Further extension of the generalized Hurwitz-Lerch Zeta function of two variables
The main aim of this paper is to give a new generalization of Hurwitz-Lerch
Zeta function of two variables. Also, we investigate several interesting
properties such as integral representations, summation formula and a connection
with generalized hypergeometric function. To strengthen the main results we
also consider many important special cases.Comment: 7 page
Intangible economy : How can investors deliver change in businesses? Lessons from nonprofit-business partnerships
Investors traditionally prioritised tangible outcomes (money, land, machinery) in order to protect their financial assets. However, the intangible economy (trust, human resources, information, reputation) that co-exists draws attention to new expectations that request the continuous, active and within the public sphere involvement of investors in order to protect their assets by prioritising intangible resources.
The paper argues that investors in intangible outcomes who aim to achieve change in corporations share the same limitations within the financial and non-financial field. The case of Nonprofit-Business Partnerships is employed in order to demonstrate how change can be achieved. The role of investors is crucial in facilitating the shift from the tangible to the intangible economy. Investment in the intangible economy is a mechanism of co-determining the priority of responsibilities in the context of corporate social responsibility
Fertiliser, Plant Nutrient Management, and Self-reliance in Agriculture
The importance of agriculture in the economy of Pakistan is well established. Agricultural plays an important role both directly and indirectly in generating economic activity, growth and development. Agriculture has strong backward and forward linkages and is vital to the food security of the country. Fertilisers have played an important role in Pakistan agriculture particularly in meeting the growing demand for food grains, fibre, fuel and fodder. Fertiliser consumption has increased during the last four decades to 2.6 million tonnes by 1997-98. The use level is, however, not only sub optimal but also imbalanced. Better plant nutrient management is, therefore, necessary for achieving self reliance in agriculture.
