the knowledge of pregnant women, which is expected to increase the autonomy of the family in the care of health, prevention, early detection, and solve the problem of maternal health. SMS Centre pregnancy methods invited mothers to read MCH. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in knowledge about MCH in MCH book before and after the SMS Pregnancy Center method in pregnant women Used a quasi-experimental research design with pre-test and post-test design group. Sampling used a purposive sampling technique. The number of respondents as many as 30 people. Hypothesis test used was Wilcoxon. Hypothesis test results showed a significant difference (p = 0.000) between the knowledge before and after the pregnancy center of SMS.The conclusion of this study was indicate that method of SMS Centre pregnancy influence to the knowledge of the MCH in MCH book for pregnant women. Suggestions for this study, Community Health Center can determine the policy on the use of the SMS Centre pregnancy methods. For further research are advised to examine the factors that affect maternal knowledge about MCH in MCH book on the method of SMS Center Pregnancy

    Hubungan Pengetahuan Ibu Tentang Risiko Tinggi Kehamilan dengan Kepatuhan Kunjungan Antenatal Care

    High risk pregnancy is a major factor in high rates of maternal mortality worldwide. In Indonesia, maternal mortality rate followed by the low utilization of antenatal care, while antenatal care is one way to detect the early presence of high risk pregnancies. In Bandung, the maternal mortality case in 2010 reached 25 cases and coverage of antenatal care visits are still below the minimum limit, it was 90,60% for K4. This study aims to look at the relationship between maternal knowledge about high risk pregnancy and antenatal care visit adherence. This research was a descriptive correlational research with cross sectional study. The sample involved was 66 post-partum mothers with a history of high risk pregnancies who were getting treatment in postpartum ward of RSKIA Bandung. Questionnaires and observation sheets were used to collect the data. The results of this study showed that 48.5% of the total respondents knowledgeable enough about high-risk pregnancies, 57.6% of respondents did not comply with the schedule of antenatal care visits, and there was a low relationships between those two variables. From the results of this research, health services is expected to increase knowledge of high risk pregnant women about pregnancy through health education as a series of antenatal care and utilization of MCH book maximally

    Effect of School Community Empowerment Model Towards Handwashing Implementation Among Elementary School Students in Dayeuhkolot Subdistrict

    Handwashing with soap behavior in Indonesia remains a problem. The cause is associated with lack of awareness in handwashing with soap. This study aimed to determine effect of school community empowerment on handwashing implementation among elementary school students in Dayeuhkolot Subdistrict, Bandung District. This study used quasi experimental design with pretest and posttest, also descriptive and inferential analysis. Samples consisted of 24 teachers, 377 students at 4th – 6th grade and 24 little doctors. The approach method in this study was using integrated school health effort (combined model of fit for school and selected school health effort) consisting of six stages. Instruments were knowledge questionnaires, observation and checklist sheets. Handwashing with soap was evaluated for three months. Results found that score of little doctors in good category increased in skill of handwashing with soap from 0% to 100%, the skill among the students improved in good category from 0% to 87.5%.     Parent's Anxiety Towards Juvenile Deliquency Phenomenon in Bandung, Indonesia

    Juvenile delinquency is a behavior that can disturb the local people, especially parents who have adolescents. Parents who have adloescents will be more anxious and will treat their child in a overprotective way to keep their child from juvenile delinquency. This study aims to know the level of parental anxiety about juvenile delinquency phenomenon in Babakansari Kiaracondong Bandung.This study used quantitative descriptive method with cross sectional approach. The sample which was taken using proporsionate random sampling technique are 258 respondents. The data collection used State-Trait Anxiety for Adults. The results of this study indicate that in the state anxiety most respondents (55.8%) had moderate anxiety level. Whereas, in trait anxiety almost all respondents (76.0%) had moderate anxiety level.The conclusions in this study that the level of anxiety of parents who have adolescents to the phenomenon of juvenile delinquency in Babakansari village are at moderate level. Based on these results, there should be special attention from the government working with community mental nurses to provide interventions such as emotional control, information about juvenile delinquency and help parents develop their ability to resolve problems related to the anxiety

    Relation of Media on Adolescents' Reproductive Health Attitude and Behaviour

    Media as a tool that is widely used by adolescents in seeking information has an impact on their attitudes and behavior, including adolescent reproductive health behaviors. This article aimed to determine the relationship of the media with adolescent reproductive health attitudes and behaviors. The research design was a cross-sectional approach. Data collection was done through questionnaires and were analyzed using frequency distribution and chi-square test. The population of this study were students of SMPN and SMAN in Kabupaten Bandung totaling 12,000, samples were selected by stratified random sampling and totaling 668 students. The results found that the handbook (p = 0.31), newspapers (p = 0.46), TV (p = 0.63), radio (p = 1.00), VCD (p = 0.92), and the Internet (p = 0.13) had no relationship with attitude. However, internet (p = 0.03), newspapers (p = 0.01), and radio (p = 0.02) related to behavior, while handbooks (p = 0.14), TV (p = 0.49), and VCD (p = 1.00) did not have relationship with behavior. Media of internet, radio, and newspapers relate to adolescent reproductive health behavior. The media can be used as a means of education in adolescents, especially behavior about adolescent reproductive health

    Effect of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever Health Education on Knowledge and Attitudes, in Elementary School Children in West Java, Indonesia

    Background: Flooding due to Citarum river overflowing is a natural phenomenon that is almost common every year, especially for the area around Citarum Dayeuhkolot. Floods cause various health problems, such as Dengue Haemorogic Fever (DHF). The high incidence of environmental-based infectious diseases in flood-prone villages in Dayeuhkolot is caused by problems in the health determinant factor which is associated with the still low awareness of the community that supports clean and healthy lifestyle behaviors (PHBS). Objective: To determine the effect of DHF prevention education on elementary school students' knowledge and attitudes. Methods: Quasi-experimental research design with pre-test and post-test design. The study was conducted at Bojong Asih Elementary School, Pasawahan Elementary School, Cangkuang Elementary School, and Leuwi Bandung Elementary School in 2017. The samples in this study were all students in grades 4- 6 totaling 323 people. All students were given a questionnaire before the intervention and then given counseling about the prevention of DHF and given a questionnaire again to measure the level of knowledge and attitudes. Data analysis uses descriptive univariate analysis and bivariate t test. The approach method in this research uses the Integrated UKS method.&nbsp
