Effect of minimum wages on labor, welfare and economic growth: Evidence from East Java province

Wage issues are still a major concern, especially in Indonesia. The fact that wages constitute the most significant part of a person's income makes it an important indicator that reflects the level of welfare of a country. The minimum wage policy also serves as a protective tool for companies to maintain labor productivity. This research analyze the relationship between minimum wages and the number of labor, welfare, and economic growth in East Java. East Java has a significant role in the number of labor, prosperity, and economic growth, making a major contribution to the national economy with a substantial workforce. This research uses a quantitative approach. The data analysis technique uses canonical correlation statistical techniques. The data used taken from the annual reports of each city/district for 2018-2022, totaling 38 regions. The number of labor, welfare, and economic growth can be predicted through the city/district minimum wage. Meanwhile, individually, the minimum wage has the relationship with the number of labor because wages are the primary motivation of workers. In addition, the minimum wage is related to the welfare of workers in East Java, and the minimum wage is related to economic growth

Inovasi Produk Olahan Kopi Sebagai Produk Unggulan Desa Guna Mendukung Program Desa Sejahtera Mandiri

Kemajuan dan kemakmuran desa ditentukan oleh usaha penduduk desa selain tata geografinya. Desa yang memiliki banyak sumber daya alam tetapi penduduknya tidak cukup mempunyai keterampilan, Desa Jambangan merupakan salah satu desa yang terletak di wilayah Kecamatan Dampit, Kabupaten Malang. Dampit terkenal sebagai salah satu penghasil kopi di wilayah Malang selatan. Mayoritas petani desa Jambangan juga belum memiliki keterampilan, pengetahuan, dan semangat yang tinggi untuk mengembangkan usahanya. Sumber informasi yang digunakan selama proses pengabdian diperoleh dari para pelaku (actors)/informan. Teknik yang digunakan dalam memilih informan sampling adalah dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengolahan data dilakukan selama dan setelah pengumpulan data, baik itu data di lapangan (data primer) maupun data sekunder. Data-data yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian ditabulasi secara sederhana. Setelah ditabulasi maka data-data tersebut dianalisis sesuai dengan metode analisis data yang sesuai. Berbagai macam kopi tertanam di desa Jambangan terhitung ada 20 macam kopi ditanam ditanah desa Jambangan dan yang paling terkenal adalah kopi lanang yang rasanya lebih keras dari kopi yang lain. Ada beberapa organisasi yang mewadahi para petani di desa Jambangan yaitu Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDES) dan kelompok tani, dua wadah tersebut merupakan bentuk paguyuban yang ada di desa Jambangan dimana difungsikan sebagai wadah petani kopi untuk memberikan keluhan dan masukan demi kemajuan petani kopi. Di Desa Jambangan belum semua masyarakat dapat memanfaatkan teknologi dengan baik. Dengan masalah ini desa harus memberi pelatihan tentang teknologi yang sudah modern. Sehingga masyarakat Desa Jambangan mampu memanfaatkan teknologi dengan sebaik mungkin

OPTIMALISASI PENDIDIKAN ANAK DESA SUMBERPITU SEBAGAI UPAYA PENYIAPAN SUMBER DAYA MANUSIA UNGGUL

This service aims to increase the human resource in Sumberpitu Village, Pasuruan Regency. As the basic capital for implementing development in Sumberpitu Village, human resources are absolutely necessary to support the achievement of a well-planned village development program. As the main actor in the implementation of development in the village, of course the participation and carrying capacity of human resources is the most important part of the success of the implementation of development. The methods implemented in this activity are methods: counseling, socialization, training, and coaching to the community, especially for school-age children. The results of this service indicate that the materials provided support the activities of increasing the workforce and the materials provided by the service team are delivered and well received by the participants

Determinants of Islamic Bank Employee Performance through Job Satisfaction

The Indonesian banking world is experiencing very rapid development, more and more new banks are popping up such as Islamic banks, so that business in the banking world is increasingly competitive. The research objective was to determine the effect of religious culture, and Islamic leadership on employee performance through job satisfaction. This research is causal associative research and examines the effect of intervening variables using path analysis. The research was conducted in 2022, from a saturated sample, a sample of 80 respondents was obtained. The results of this study are that religious culture and Islamic leadership partially have a significant effect on employee performance. Religious culture has no significant effect on job satisfaction. Islamic leadership has a significant effect on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance. Religious culture has a significant influence on employee performance through job satisfaction. Islamic leadership has a significant influence on employee performance through job satisfaction. In the Sobel test, job satisfaction cannot mediate the relationship between religious culture and employee performance. Job satisfaction can mediate the relationship between Islamic leadership and employee performance. The implications of this research are that employees at Bank Syariah Indonesia feel high job satisfaction and have an understanding that working well for a living is worship. Leaders need to improve employee performance by implementing a culture of religiosity and increasing solidarity among employees to achieve optimal job satisfaction

Pengaruh Kualitas Pelayanan, Kualitas Produk, Dan Bauran Promosi Terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Konsumen Di Waroeng OM Kota Malang

Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of service quality, product quality and promotion mix on purchasing decisions for Waroeng Om products, Malang City. The location of this research was carried out on the community and students in Malang City who became consumers of Waroeng Om Malang City. This research is a quantitative research. This research uses a case study method where data is obtained by distributing questionnaires to the public and students in Malang City who were selected by purposive sampling. Determination of the number of samples using the Maholtra formula and the results obtained were 85 respondents. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and determination tests. Based on the results of data analysis, the results of the F test indicate that the quality of service, product quality and promotion mix simultaneously have a significant and positive effect on purchasing decisions and have an effect on purchasing decisions for Waroeng Om products, Malang City. Furthermore, the results of the t-test indicate that service quality, product quality and promotion mix partially have a significant and positive effect on purchasing decisions for Waroeng Om products, Malang City. The results of the determination test show that the percentage is 60.5%, which purchasing decisions can be influenced by service quality, product quality and promotion mix. Pengaruh Electronic Money (E-Money), Electronic Banking (E-Banking), dan Brachless Banking Terhadap Profitabilitas Perbankan Periode 2016-2019

AbstractThis study aims to examine how the influence of Electronic Money, Electronic Banking, and Brachless Banking on Banking Profitability for the 2016-2019 period. The population in this study is banking companies listed for the 2016-2019 periode on the Stock Exchange totaling 43 banking companies. Determination of the sample in this study using purposive sampling method using certain criteria, in order to obtain 9 banking companies that meet the criteria an be sampled in this research. The data in this study are secondary data while the data collection method is using annual report documentation, namely by studying reviewing published on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. Data analysis techniques used in this study are the normality test, the classic assumption test consisting of multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and autocorrelation test, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing. The results conclude that simulaniously electronic money, electronic banking, and brachless banking tohgether have a significant effect on profitability. While partially electronic money variable has a negative and insignificant effect on profitability. Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work discipline and work supervision on employee work effectiveness. The sample in this study was 60 respondents with a population of 60 employees who were in the Back Office of Jawa Timur park 1. In this study, direct random sampling method was used as the sampling method. The questionnaires distributed and then analyzed provided the primary data for this study. ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine how the influence of return on equity (ROE), net profit margin (NPM) debt to equity ratio (DER) on stock prices listed in the Jakarta Islamic Index listed on the IDX. This study uses profitability ratios with return on equity (ROE), net profit margin (NPM) variables and uses solvency ratios with debt to equity ratio (DER) variables as variables that show financial performance Based on predetermined sample criteria, the number of samples from companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic index, there are 11 companies that meet the criteria listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). In determining this sample researchers used a purposive sampling method. which is to determine samples with certain criteria. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis, classic assumption test and Multiple Linear Regression namely with data of research in the form of panel data. The results of this study indicate that partially the Return On Equity (ROE) and Net Profit Margin (NPM) variables have a significant effect on the stock price of company, the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) variable has no effect on the stock price. AbstractThis study aims to determine and analyze the effect of segmenting, targeting and positioning on the level of sale of land plots either simultaneously or partially. The method used in this research is multiple linear regression method. The research sample was 70 companies which were taken with saturated sample method. In this study using quantitative research. This type of research is explanatory research (explanatory research).The results of this study indicate that segmenting, targeting and positioning simultaneously have a significant effect on sales levels. Pengaruh Suasana Café, Kualitas Pelayanan Dan Keanekaragaman Produk Terhadap Loyalitas Konsumen Di Om Ayam Sambal Ijo

Abstract Based on research conducted with the aim of analyzing the effect of Café Atmosphere, Service Quality, Product Diversity on Consumer Loyalty at Om Ayam Sambal Ijo. The sample in this study were 88 customers of Om Ayam Sambal Ijo. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling where every customer who has made a repeat purchase has the opportunity to be a sample. The analytical method used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis with hypothesis testing using F test and t test.
