Analysis Students' Critical Thinking Skills in Solving Problems in Terms of Cognitive Style
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah yang ditinjau dari gaya kognitif. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam Penelitian Kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII MTSN 3 Rokan Hulu. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes GEFT (Group Embredded Figure Test) yang dikembangkan oleh Witkin dan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis berupa soal uraian. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, pemaparan data, analisis data pada kedua kelompok subjek dan penarikan kesimpulan. Analisis kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan indikator dari Ennis yaitu merumuskan strategi, memberikan alasan, dan menyimpulkan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan perbedaan gaya kognitif siswa mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan gaya kognitif field independent memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis lebih baik daripada siswa dengan gaya kognitif field dependent.

Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Pendekatan Strukutural Numbered Heads Together Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas Vii.2 SMP Negeri 5 Tambang
This researches was a classroom action research which aims to improve the performance of teacher and improving the student mathematic achievement. This researches implemented the cooperative learning by using structure approach of numbered head together (NHT) at class VII.2 SMPN 5 Tambang academic year 2015/2016. This learning used identification number of students in order to increase the responsibility of students during the learning process. The data in this study consisted of the activity data on learning process and the data of student mathematic achievement. The activity data were collected by using teacher observation sheet and student observation sheets while the data of student mathematic achievement were collected by using test. These data were analyzed descriptively. The data analyzed showed that activities of students and teacher is getting better. The teacher done reflection after learning to improve the previous weakness. The student mathematic achievement increased by observing the achievement of KKM. The percentage of students who achieved KKM on cycle 1 was 54.16% and 75.00% in cycle 2. There was improvement of student mathematics achievement because the percentage of student who achieved KKM before action was only 33.33%. It can be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning by using structure approach of numbered head together (NHT) can improve student mathematic achievement at class VII.2 SMPN 5 Tambang
Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Matematika Berbasis Ict pada Pokok Bahasan Lingkaran untuk Siswa Kelas VIII Smp/mts
The background of this study is the lack of ICT-based learning media especially on geometry in the topic of circle. The topic of circle has potency to be developed visually by using a computer device to facilitate students to understand this topic. This study used Borg and Gall's model that was modified by Sugiyono. The aim of this study is to develop valid and practical ICT-based media for learning mathematics to facilitate the 8th grade junior high school students to understand the topic of circle. The subjects were 35 students at 8th grade Junior High School 20 Pekanbaru. The instruments used were a questionnaire sheet for content validation, media validation and student responses. The questionnaires sheets were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The analyzed data and discussion showed that ICT-based media for learning mathematics is valid with an average score of 3.16 by content validator and 2.85 by media validator. This media is also qualified and practical with an average of student responses was 0.98 on a small group test and 0.93 in the big group
Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Komputer Model Tutorial Ineraktif Untuk Materi Pokok Lingkaran Kelas VIII SMP/ Mts
This research is a developmental research which aims to produce computer-based learning media interactive tutorial model on the subject circle for class VIII SMP/ MTs that is valid and practical. This developmental research used development model based on the teory of Borg and Gall. The stages are: (1) potential and problem; (2) literature collection; (3) product design; (4) product validation; (5) product revision; (6) product tested; (7) product revision; (8) product tested in large group; (9) product revision. In the first stages, the researcher analyzed potentials and problems. After that, the researcher collected the reference materials, then designed the product and put it into a computer. The learning media that had been developed was be evaluated by three validators based on the aspects of learning, display, program and curriculum, and revised according to the advice of the validator. Next, the learning media that had been revised was be tested in two stages: product testing in small groups with the subject of five students of class VIII SMP Juara Pekanbaru and product testing in large groups with the subject of 25 students class VIII SMP Juara Pekanbaru. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the computer-based learning media interactive tutorial model for the subject circle class VIII SMP / MTs assessed valid by experts with an average value of 3.59 and received a very good response from students of class VII
Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Matematika Berbasis Komputer Model Tutorial Ineraktif Untuk SMA Kelas XI Materi Peluang
This research aimed to develop mathematics with computer-based learning media model tutorial interactive model for SMA grade XI subject probability. This research and development use development model ADDIE. Development is done through the following steps: (1) analysis; (2) design; (3) development; (4) implementation and evaluation. At the stage of analysis, the researcher conducted a needs analysis included Core Competence (CC) - Basic Competence (BC) analysis, problems of students analysis, and materials analysis. Then, researcher collect materials to design learning media. Learning media that had been developed validated by five validators and revised based on the input from validators. Validation of media appraise aspects of curiculum, learning, display, program. The valid learning media then tested in two stages, the small group test with subjects are five students of class XI MIPA SMA Babussalam Pekanbaru and large group test with subjects are 30 students of class XI MIPA SMA Babussalam Pekanbaru. Based on the data analysis and discussion can be concluded that the mathematics learning media based computer tutorial interactive model for SMA grade XI subject probability are valid, and obtain good responses from students class XI
Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Teknik Kepala Bernomor untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa Kelas Ix7 SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru
This research based on the student's mathematics achievement in class IX7 of SMPN 8 Pekanbaru, there are 12 of 32 students who achieved the Minimum Mastery Criteria or 37,5% for similarity lesson. This research aims to improve the learning process and increase the student's mathematics achievement by applying the model of Cooperative Learning Numbered Head Techniques. The subject of this research were the students in class IX7 SMPN 8 Pekanbaru, there are 32 students with heterogeneous level of academic capabilities. This research is a class action research by two cycles. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and students mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative, while the student's mathematic tests were analyzed in quantitative. The qualitative descriptive showed that there is the improvement of learning process after the action on the first and second cycles. The result showed that there is an increase in student's achievement from the basic score with the percentage 37,5% to 56,25% on the first test and 78,1% on the second test. Based on the result of this research, can be concluded that the implementation of Cooperative Learning Numbered Head Techniques can improve the learning process and increase the student's mathematics achievement class IX7 of SMPN 8 Pekanbaru by the academic years 2014/2015
