Analiza kvarova uređaja i opreme korištenjem metoda poslovnog izvješćivanja
U analizi podataka i njihovoj optimalnoj iskoristivosti u tvrtci Održavanje vagona d.o.o. (u vlasništvu Hrvatskih željeznica), potrebno je primjenjivati suvremene metode dubinskih analiza koje su sastavni dio poslovnog izvješćivanja. U radu je dat pregled primjena metoda poslovnog izvješćivanja u iskoristivosti informacija i podataka bitnih za daljnje analize. Prikupljeni su podaci o kvarovima na svim serijama klimatiziranih modernih putničkih vagona u razdoblju od 1.1.2005. godine do 1.1.2007. godine, te je napravljena njihova obrada i analiza raznim metodama. Na temelju dobivenih rezultata analize, definirani su najznačajniji uzročnici kvarova na klimatiziranim vagonima. Potom su uspoređivani rezultati pojedinih metoda i odabrana je optimalna metoda
Prilog istraživanju uzroka proširenja osovinskih sklopova vagona u održavanju
Željeznički kotač je zajedno s osovinom jedan od kritičnih dijelova koji su neophodni sigurnom pogonu teretnih vagona. U eksploataciji su kotači teretnih vagona izloženi velikim toplinskim zagrijavanjima koja su uzrok naprezanjima i mogućem mehaničkom lomu te geometrijskim trošenjima uslijed kočenja, posebno kad se ono izvodi izravno preko kočnih papuča. Ovaj rad daje prikaz rezultata istraživanja uzroka proširenja osovinskih sklopova vagona Hrvatskih željeznica. Rezultati pokazuju da proširenja razmaka kotača izvan dopuštenih granica ovise jednim dijelom o zaostalim vlačnim naprezanjima u samim kotačima te o promjeru kotača. Kao optimalna statistička metoda povezanosti ovih pojava pokazala se multiregresijska analiza. Analizirajući kvarove zbog proširenja kotača po serijama vagona, izdvojene su serije s najvećom frekvencijom kvarova, čiji je glavni uzročnik proizvođač kočne opreme A
A New Methodology for the Temperature Testing of Thermostatic Chambers Used in the Food-Meat Industry
This paper aims to develop a new testing methodology to evaluate the measurement uncertainty of temperature field of thermostatic chambers used in the food-meat industry. The proposed methodology qualitatively evaluates the following parameters of a chamber\u27s working space: mass of a product in a batch, thermal processing temperature, temperature in the geometric centre of product after shower cooling, duration of thermal processing, spatial temperature gradients and stability, heating and cooling dynamics between two temperature working points and temperature measurement uncertainty. As many different practical technical issues arose, by using the Response Surface Method, we analysed the impact of input test parameters to predict the unknown values of predefined output parameters based on known values of influential input parameters, and to actually rank each resulting impact of each input test parameter
A contribution to research on the cause of axle assembly expansions of exploited freight wagons
Željeznički kotač je zajedno s osovinom jedan od kritičnih dijelova koji su neophodni sigurnom pogonu teretnih vagona. U eksploataciji su kotači teretnih vagona izloženi velikim toplinskim zagrijavanjima koja su uzrok naprezanjima i mogućem mehaničkom lomu te geometrijskim trošenjima uslijed kočenja, posebno kad se ono izvodi izravno preko kočnih papuča. Ovaj rad daje prikaz rezultata istraživanja uzroka proširenja osovinskih sklopova vagona Hrvatskih željeznica. Rezultati pokazuju da proširenja razmaka kotača izvan dopuštenih granica ovise jednim dijelom o zaostalim vlačnim naprezanjima u samim kotačima te o promjeru kotača. In exploitation the wheels of freight cars are exposed to high heat warmings causing stresses and possible mechanical failures due to wear and geometric distance, especially when it runs directly over the break shoes. This paper gives an overview of the research on the cause of axle assembly expansions of Croatian Railways’ freight wagons. The results of the research show that the widening of the wheel distance outside the tolerant limits depends on the residual stresses within the wheels themselves, and on the diameter of the wheels. Multiple regression analysis has shown to be the optimal statistical method for linking these phenomena. By analysing malfunctions concerning wheel expansions on train wagon series, a series with most frequent malfunctions has been singled out, while the main cause of these malfunctions is the manufacturer of wheel equipment A

The paper provides an overview of the applied business intelligence methods with regard to the utilization of the information and data necessary for further analyses. Covering the period from 1 January 2005 to 1 January 2007, data on defects in all model ranges of the air-conditioned modern passenger carriages were collected, processed and analyzed by applying different methods. Based on the results of the analysis, the most important causes of defects in the air-conditioned carriages were identified. After that, the results of the individual methods were compared and the optimal method was chosen

Current State Analysis of Croatian Manufacturing Industry with Regard to Industry 4.0/5.0
It has been more than a decade since the introduction of the Industry 4.0 paradigm. Since then, many issues have been raised in the world: the COVID-19 pandemic, sustainable development goals, and recent dramatic changes in global politics. The global value chains were broken during the pandemic, and the importance of humans as the most important element of the production system was highlighted. It caused rethinking about current industrial paradigms, including the brand new paradigm of Industry 4.0. More focus has been put on human workers, sustainability, and the resilience of the value chain, so the Industry 4.0 update was presented as Industry 5.0. A specific methodology to evaluate the maturity level of the manufacturing industry with regard to Industry 4.0/5.0 is presented and tested in the Croatian manufacturing industry. The developed methodology is unique since it puts Industry 5.0 in the right context with Industry 4.0. Therefore, the Industry 4.0 index remains the main indicator; however, alignment with three Industry 5.0 aims (human-centricity, sustainability, and resilience) represents three additional indicators. The results of the current state analysis are presented as a case study with a discussion about the results and methodology itself
