    760-762Reactions of [(畏6-p-cymene)RuCl2]2, (a), [(畏6-p-cymene) Ru(EPh3)Cl2] {E = P (b) or As (c)} with 4,4使-bipyridine yielded bridged complexes of the type [(畏6-p-cymene)RuCl2-渭-4,4使-bipy-Cl2Ru(畏6-p-cymene)] (1) and [(畏6-p-cymene) Ru(EPh3)- 渭-4,4使-bipy -Cl(EPh3)Ru(畏6-p-cymene)] 聽{E=P, (2); As, (3)} respectively. Complex (b) with imidazole in the presence of NaBF4 in methanol gave compound of the type [(畏6-p-cymene) Ru(PPh3)(im)Cl] BF4 (4) (im = imidazole). These complexes have been characterized with various spectroscopic techniques

The compound is a convenient starting material for the synthesis of a variety of Rh(III) complexes, viz., [RhX2(acac)L2] (X = Cl or Br; L = PPh3, AsPh3 or py), [RhX2(acac)(L-L)] (X = CI or Br; L-L = bipy or phen) and M2[RhCI4(acac)] (M = NMe4 or Cs). These compounds have been characterised using analytical data, physico-chemical, spectroscopic and electrochemical techniques.</span

630-632A new five coordinate copper(II) complex, [Tp*CuL]ClO4 (Tp* = Hydrotris(3,5-dimethylpyrazolyl)borate and L = 1-methyl-carbaldimino-3,5-dimethylpyrazole) has been synthesised and characterized by IR, UV-Vis, EPR spectroscopies and cyclic voltammetry. The three nitrogen atoms of Tp* and two nitrogen atoms of L are coordinating with copper making a distorted square pyramidal geometry around the metal centre
