ASPECTS REGARDING THE SUPPLIERS’ EVALUATION OF A COMPANY THAT MAKES BEARINGS
In the supply of materials and technical equipment, a special importance is given to the decision of selecting supply sources and suppliers. Choosing the supplier has become a real “art”; the action is based on the prior study of main data and information which can characterise each supplier. Based on the collected data and information, a comparative evaluation is provided, which classifies each supplier according to a percentage (or a grading scale) assigned based on the importance of the established classification criteria. The suppliers’ evaluation and selection time is essential because the market where the material activities will run is practically now being established. This selection activity thus involves the existence of certain specific analysis criteria on which to obtain a correct evaluation of each supplier. The purchasing strategy is followed by the tactical selection of the selling companies. The suppliers’ selection involves a preliminary process of identification of potential candidates. The paper analyses how certain suppliers’ evaluation of a company that makes bearings is being practiced (the space did not allow for an analysis of all suppliers, but the procedure is identical for each supplier separately), and in the end, the resulting conclusions are mentioned.evaluation, suppliers, bearings
THE ANALYSIS OF THE CFR TRAVELERS SA ACTIVITY FROM THE VIEWPOINT OF EFFICIENCY INDICATORS
The purpose of the paper is to make an analysis of the transport activity at CFR travellers SA based on the evolution of the main efficiency indicators in this field. The purpose of the analysis is to accurately determine the advantages and disadvantages of this activity and to find ways to improve it. We have chosen this activity because it has dropped in intensity during the last years and also because its quality is lacking in Romania. The analyzed period is 2007-2009 and graphics have been made to see the indicators’ evolution and to allow the activity’s assessment. The European Union encourages railway transport because of its advantages and because it is probably the most environmentally friendly and it is one way to achieve sustainable transport.indicators; efficiency; passenger; railway transport
Rural and historical tourism in Dobrugea
By its geographical location, the rural area from Dobrudgea has a diversified tourism potential, provided by the contrasting natural environmental factors, ranging from the oldest to the youngest relief units, natural protected areas, balneary resources and cultural, historical, religious sites, as well as multicultural local customs and traditions of the rural area. This potential can be used under various forms in the rural area: cultural tourism, historical tourism, religious tourism, ecotourism, fishing tourism or bird-watching tourism, as well as other kinds of rural tourism. By linking these tourism resources and tourism forms, tourism routes can result, which, together with the local customs, traditions and cuisine may contribute to the social and economic development of Dobrudgea's rural area, through sustainable tourism as an alternative to seasonal seashore tourism
Development and promotion of rural tourism through European funds in Romania
Romania has a great tourism potential, but unfortunately this potential has not been explored enough. The objective of this paper is to analyze how the European funds were accessed for developing and promoting tourism activities in rural areas at national level. The work is based on the data processed according to the European Commission Statistics (Eurostat) and the national statistics. The databases published by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and different organizations in the field were also investigated. The research methods were represented by data collection, mainly online data, data processing, centralization and synthetic presentation (under tabular form). The investments in rural tourism have a great advantage, i.e. job creation and maintaining the local (rural) labour, revitalization of rural localities, mainly those from the less-favoured and remote rural areas

Non-agricultural activities in the economic development of the Romanian rural area
The Romanian rural economy is mainly an agricultural economy, as the share of agricultural economy is 60% compared to 14% in European Union. Most farmers practise part-time agriculture, insufficiently spending the working time on agricultural activities. In total Romanian rural area, the non-agricultural economy (SMEs in industry, services, rural tourism) has a low share, while the rural tourism, except for certain mountain zones and the Danube Delta is poorly developed. In such conditions, the paper contains an inventory of the most important methods for increasing the available time used in non-agricultural activities, as alternatives for part-time agriculture, which may become an important income source for family farms. The work relies on data processed according to the European Commission Statistics (Eurostat) and the national statistics, in order to reveal the labour force employment in agriculture. The investments in the non-agricultural and food economy, while contributing to gross value added increase through the processing of agricultural and non-agricultural raw materials from local resources, has another great advantage, by creating new jobs and by using and maintaining the local (rural) labour, revitalization of rural localities, mainly those in the less-favoured and remote rural areas
Managerial skills of women entrepreneurs in Dobrudgea's rural area
Women have become more important in the global market, not just as employees, but also as consumers, entrepreneurs, managers and investors. This paper aims to capture the managerial skills of women entrepreneurs in Dobrudgea's rural area and the difficulties that women entrepreneurs are facing, the gender differences and gender diversity in business, as well as their impact on the economy. By approaching this theme, we intend to highlight the problems faced by women both in terms of concepts and education by analyzing the employment rate by age, status and education level. Although women are still a minority in entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial skills and women workforce in rural areas are underused, in recent years there has been a considerable increase worldwide in the number of women who start and run their own business. Moreover, it is a general characteristic of Eastern European countries, which have the lowest levels of women's participation in entrepreneurial activities
European Union on the international stage
The EU is facing crucial external challenges for its present and future stability, security and prosperity. The instability in the Middle East, terrorism, the global warming and environmental change issue, the world’s growing economic globalization and its outsiders, or the political and economical competition with the Chinese and Indian giants leading to increasingly rival partnerships must be properly understood and assessed in the full extend of their implications and consequences, and addressed by appropriate policies. But the future of EU’s role as an international actor is also being decisively shaped today by the challenges the EU faces from its Eastern neighborhood which are likely to have fundamental long term economical and political consequences on the EU. These challenges directly influence EU’s stability, security and prosperity and ability to be an international actor capable of identifying its interests, and successfully pursuing or protecting them. Keywords: foreign, relations, enlargement, world, actor.
