Initial-conditions problem for a Chiral Gross-Neveu system
A time-dependent projection technique is used to treat the initial-value
problem for self-interacting fermionic fields. On the basis of the general
dynamics of the fields, we derive formal equations of kinetic type for the set
of one-body dynamical variables. A nonperturbative mean-field expansion can be
written for these equations. We treat this expansion in lowest order, which
corresponds to the Gaussian mean-field approximation, for a uniform system
described by the Chiral Gross-Neveu Hamiltonian. Standard stationary features
of the model, such as dynamical mass generation due to chiral symmetry breaking
and a phenomenon analogous to dimensional transmutation, are reobtained in this
context. The mean-field time evolution of non-equilibrium initial states is
discussed.Comment: 31 pages, latex, 3 figures. The previous section 5 has been split

Fabrication of PV2-GE Air Intake Ducts for 1:7.645 and 1:4.405 scale LCA Kaveri Air Intake Models
This report highlights the Fabrication of PV2-GE Air Intake ducts for 1:7.645 and 1:4.405 scale LCA Kaveri Air Intake models undertaken at NAL for Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA), Bangalore. The modifications were carried out on the PVI-Kaveri/LCA (Navy) Air Intake Models which were necessiated due to certain changes in air intake configuration of PV series to suit GE Engine installation. The modifications included a) The design and fabrication of one pair each of 1:7.645 and 1:4.405 scale models of front duct modules as per PV2-GE air ntake duct configuration. b) Modifications of rear duct of 1:7.645 and 1:4.405 scale models. c) Modifications of forebody. The forebodies and front duct modules of both the models were inspected using Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). The models after assembly and painting were delivered to the sponsors
Development Of Spar Mould Of A 11.5m Gfrp Wind Mill Power Turbine Blade(300 Kw)
This document highlights the development of the state-of-the-art 11 .5m long, medium scale horizontal axis composite blade .This report presents tooling and mould developmental activities for the developmental of spar using the existing broken blade provided by the sponsor
Development and Fabrication of Composite Tooling for the DWR Mark-Ii RADOME
This report highlights the composite tooling for the development of MARK-II Version Radome, of 12 .88mm dia, with less number of panels incorporating more randomization in the panels . The tooling development (Patterns / Moulds) for PUF
core castings and sandwich panel fabrication methodology was specific for this type of applicatio
Pattern and Tooling Development for the Radome Fairings (TDF & ADF ) for HOMI TU- 142M Aircraft
The I n h Navy under the programme SANGRAHA had initiated a project for the installation of 'HOMI ESM System' on TU-142M aircraft. The development of composites,radomes/fairings for the TDF of ADF antenna located at various points of the aircraft has been undertaken by NAL. There are 2 types of antenna fairings which are designated as the TDF and ADFfairings. There are four TDF radomes located on the under belly of the aircraft and there are four ADF radomes, two of them on the right wing top(in forward and Aft location) and the other two are located at the left wing tip
Development of a 7sq.m large PUF core panel for realization of Mark-I1 Radome for DWR
This report presents the Development of a 7sq.m large PUF core panel for realization of Mark-I1 Radome for DWR. After the succesfull development and installation of Mark-I Radome at Sriharikota (AP). The sponsors (ISTRAC-1SRO)were interested in develop the Mark-II radome. The Mark-II radome had improved feature such as no. of panels and joint lengths were reduced with overall diameter remaining same. So that EM performance can be further improved without compromising on the structural strength
Fabrication Highlights of 12.88m dia Mark-II Radome panels for ISRAD-1SRO
Mark-I radome for ISTRAC-ISRO comprised of 166 panels (Hexagon and Pentagon) with 5000 blts. It was required to reduce the number of panels and bolts for improved along performance along hexagonal shaped panels were chosen and Mark-II radome with 66 panels and 300 bolts was fabricated successful. This project document details the fabrication procedure for Mark-I1 radome
On site maintenance support for 300 KW wind turbine at Kethanur, Coimbatore
On-site repair was carried out on 300 KW wind turbine blade for Sangeeth group of industries. The wind turbine blade installed at Kethanur, developed Root Rib failure after 1 year of service. In lieu of this, a team from FRP division carried out on-site repairs. The wind turbine blade is now installed and functioning well much to the satisfaction of the sponsors
Fabrication highlights of TDF antenna fairings (radomes) for the HIOMI TU- 142 aircraft for CABS (SANGRAHA program of Indian Navy)
This report briefly describes the fabrication procedure followed during the development of TDF Radomes for TU 142 Aircraft. Quartz fabric and C-14/K-68 grade epoxy class resin were used for the fabrication of these radomes
Quality monitoring of Mark-II doppler weather radar (DWR) radome panels
This report highlights the quality check carried out on the Radome panels. There are total number of 66 sandwich panels of both pentagonal & hexagonal type. The radome panels
were subjected to stringent dimensional checks at every stage to ensure the dimensions are within the tolerance limits. Further these panels were tested for Non Destructive type of testing using Mitsui Wood Pecker Model WP-632. The extent of bonding quality between foam and skin is determined by the uniformity of the instrument readings
