Acupuncture in the treatment of pain
Pain is a feeling that can be felt in many areas in the body (back, pelvis, chest, abdomen) and is triggered by
the nervous system. Pain is most common symptom in conditions of the musculoskeletal system, but also can
accompany other conditions like hormonal imbalance, autoimmune, neurological diseases etc. The Traditional
Chinese Medicine (TCM) recommends more intensive treatment for pain with acupuncture and herbal
medicine, so the blocked Qi can be released and the normal body function can be stimulated. In our study we
have done a survey on our patients with questionnaire of 13 questions in our clinic. In the survey participated
41 patients, 6 male and 35 female, of different age groups, with different conditions and with main symptom ofpain. All patients have done acupuncture treatment in our clinic in the past year with certain number of
treatments. In 63.41% or 26 patients, the overall health condition was improved totally, in 31.71% or 13
patients the condition is partially better and only 4.88% or 2 patients did not have any improvement

Shoulder Bursitis Treatment with Acupuncture
Bursa is fluid-filled sac filled with a
small amount of liquid called synovial. Bursa is
located in many places in the body mostly between
bones and the tendons and muscles near joints. The
bursa reduces friction and eases the movement
between the bones, tendons and other tissues. The
biggest bursas are located between tendons and
bone, usually over the large joints such as shoulder,
elbow, hips and knees. Bursitis is inflammation of a
bursa and itcan be caused by various factors such
as: trauma (repetitive movements), infection,
deposition of microcrystals. Acupuncture as part of
the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), is very
often used in the treatment of bursitis. In the
research are included 30 patients, 18 male and 12
female, on age from 18 to 71, treated with
acupuncture for shoulder bursitis. Acupuncture
treatments were made in a clinic for TCM and
acupuncture, on room temperature, with normal
and fire needles, on certain trigger points - Ashi.
Most of the patients needed only 1-2 treatments,
expect for some patients who needed 3-4 treatments.
The treatment with fire needle showed better and
faster results in the treatment of shoulder bursitis
Two Case Reports: Acupuncture Treatment for Trigeminal Neuralgia
The trigeminal nerve is the 5th cranial nerve and it carries sensation from the face to the brain. Trigeminal neuralgia is a chronic pain disorder that affects the trigeminal nerve and produces intense facial pain along one or more of the three branches of this nerve. Pain may be triggered by eating, brushing of the teeth, touching trigger points on the face during everyday activities such as washing the face or applying make-up or even air drafts, which increase the discomfort of those suffering from this disorder. For trigeminal neuralgia the Western Medicine suggests treatment with medications, surgery and stereotactic radiation therapy. According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), trigeminal neuralgia usually occurs when there is blockage in the stomach meridian and the main treatment for trigeminal neuralgia is acupuncture. In this article are shown two patients, males, both 66 years old, diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia. Acupuncture treatments were made in our clinic for TCM and acupuncture with fire needle on a trigger i.e. Ashi points. One of the patients needed only one treatment, the other needed six treatments
Acupuncture treatment for pain after tooth extraction
Acupuncture has limited application in dentistry, but it can relief dental symptoms very quickly. The
acupuncture plays important role in the dental science, because it can be effective in treating many dental
conditions like facial pain, TMJ dysfunction, dry mouth problems, post-operative pain, dental anxiety and etc.
Acupuncture is also used for treating pain aftrer tooth extraction. There are various causes of toothache.
According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), toothache is caused by a stagnation of energy in the body.
In this article are shown three patients, two males, both 66 years old and one 30 years old female, with dental
pain after molar extraction. Acupuncture treatments were made in clinic for TCM and acupuncture in Skopje,
Macedonia. The patients needed no more than 5 treatments to achieve the positive results and relieve the pain
Acupuncture Treatment For Shoulder Bursitis
Inflammation of the mucous bags or
bursitis is very common clinical picture. In the
human body there are about 160 bursas. Shoulder
bursitis is inflammation of the shoulder bursa.
Bursas can be superficial and deep. Deep bursas
are present at birth, while surface bursas develop
for several months to years after birth, in places
where there is friction. Traditional Chinese
Medicine (TCM) suggests that bursitis can be
treated with Chinese herbs, acupuncture or a
combination of bot
