Mots clés: Radiogrraphie, chien, chatEnglish Title: Interpretation guide for x-rays in dog and catsEnglish AbstractThe present study is a study that aims to provide an interpretation guide to facilitate the understanding and interpretation of X-ray images in domestic carnivores (dogs and cats). It took place throughout July 2016. X-rays of thorax, abdomen, and bone structures (elbow and hip joint) were performed on domestic carnivores (dogs and cats). After anatomic recall, the chest, abdomen, contrast-free, and skeletal X-rays are presented. Each x-ray is accompanied by a description of the technique for obtaining the radiograph, the normal radiographic anatomy. Keywords: Radiography, dog, ca
Reference level diagnosis in radiology in the EISMV of Dakar: Preliminary studyIntroduction: The present study is a preliminary study, which concerns the implementation of a reference level diagnosis in radiology in the EISMV of Dakar.Methodology: She took place throughout July 2016. Radiographies of thorax, belly, and osseous structures (elbow and coxo-femoral joint) were made on domestic carnivores (dog and cat). Results: He stands out then from this work which certain radiographic constants allowed to obtain the "ideal" radiographic image. It is a question in particular of (80 kv; 4 mases) and (60 kv; 4 mases) at the level of the thorax respectively to the dog (15 cm thickness) and the cat (10 cm thickness), of (55 kv; 10 mases) and (45 kv; 10 mases) at the level of the belly respectively to the dog (15 cm thickness) and the cat (thickness of 10 cms), of (50 kv; 10 mases) at the level of the elbow to the dog ( 11 cm thickness) and the cat(chat) ( 5 cm thickness), and, of (55 kv; 15 mases) and (50 kv; 15 mases) at thelevel of the coxo-femoral joint(articulation) respectively at the level of the dog (15 cm thickness) and of the cat(chat) (10 cm thickness). Conclusion: Recommendations were made on the basis of the results (profits) obtained to standardize the regulations of the radiographic device, strengthen the protection against the fatal effects of the irradiant beams (shelves), and assure (insure) a regularity of the practice of the students. Keywords: reference diagnosis, radiology, EISMV, Dakar.
English title: Development of a method of realizing an ovine scarf at the museum of anatomy of the interstate school of Veterinary Sciences and Medicine of Dakar
The purpose of this study is to establish a method for the realization of flayed skin at the Anatomy department of the Inter-State School of Veterinary Sciences and Medicine of Dakar. It was performed at the dissection room of the Anatomy department on a 35 kg sheep. It appears from this work that formalin and acetone skinning are necessary and that formalin must be injected through the arterial system and acetone is used to bury the carcass. The carcass must be chilled for 2 weeks and the drying lasts 3 weeks in the shade. This work will make it possible to skinned other domestic animals more easily with a standardized method
