Extraction of |V ub | with Reduced Dependence on Shape Functions
Using BABAR measurements of the inclusive electron spectrum in B → Xueν decays and the inclusive photon spectrum in B → Xsγ decays, we extract the magnitude of the CKM matrix element V ub . The extraction is based on theoretical calculations designed to reduce the theoretical uncertainties by exploiting the assumption that the leading shape functions are the same for all b → q transitions (q is a light quark). The results agree well with the previous analysis, have indeed smaller theoretical errors, but are presently limited by the knowledge of the photon spectrum and the experimental errors on the lepton spectrum

Measurement of B(J/psi->eta_c gamma) at KEDR
We present a study of the inclusive photon spectrum from 6.3 million J/psi
decays collected with the KEDR detector at the VEPP-4M e+e- collider. We
measure the branching fraction of the radiative decay J/psi -> eta_c gamma,
eta_c width and mass. Taking into account an asymmetric photon line shape we
obtain: M(eta_c) = (2978.1 +- 1.4 +- 2.0) MeV/c^2, Gamma(eta_c) = (43.5 +- 5.4
+- 15.8) MeV, B(J/psi->eta_c gamma) = (2.59 +- 0.16 +- 0.31)%$.Comment: 6 pages, 1 figure. To be published in the proceedings of the 4th

Measurement of J/psi to eta_c gamma at KEDR
We present a study of the inclusive photon spectra from 5.9 million J/psi
decays collected with the KEDR detector at the VEPP-4M e+e- collider. We
measure the branching fraction of radiative decay J/psi to eta_c gamma, eta_c
width and mass. Our preliminary results are: M(eta_c) = 2979.4+-1.5+-1.9 MeV,
G(eta_c) = 27.8+-5.1+-3.3 MeV, B(J/psi to eta_c gamma) = (2.34+-0.15+-0.40)%.Comment: To be published in Proceedings of the PhiPsi09, Oct. 13-16, 2009,

Studies of Bs2∗(5840)0 and Bs1(5830)0 mesons including the observation of the Bs2∗(5840)0→B0KS0 decay in proton-proton collisions at s=8TeV.
Measurements of Bs2∗(5840)0 and Bs1(5830)0 mesons are performed using a data sample of proton-proton collisions corresponding to an integrated luminosity of , collected with the CMS detector at the LHC at a centre-of-mass energy of 8TeV . The analysis studies P-wave Bs0 meson decays into B(∗)+K- and B(∗)0KS0 , where the B+ and B0 mesons are identified using the decays B+→J/ψK+ and B0→J/ψK∗(892)0 . The masses of the P-wave Bs0 meson states are measured and the natural width of the Bs2∗(5840)0 state is determined. The first measurement of the mass difference between the charged and neutral B∗ mesons is also presented. The Bs2∗(5840)0 decay to B0KS0 is observed, together with a measurement of its branching fraction relative to the Bs2∗(5840)0→B+K- decay
