THE STUDY OF THE PROCESS OF IRON HYDROXIDE COAGULATION AND SEDIMENTATION
Formation of radionuclides pseudocolloids with iron hydroxide is determined by own behavior of iron hydroxide. We studied the effect of pH of the solution andiron concentration on the processes of iron (III) hydroxide coagulation and sedimentation from fresh water. Based on the methods and analyzes used, size distribution of iron hydroxide particles for various concentrations and pH valueswas obtained
DESIGN OF AN INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR MONITORING AND ANALYZING THE RADIATION SITUATION AT THE PHRO OF THE SVERDLOVSK BRANCH OF THE UTO BRANCH OF THE FED
A comparison of the available software and justification of the choice of structure and software for the rapid assessment of the radiation situation at PRO of the Sverdlovsk branch of the branch "Urals territorial district" of the FSUE RosRAO based on the analysis of mon-itoring results
THE ANALYSIS OF ISOTHERMS OF RADIONUCLIDES SORPTION BY INORGANIC SORBENTS
The analysis of various sorption isotherms was performed. The algorithms of data treatment have been described by means of various models of sorption. The achievement of sorption equilibrium is necessary for the correct determination of the parameters. The isotherm must be obtained in more details
ANALYSIS OF THE FACTORS INFLUENCING THE PROCESSES OF VERTICAL MIGRATION OF 137Cs AND 90Sr IN SOILS
It was found that the radionuclides falling on the surface of the soil moving deeper into the soil eventually. In this paper factors that affect vertical migration processes 137Cs and 90Sr are identified according to normative methods, and also the behavior of radionuclides in soils in dynamic and static conditions are studied
The Stage of Separation of Strontium-90 and Yttrium-90 in the Method of Express Determination of Strontium-90 in Aqueous Samples
The method of express determination of strontium-90 in water samples is proposed. The efficiency of the separation stage of strontium-90 and yttrium-90 radionuclides was evaluated.Исследование выполнено при финансовой поддержке РФФИ и Правительства Свердловской области в рамках проекта № 20-43-660055
THE STUDY OF MODIFICATION EFFECT ON SORPTION CHARACTERISTICS OF GRANULAR GLAUCONITE WITH RESPECT TO CESIUM RADIONUCLIDES
The comparative study of sorption features of granular glauconite with respect to cesium radionuclides was performed in this work. The glauconite was granulated using water as a binder and then surface-modified by potassium ferrocyanide. As a result of experiments, sorption features of sorbents based on granular glauconite were determined; the improving of sorption features (distribution coefficient and rate constant) as a result of modifying was shown
STUDY OF SORPTION OF STRONTIUM-90 WITH GRANULAR NATURAL ALUMOSILICATE
Perspective of application of natural alumosilicate ‒ glauconite granulated with binder - tap water as sorbent for extraction of strontium radionuclide from natural waters during reha-bilitation of radiation contaminated areas is shown
THE ANALYSIS OF PROCESSES OF STRONTIUM AND THORIUM RADIONUCLIDES COPRECIPITATION WITH IRON AND ZIRCONIUM HYDROXIDES
In this work, the results of the research of thorium coprecipitation of with iron hydroxide and strontium coprecipitation with iron and zirconium hydroxides are presented. Influence of the major factors on coprecipitation is investigated, speciation of the components is calculated, solubility curves, dependences of extraction degree on рН and concentration of the solution are constructed. Based on the received results, possible mechanisms are defined and conditions of thorium and strontium coprecipitation are analyzed
STUDY OF THE INFLUENCE OF MODIFICATION ON THE SORPTION PROPERTIES OF GRANULATED GLAUCONITE
The sorption properties of granular glauconite and the modified sorbent - mixed nickelpotassium ferrocyanide based on granulate, were compared with respect to cesium radionuclides. It was shown that modification increases the sorbent specificity by a factor of 103 in the range of initial cesium concentrations to 10-4 g/l and leads to a significant increase of the observed rate constant of the process at the initial section of the kinetic curve. This will increase the resource of purification devices, when using a new sorbent as their loading
DECONTAMINATION OF DRINKING WATER FROM RADIONUCLIDES USING HOUSEHOLD FILTERS AND FILTERS BASED ON GRANULATED GLAUCONITE
It is established, that the individual household filters can be recommended for purification of drinking water containing radionuclides. Use of granulated glauconite as a sorption filler will significantly increase the resource and improve the decontamination of water with a high level of pollution from radionuclides, saving the quality of drinking water with respect to other indicators
