Application of GIS Technology for Cultural Mapping: The Case of Havelis in Shahjahanabad
Despite the widespread prevalence of Geographical Information Systems (GISs) in areas such as urban and regional planning, transportation, environment and several allied fields, their use in heritage conservation remains limited in India. The recently initiated collaborative research between the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), Delhi, and Politecnico di Torino, Italy, envisages to address this gap by using GIS in not only documenting the havelis of the historic area of Shahjahanabad but also using this as a tool to arrive at planning and design decisions that can help in both preserving the structures as well as improving the quality of life of residents. Still in its preliminary phase, the research aims to create an open-source web-based platform which would enable anyone to get a variety of spatial data and information about havelis
Comparative Analysis of Artificial Intelligence for Indian Legal Question Answering (AILQA) Using Different Retrieval and QA Models
Legal question-answering (QA) systems have the potential to revolutionize the
way legal professionals interact with case law documents. This paper conducts a
comparative analysis of existing artificial intelligence models for their
utility in answering legal questions within the Indian legal system,
specifically focusing on Indian Legal Question Answering (AILQA) and our study
investigates the efficacy of different retrieval and QA algorithms currently
available. Utilizing the OpenAI GPT model as a benchmark, along with query
prompts, our investigation shows that existing AILQA systems can automatically
interpret natural language queries from users and generate highly accurate
responses. This research is particularly focused on applications within the
Indian criminal justice domain, which has its own set of challenges due to its
complexity and resource constraints. In order to rigorously assess the
performance of these models, empirical evaluations are complemented by feedback
from practicing legal professionals, thereby offering a multifaceted view on
the capabilities and limitations of AI in the context of Indian legal
question-answering
Management of Fusarium wilt of tomato (Pusa Ruby) by plant extracts and fungicides
Fusarium wilt disease of tomato caused by Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici is one of the most important and widespread disease of the cultivated tomato. The yield loss in tomato in temperate region of India due to this disease is 10 to 90 percent. Investigation was undertaken to screen out the fungicides viz., Azoxystrobin(T1), Propineb(T2), Thiophanate Methyl (T3), Difenoconazole(T4), Mancozeb(T5), Mancozeb + Thiophanate Methyl(T6), Boscolid+Pyraclostrobin(T7) and control (T8) and plant extracts viz, onion bulb(T9), ,ginger rhizome(T10), garlic clove(T11), neem leaf (T12), ashwagandha leaf(T13), sarpgandha leaf(T14), ashok leaf(T15) and control (T16) , against wilt of tomato under in vivo and in vivo conditions. Ginger rhizome extract (T10) was found very promising as it produced 82.2 % growth inhibition of F. oxysporumf.sp. lycopersiciat @t 15 % concentration followed by garlic clove(T11) (76.1%). Two soil drenching withgarlic clove(T11), @ 15 percent showed minimum disease incidence of (16.6%) with maximum yield (435.3 q/ha) followed by ginger rhizome(T10) extract (18.4% and 428.2 q/ha). Mancozeb + Thiophanate Methyl(T6), Difenoconazole(T4) and Thiophanate Methyl(T6) completely inhibited the radial growth and sporulation of Fusarium oxysporumf.sp. lycopersici after 144 hrs of incubation. Two soil drenching of Mancozeb +Thiophanate Methyl(T6), @ 15 per cent was also found the best for managing the disease as minimum disease incidence (5.3%) and highest yield (470.9 q/ha) was recorded
Vibration Analysis for Engine fault Detection
In the Vibration analysis for engine fault detection, we use different visualization graph. Today‘s world growing fast and machinery part getting complex so it’s difficult to find out fault in the machine so here means in this paper we explain how we find out the fault of the machine with help of visualization it’s easy to find out a fault here we use angular.js, D3.js for visualization and use MQTT protocol for publishing and subscribe sensor data. In the automobile industries machines are the main part of how we find out fault yes we find out fault with help of sensors using sensors here we analyze the machine
Assessment of foot trajectories and ground reaction force in a trans-femoral amputee with Jaipur Knee and 3R20 knee joints
In developing countries like India, unilateral transfemoral amputees encounter with the challenge to select and evaluate the knee joint performance. This study aims to evaluate the response of knee joint on vertical ground reaction forces (vGRFs), walking speed, range of motion (ROM) of joints like hip, knee and ankle joints in first two weeks and enhanced response. Movements of different joints were recorded through VICON motion analysis system. Vertical ground reaction forces were captured through AMTI strain gauzed force plate. It has been observed that in two weeks normalized speed increases 0.41 to 0.49 with 3R20. Range of motion of joints was observed with interesting fact that in general with 3R20, joints angle their respective ROM were more than Jaipur Knee but in same cases in second half of gait cycle Jaipur Knee responded better than 3R20 knee joint
Multiparton Cwebs at five loops
Scattering amplitudes involving multiple partons are plagued with infrared
singularities. The soft singularities of the amplitude are captured by the soft
function which is defined as the vacuum expectation value of Wilson line
correlators. Renormalization properties of soft function allows us to write it
as an exponential of the finite soft anomalous dimension. An efficient way to
study the soft function is through a set of Feynman diagrams known as Cwebs
(webs). We obtain the mixing matrices and exponentiated colour factors for all
the Cwebs at five loops that connect six massless Wilson lines. Our results are
the first key ingredient for the calculation of the soft anomalous dimension at
five loops.Comment: 46 pages, 29 figures, 27 tables and 1 ancillary fil
Rational Points on Elliptic Curves
The aim of this thesis is to dene the Elliptic Curves and some of intresting properties of a special
class of terms, namely, rational point of elliptic curve ,The properties of the rational pooint of curve
is airthmetic ,and rational point on elliptic curve forms a nitely generated group structure group it
will be done by using the chord-tangent group law of composition. After completing the the abelian
group structure,so we look some elementary properties like for a given elliptic curve we nd the
torsion subgroup of that elliptic curves.and nally done the elliptic curve and their isomorphism.
Further, we study different families of elliptic curves which depend on different parameters.
Moreover, we look at the reduction modulo p of an elliptic curve and infer the meaning of good and
bad reduction of an elliptic curve. Lastly, the statement and proof of Mordell-Weil theorem is given.
The topics of the thesis are based on the book Elliptic Curves by Dale Husemoller. I have
not added anything new, except making a few observations of my own
AN OUTLINE OF VARIABLES IN PELLETIZATION BY EXTRUSION AND SPHERONIZATION
Pelletization is an agglomeration process which converts fine granules or powders of bulk drugs into small, free-flowing, spherical units, known as pellets. The pelletization can be achieved either through agitation, compaction (extrusion-spheronization), drug layering and globulation. Among the various pelletization techniques extrusion–spheronization process is preferred over other methods for the preparation of pellets as it allows the incorporation of the higher amount of drug, modified physical characteristics of the drug (density, sphericity, narrow size distribution, smoother surface) and multiple drugs can be easily combined in the same unit. This current review summarizes the findings or investigations by the researchers on various variables, including process parameters, equipment parameters and formulation parameters influencing the quality of pellets. The article also focuses on process optimization and additives used in pellets formulation. To prepare the current review search criterion used was the parameters affecting final pellet characterization in the extrusion spheronization process. The sources were peer-reviewed relevant scientific articles of recognized journals. Keywords used as filters were extrusion, spheronization, formulation parameters, process parameters, equipment parameters, moisture content, granulating liquid, drying rate, extrusion temperature, spheronizer load, pelletization. Literature survey has been done in a range of years (1992-2019) regarding the various variables of the extrusion spheronization process, which affects and has foremost impact on the final quality of pellets so as to make the review updated and comprehensive
