    PENERAPAN METODE KOOPERATIF TIPE BERCERITA BERPASANGAN DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MENULIS CERITA PENDEK : Penelitian Eksperimen Kuasi Terhadap Siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Parongpong Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017

    Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan yang dialami oleh siswa dalam pembelajaran menulis cerpen di kelas XI. Permasalahan tersebut meliputi kesulitan siswa dalam menentukan ide cerita, mengembangkan cerita, dan tidak tertariknya siswa terhadap menulis cerpen. Oleh karena itu, peneliti mengujicobakan metode kooperatif tipe bercerita berpasangan pada pembelajaran menulis cerpen di kelas XI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen kuasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Tahapan penelitian dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap, yaitu tes awal, memberikan perlakuan, dan memberikan tes akhir. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIA 1 dan XI MIA 2 SMAN 1 Parongpong tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Data yang digunakan untuk melihat tingkat keberhasilan teknik pembelajaran yang diujicobakan adalah cerpen karya siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai rata-rata kelas eskperimen meningkat setelah mendapatkan perlakuan dengan menggunakan metode kooperatif tipe bercerita berpasangan. Nilai rata-rata tes awal adalah 56, kemudian meningkat pada tes akhir menjadi 80. Artinya kemampuan menulis siswa kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatakan yang signifikan. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata pada kelas kontrol juga meningkat akan tetapi tidak signifikan. Nilai rata-rata tes awal adalah 52, kemudian meningkat pada tes akhir menjadi 64. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode kooperatif tipe bercerita berpasangan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajar menulis cerpen.---- This research is motivated by the problems experienced by students in learning to write short stories in XI grade. These problems include students difficulties in determining story ideas, developing stories, and not interested students in writing short stories. Therefore, the researcher tested the cooperative method of paired storytelling type in short story writing lessons in XI grade. This research used quasi-experiment method with quantitative approach. This research is conducted in several stages, first is preliminary test, giving treatment, and giving the final test. The subjects of this study were students of class XI MIA 1 and XI MIA 2 SMAN 1 Parongpong academic year 2016/2017. The data used to see the success rate of the teaching technique that was tested was the short story of the students work. The results showed that the average value of the experimental class increased after getting treatment by using cooperative method of paired storytelling type. The average score of the preliminary test was 56, then increased in the final test to 80. This means that the students ability to write short stories in the experimental class has increased significantly. While the average value in the control class is also increased but not significant. The average value of the preliminary test was 52, then increased in the final test to 64. Based on this it can be concluded that cooperative method of paired storytelling type effective in using short story writing

    THE APPLICATION OF THE COOPERATIVE STORY TYPE COOPERATIVE METHOD IN LEARNING WRITE SHORT STORIES

    One of the teaching materials that high school students learn is writing short story texts. In the learning process, there are problems experienced by students, including difficulties in finding ideas and developing stories. The formulation of the research problems: 1) how is the implementation of the cooperative method of storytelling in pairs on short story writing material? and 2) how is the pre-test and post-test scores for the experimental and control classes? This study shows the implementation of the cooperative method of storytelling in pairs is carried out in accordance with the Learning Implementation Plan. The research method is a quasi-experimental quantitative approach. The research stages were pre-test, giving treatment, and post-test. The results showed that the experimental class average score increased after using the cooperative method of telling pair stories. The pre-test average score was 56, increased in the post-test to 80, so the students' writing ability in the experimental class had a significant increase. Meanwhile, the mean value of the control class increased but not significantly. The pre-test average score was 52, increasing in post-test to 64. It can be concluded that the cooperative method of storytelling in pairs can be used in short story writing learners
