    Preparativos da aula de japonês com o uso de obras literárias: análise e estratégias

    外国語教育で文学作品を使うことの利点については確認されており、特に語彙の増加、文脈の明示、モチベーションの向上などがそれである。中でもテキストを解釈するうえで、頭の中で翻訳することの利点が指摘されており、母語での理解はより迅速、かつ効率的である。しかし、言語教育での文学を使ったストラテジーを構築するための教師のテキスト分析についてはほとんど言及されていない。本稿ではテキストマイニングプログラム、AntConcを使用し、授業で使ったあるテキストを分析した。その結果、その作品の様々な特徴が特定できた。例えば、主要人物、主に使われている動詞、一度しか使われていない動詞、異口同音に使われる助詞や助動詞などである。これらの結果から文学作品を言語教育に使う際、テキスト分析は非常に重要であり、それにより、教師が効率的に言語を教える際、ストーリーの流れの中で何をどのように教えるべきか決めることができる。O uso de obras literárias no ensino de LE tem sido reconhecido benéfico, especialmente no aumento de vocabulário, esclarecimento contextual, melhoria na motivação dentre outros. Ao compreender a obra, há evidências da utilização da tradução mental para facilitar o processamento cognitivo eficaz na LM. No entanto, a análise textual pelo professor para estabelecer estratégias no ensino é pouco estudada, apesar da complexidade do texto literário. Nesta pesquisa, utiliza-se a ferramenta de text-mining, AntConc, para observar um texto usado em uma disciplina de japonês na Universidade de Brasília. O resultado demonstra várias características da obra como: personagens principais, frequência de ocorrência dos verbos, diferentes usos de partículas/auxiliares verbais. Por meio desses resultados, ressalta-se a importância da análise textual no uso de obras literárias para o ensino de LE, em que o professor decide o que e como ensinar a língua com eficácia, dentro da fluidez da história

    Revendo a função da tradução na sala de aula

    This article discusses the use of translation as a potential tool of learning foreign languages (LEs). In order to develop the methodological discussion, it is treated separated from the professional translation. In the point of view of the pedagogic translation, it analyzes the characteristics of the translation as an innate ability of the human and its natural and spontaneous engagement in the class room. It discusses the critics about translation and it presents some example of its use as a tool in order to show the positive characteristics. It is concluded, therefore, translation may be more actively employed to promote the cognitive activity of the LE learners.O artigo trata do uso da tradução como uma ferramenta em potencial para a aprendizagem de línguas estrangeiras. A fim de desenvolver a discussão metodológica da tradução pedagógica, é preciso distingui-la da tradução profissional. Do ponto de vista da tradução pedagógica, analisa-se a característica da tradução como uma habilidade inata do ser humano e seu engajamento natural e espontâneo na sala de aula. Discutem-se as críticas acerca da tradução e, com o intuito de sustentar os pontos positivos de suas características, apresentam-se alguns usos desta ferramenta, concluindo que ela poderá ser mais ativamente empregada para promover a atividade cognitiva dos alunos de LE

    Ações influentes na aquisição da oralidade em Língua Japonesa como LE

    This work proposes to investigate actions that happen in a Japanese language classroom to observe acquisition of oral skill as focus point. Based on Brown (2000; 2007), Benson (2001) and among others, our research aims to see the relationship between methods used by the teacher and beginners students’ oral skill development. With such methods as direct observation, questionnaires and the application of two oral testes, we identify that the methods used by the teacher made both positive as well as negative effects. We perceived that the teacher immediately adjusted his methods, as he noticed the students´ difficulty; as a result, he made them learn the target language. As it was evident, the teacher varies his methods and techniques in the classroom. Besides, one of the interesting factors is the students´ collaboration in the classroom, in which one helps the other so that it made the class acquire the target language.Este trabalho propõe-se a investigar ações de aprendizagem de uma sala de aula de um curso de língua japonesa, a qual possui como foco a aquisição da oralidade. Baseado em Brown (2000; 2007) e Benson (2001) dentre outros, nossa pesquisa objetiva observar a relação entre os métodos utilizados pelo professor e o desenvolvimento oral de alunos iniciantes. Por meio do método de observação direta, de questionários e de aplicação de testes orais, identificou-se que os métodos utilizados pelo professor geram efeitos tanto positivos quanto negativos. Notou-se que, ao se identificar uma dificuldade dos alunos, o professor imediatamente ajustou os seus métodos; como resultado, conduziu os alunos a aprenderem a língua alvo. Assim, verificou-se, no professor, uma variação de métodos e de técnicas em sala de aula. Ademais, notou-se que um dos fatores interessantes assistido foi a colaboração dos alunos em sala de aula, em que um ajudou o outro, auxiliando a turma adquirir a língua alvo
