    Research on the application of the Think Pair Share (TPS learning model has been done to improve students learning achievement in the topics of chemical bonding in class X MIA SMAN 2 Tambang. This research is experiment based on pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, which are X MIA 1 as experiment class and X MIA 2 as control clas that randomly selected after testing normality and homogeneity. Experiment class is a class that is treated by applying the Think Pair Share (TPS learning model. Analyzed of data used t-test. Results of the analysis it was found that tscore>ttable (2,235>1,67), it means the Think Pair Share (TPS learning model can improve students learning achievement on the chemical in class X MIA SMAN 2 Tambang with an increase of 6,7%

    This study is aimed to develop learning media by using PowToon on the subject of Hydrocarbon at SMA/MA. The result of this study is a product of learning media in the form of CD (compact disk) for Hydrocarbon subject which has contents as follows: the characteristic of carbon, alcana,alchene and alcuna, the application carbon in daily. This study used Research and Development (R&D) method with ADDIE model which has five stages of development; they are analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The development model was modified by the writer only until the development stage. The result of validation test showed that learning media on the subject of Hydrocarbon is valid with the result of validation by media experts and material experts 89,63%, so the developed learning media is properly used on the learning and teaching process. The result of the development has been limited test on 22 students and then 2 chemistry teacher in senior high school average score percentase obtained by 89,63

    Research on the application of the Structured Numbered Heads learning model was done to improve students learning achievement in the topics of the atomic structure and the periodic system of elements in class X MIA SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. This research was experiment based on pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, which are X MIA 4 as experiment class and X MIA 3 as control clas that randomly selected after testing normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was a class treated by applying the Structured Numbered Heads learning model. Analyzed of data used t-test. Results of the analysis it was found that tscore>ttable (3,58>1,67), it means the Structured Numbered Heads learning model can improve students learning achievement on the structure of atoms and the periodic system of elements in class X MIA SMAN 5 Pekanbaru with an increase of 14,14%

    This research aims to increase student achievementon the subject Atomic Structure and System of Periodic unsure inclass X SMA Negeri 2 Tambang. This research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted in SMA Negeri 2 Tambang. The samples of this research were the students of class X.5 as the experimental class and students of class X.6 as the control class.Experimental class is a class that is applied learning strategy The Firing Line, while the control class was not.     The objective of this research was to develop Learning Media Lectora Inspire 12 on the subject Chemical Elements class XII Science SMA/MA. Research method used is Research and Development with the ADDIE development model consistin of stages Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This research was to develop phase and be continue with a definite tryout. The product resulting from the research is an interactive learning media based on Lectora Inspire 12 on the topic of Chemical Element which is packaged in CD form. Data collect technique by validating Learning Media Lectora Inspire 12 to three people validator (1 media expert and 2 matter experts) and the trials of Learning Media Lectora Inspire 12 had done by users. Limited trial subjects are 20 students from class XII. Data analysis technique was used descriptive average analysis. The research results show score the designing aspects 4,54; pedagogic aspects 4,60; the content aspects 4,63; the ease of use aspects 4,47; pretest-posttest 0,66; and the learners response 4,64. Average score overall validation of Learning Media Lectora Inspire 12 on the chemical elements subject is 4,55 including very valid category and the average score overall response users is 4,64 including very good category and can be used on the chemical elements subject in class XII SMA/MA

    The research about application of bamboo dancing cooperative learning model aims to improve students learning achievement on the subject of hydrocarbon in class X SMAN 3 Pekanbaru. Form of research is experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, which are X8 as experiment class and X9 as control class that randomly selected after testing normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was given treatment with implementing bamboo dancing cooperative learning model while the control class wasnot given treatment bamboo dancing cooperative learning model. Analysis of data used t-test. Results of the analysis it was found that tscore > ttable (4,60 > 1,67), it means that the application bamboo dancing cooperative learning model can improve students achievement on the subject of hydrocarbon in class X SMAN 3 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of students learning achievement in experiment class was high category (N-gain =0,76) and in control class was medium category (N-gain =0,63)

    Abstrack : This research aimed to know the effectiveness of guided inquiry learning model in improving the student achievement in class XI IPA SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. This research was a quasi experiment with randomized group pretest-posttes design. The sample of this study was XI IPA 5 as experiment class and XI IPA 6 as control class after being tested for normality and homogeneity tests. Normality test was performed using Liliefors test. The results of the Liliefors normality test obtained for all the data (material prerequisites, pretest, and posttest) normal distribution where Lmaks ≤ Ltabel. The results of the homogeneity test, of Fhitung 1.67 with dk = n1 + n2 - 2 and α = 0.05) means that the application of guided inquiry learning model gave effect of 8.02% to the improvement of the student achievement

    Research on the application of cooperative learning model Time Token has been conducted to improve student learning achievement on the topic stoichiometry at class X SMAN 2 Siak Hulu. This research is experimental research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The sample took in the month February – maret 2013. The sample consisted of two class, X3 class as control class. Experimental class is the with cooperative learning model Time Token and Control Class is the class with cooperative learning model Time Token. Analyze of data by used t-test formula. Result of data processing obtained t count>t table is 2,07 > 1,67. It means that the application of cooperative learning model Time Token can improve student achievement on the topic redoks at class X SMAN 2 Siak Hulu with the increasing percentage of 6,299%
