IMPROVEMENT OF EFFECTIVENESS OF PRODUCTS PLACING AND DISPATCH IN THE DISPATCH WAREHOUSE OF THE ROUGH ROLLING PLANT
The paper describes a metallurgical enterprise and its production plants, including assortment of the manufactured products. The paper continues by the system of placing these products into a dispatch warehouse of the rough rolling plant, describes its benefits and disadvantages in connection with another processes. It also contains several alternatives of products disposition in warehouse with regards to certain criteria, as well as reasons why the enterprise should place emphasis on a correct lay-out of the products, which will lead to the grow of the effectiveness of placing and dispatch of the products and - by this - to the decrease of the total costs of the enterprise

Alkaline carbonates in blast furnace process
The production of iron in blast furnaces is a complex of physical, chemical and mechanical processes. The input raw
materials contain not only metallic components, but also a number of negative elements. The most important negative
elements include alkaline carbonates. They can significantly affect the course of the blast furnace process and
thus the overall performance of the furnace. As a result of that, it is essential to accurately monitor the alkali content
in the blast furnace raw materials. The article analyzes the alkali content in input and output raw materials and their

LACK OF STOCKS RISK REDUCTION
Within the present market conditions, stock control is ranked among very complicated spheres. Stocks not only cover possible outages in deliveries but also mean cost burdens for the company. Lately, a number of companies makes effort to determine exactly the amount of the buffer stocks which can protect them against negative effects of the surrounding. Logical conceptions offer a possibility of the use of different instruments for the determination of the buffer stock. However, a number of them uses a complicated mathematical apparatus, which is unsuitable for the practical usage under the industrial conditions. This article deals with an analysis of the use of a simple operative instrument for the determination of the amount of the buffer stock. wastes) from the point of view of the identifi ed specifi cs and to propose the priorities for their elimination in metallurgical
