Apresenta da Biblioteca Comunitária de Emaús pertencente à Associação Dom Nivaldo Monte, localizada em Parnamirim, Rio Grande do Norte, como centro de incentivo à leitura e cultura. Objetiva mostrar o envolvimento da comunidade com a mesma e ressaltar a necessidade de bibliotecários como agentes voluntários com objetivos de auxiliar na organização da biblioteca e nortear a disseminação cultural e informacional. Conclui-se que a ausência política, manuais e instruções formais resultam em um descontrole informacional, podendo prejudicar o processo de gerenciamento da Unidade como um todo

Mostra a representação do bibliotecário em filmes, séries de TV e seriados, desenhos animados e histórias em quadrinhos, expondo os estereótipos e sua desconstrução em produções mais recentes. Reflete sobre como o bibliotecário é visto pelos estudantes universitários; analisa, por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica e questionário on-line aplicados em grupos de universitários no Facebook, e mostra como os personagens bibliotecários são vistos pelos universitários. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi mostrar a imagem do bibliotecário nas obras de ficção e mostrar como a geração atual vê a imagem do bibliotecário estereotipado e suas mudanças na atual indústria do entretenimento. Há uma ruptura de muitos estereótipos do bibliotecário, no entanto, ainda há muitos estudantes universitários que apenas carregam uma noção básica sobre o que o bibliotecário faz, mas eles também têm a noção de como os bibliotecários são desvalorizados. Mas ainda, é possível vislumbrar o aprimoramento da imagem do bibliotecário em obras ficcionais.SimPresents the librarian's image on the society's minds. Shows the representation of the librarian on movies, TV series and sitcoms, cartoons and comics, exposing the stereotypes and their undoing in more recent productions. Bethink on how the librarian is seen by college undergraduate students; analyses, by bibliographical research and online questionnaire applied on college undergraduate student's Facebook groups, and shows how the librarian characters are seen by the college undergraduate students. The objective of this research was to show the librarian's image on fiction works and to show how the current generation sees the stereotypical librarian's image, and its changes on the current entertainment industry. There's a rapture of many librarian stereotypes, however, there are yet many college undergraduate students that only carry a basic notion on what the librarian does, but they also carry and have the notion on how librarians are undervalued. Yet, there is a betterment of the librarian's image on fictional works

Usability analysis on events websites of Library Science and Documentation

A busca de informações está cada vez mais presente, a sociedade busca estar conectada a cada momento para se manter atualizada no contexto informacional desenvolvido ao seu redor. Portanto, a importância da discussão sobre a qualidade das informações torna-se necessária para desenvolver melhorias focadas na experiência, facilitando a interação entre o usuário e o sistema. A pesquisa está fundamentada no objetivo de analisar, por meio da usabilidade dos websites de eventos que ocorreram entre 2017 e 2018, buscando sua importância para a comunidade acadêmica e a comunidade profissional. Por isso, os objetivos específicos focaram em expor a importância da usabilidade em ambientes digitais, analisando os websites dos eventos, mostrando possíveis melhorias com base nos resultados obtidos e contribuindo para futuras pesquisas. A metodologia possui um caráter bibliográfico, onde materiais foram buscados com o intuito de ajudar a compreender os temas, e também, a técnica de observação onde um checklist desenvolvido por Nielsen e Tahir (2002) foi utilizado para analisar os quatro eventos que aconteceram em 2017 e 2018 sendo eles: CBBD, SNBU, EREBD e ENEU. Conclui-se que esses sites possuem problemas em seus conteúdos, apresentação, formatação, divulgação e também mostra uma chance de melhoria em suas atribuições. The research isgrounded on its objective to analyse through the usability of events websites that happened between 2017 and 2018 seeking their importance to the academic community and the professional community. The methodology has a bibliographical nature, where materials were sought and gathered intenting to help comprenheding the themes, and also, the observational technique where a checklist developed by Nielsen and Tahir (2002) was used to analyse the four academic seminars that happened on 2017 and 2018: CBBD, SNBU, EREBD and ENEU. The conclusion is that those websites have problems on their contents, presentation, formatting, disclosing, and also a chance of betterment on their attributions.
