KEHANDALAN NEMATODA ENTOMOPATOGEN ISOLAT LOKAL SEBAGAI PENGENDALI HAMA (Heliothis armigera) DI DESA SUKORAMBI, JEMBER)
Until now, the control of Heliothis armigera depend on using of chemical element. Negatif effect
from using of synthetic chemical element is the appearance of secondary pest, the death of useful insect
and there is high pesticide residue in biotic also abiotic component in agroecosystem. The residue of
pesticide will disturb of human health and environment balance. Because of that, so be done developing
of control method with use biological agents which have pathogenicity to host. One of biological
agents is entomopathogenic nematodes. Entomopathogenic nematodes have wide host range are
Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, Diptera and Hymenoptera order, it hasn't negatif effect to environment. The
aim of the research are using mass production technology of entomopathogenic nematodes as a biological
control agents to pest (Heliothis armigera), get the optimal dose of Steinernema spp. (Local Isolate) for
pest control in the field, giving to farmer an alternative controle of Heliothis armigera which save to
environment, increasing corn product, make good quality ofliving people. The research do in laboratory
ofHPT UPN "Veteran" Jawa Timur and in the field. In Laboratory is done mass production ofNEP and
in the field is done effication test ofNEP to Heliothis armigera. The result of the research is get 300.000-
400.000 IJ/spon size 2 cm3
• The nematodes have maximal effect at 7 days after application; the effective
dose for pest control of Heliothis armigera in Jember is 12.500 IJ/plant (Infective Juvenile/plant).

UJI TOKSISITAS NEMATODA Steinernema sp. (ISOLAT TULUNGAGUNG) PADA HAMA TANAMAN SAWI (Brassica juncea) DI LABORATORIUM
Green Mustard cabbage is one of vegetable that is needed by Indonesian people.
Recently, production of green mustard cabbage (Brassica juncea) is decrease because of
the pest (Spodoptera litura). The control of Spodoptera litura depend on using of
chemical element. Negatif effect from using of synthetic chemical element is the
appearance of secondary pest, the death of useful insect and there is high pesticide
residue in biotic also abiotic component in agroecosystem. The residue of pesticide will
disturb of human health and environment balance.
The purpose of the research are using mass production technology of
entomopathogenic nematodes as a biological control agents to pest (Spodoptera litura),
get the optimal dose of Steinernema sp. Isolat Tulungagung for pest control in the field,
giving to farmer an alternative controle of Spodoptera litura which save to environment,
increasing corn product, make good quality of living people.
The research do in HPT laboratory, Agriculture Faculty of Jember University. In
Laboratory is done mass production of NEP and toxixity test of NEP to Spodoptera
litura.
The result of the research is knowing that the optimal concentration of
Steinernema sp. (Isolat Tulungagung) to control Spodoptera litura is determined by LC90
value = 129,24 Infective Juvenile/m
BIOPESTICIDE FORMULATION OF ENTHOMOPATHOGENIC NEMATODES LOCAL ISOLATE WITH IT’S TOXICITY TO SOYBEAN PEST (Spodoptera sp.)
The residue of pesticide will disturb of human health and environment balance. Negatif effect from
using of pesticide is the appearance of secondary pest, the death of useful insect and there is high
pesticide residue in biotic also abiotic component in agroecosystem. Because of that, so be done
developing of control method with use biological agents which have pathogenicity to host. One of
biological agents is entomopathogenic nematodes. The aim of the research is making formulation of
entomopathogenic nematodes Local Isolate and knowing presistention of entomopathogenic nematodes
from that formulation. The research do in laboratory of HPT UPN ”Veteran” East Java. The result of the
research is the sponge medium in plastic have the highest presistention rate until 80.01% than Kaolin and
Alginate medium (at 75 days after fprmulation). Conclussion, the sponge in plastic is the best medium for
the nematodes formulation than Kaolin and Alginate mediu
KAJIAN PEMANFAATAN PUPUK CAIR MULTINUTRIEN DARI BUANGAN INDUSTRI GARAM PADA TANAMAN SEMUSIM
From the results of the research on Liquid Multinutrient Fertilizer Production Process from Waste Industry of Salt With Elektrodialisis Membrane Technology, Liquid Fertilizers obtained quality produced Multinutrien yield : 3.6466% Potassium; Manganese = 0.0001%; Iron = 0.0004%; sulfate = 5.7458% and magnesium = 79.6047%. To determine the optimal dose to produce the maximum product, it is necessary to evaluate on plants. Test plants used are chilli, eggplant and mustard.
This research aims to produce liquid fertilizer products with a high content multinutrien, technology, liquid fertilizer production process and product testing at multinutrien fertilizer seasonal crops. This research uses Randomize Complete Design, with 5 treatments and 3 replications. The research results indicate that the dose of 10 cc / plant is the best dose for plant growth, especially chilli, eggplant and mustard. This is supported by the average growth of plants more quickly and high (123 cm chilli, eggplant, mustard 127 cm and 35 cm), and the weight of the average production per plant was also the highest (1130 gram chilli, eggplant 1230 grams and mustard 572 grams)

APLIKASI TEKNOLOGI PRODUKSI MASSAL NEMATODA ENTOMOPATOGEN SEBAGAI BIOPESTISIDA HAMA WERENG PADA KELOMPOK TANI PADI DI KECAMATAN REMBANG, KABUPATEN PASURUAN
Penyebab utama penurunan produksi padi di wilayah kecamatan Rembang akibat adanya serangan virus
Tungro yang dibawa oleh Wereng Hijau (Nephotettix sp.). Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya penurunan produksi
padi yang sampai saat ini masih mencapai 40%, walaupun upaya pengendalian gencar dilakukan oleh para petani di
kecamatan Rembang. Nematoda entomopatogen merupakan salah satu alternatif untuk mengendalikan wereng tanpa
menimbulkan dampak negatif pada lingkungan.
Tujuan pengabdian adalah agar petani mengenal nematoda dan dapat memproduksi biopestisida nematoda
entomopatogen secara mandiri. Model transformasi Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi kepada petani dilakukan
melalui metode penyuluhan dan pelatihan, pendampingan serta aplikasi di lapangan
Hasil baiting menunjukkan bahwa gejala serangan nematoda yang tampak pada permukaan tubuh larva
Tenebrio molitor berwarna coklat karamel. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa nematoda yang menyerang larva tersebut
adalah jenis Steinernema spp. Hasil aplikasi biopestisida di lapangan diketahui bahwa pada areal pertanaman padi yang
tidak diaplikasi biopestisida, diketemukan rata-rata 2 ekor wereng pada setiap meter persegi. Gejala yang tampak adalah
tanaman padi menjadi kerdil dan daunnya berwarna kuning. Sedang pada pertanaman padi yang diaplikasi biopestisida, tidak
diketemukan wereng, tanaman tampak subur menghijau karena telah bebas hama wereng pembawa virus tungro

Entomopatogenic Nematodes is the biological insecticides can be used to control Lepidoptera, Coleopteraand Diptera order.The nematodes can be isolated from soil of several locations in East Java. The aim of theresearch is to know the genera of entomopathogenic nematodes and population density of that nematodes from each location in East Java. The methods of the research are nematodes isolation with baiting methods, identification and count of nematodes population density. The result of the research showed that the entomopathogenic nematodes Isolate was found from Jember, Malang, Mojokerto, Sidoarjo. The genera of all nematodes Isolate is Steinernema sp.
